Mulligans is a fun locals bar right around the corner from the soccer that my son trains at on Taco Tuesday's! On Tuesdays i keep it simple with tacos (beef or chicken) with some complimentary chips and salsa. Simple and tasty with a Bold Rock. The service is always friendly and there is always a lively crowd. I enjoy taking over the Touchtones Juke box and playing some great classic rock! I only have about 45-1 hour and it's always fun to stuff my face with tacos and a few Bold Rocks. It gets busy so get there early especially on Taco Tuesdays. Cheers! read more

I had heard this place had a good taco special on Tuesday evenings so I decided to check it out. You get a choice of chicken or been on a flour tortilla for $2.00. The chicken is a lot better than the beef which is just hamburger meat. The have a Sunday special on spaghetti & meat balls so I might try that out. I didn't see any other food specials but mostly drink specials the rest of the week. Over all the menu just wasn't that appealing to me. All their wings are breaded and fried and their chicken tenders are breaded and fried. It's got a local Cheers bar kinda feel to it. It's set up as a Sports Bar with several large HD TV's scattered about. There is a huge Philadelphia Eagles flag prominently displayed. I didn't see any Panthers logo items & only one Hornets banner that said 'Buzz City'. There were two nice ladies behind the bar Brandy and Brandy. They were sure busy from about 530p when I got there til an hour later when I left. They have a good size patio with tables and umbrellas on the far end so a good option when the weather is nice. They have an in-door corn hole set up on the other end of the building. There are also some coin operated game machines and two regulation sized pool tables. They an on-demand video trivia game called TapTV. It' very similar to NTN Trivia except you down load an app and your smart phone is your answering device. Worth considering moving. We are visiting from San Diego and randomly found this bar (thanks Yelp!) to watch the Detroit / SF game. It ended up being the best decision of our trip. We met a regular, Steve, who offered up spot on recommendations for bar food (highly recommend the wings and potato skins!) as well as tips on local life. The owner, Eric, is amazing. Love this local bar. Husband and I came twice to this spot. The second time was better. We came to watch thurs night football and they had $4 well drinks. We ordered the honey bbq wings..amazing! I think their bar food is elite even though I didn't try a lot of things from the menu, but from the previous reviews I'll stand by it. My husband is a big fan of how the bar looks. It has the man cave feel, and all sports teams are welcome! They also had a DJ Thursday night and he was playing all the throwbacks as well as taking requests. The service was A one! Bartenders were amazing and Brandi was a gem! She's so welcoming and friendly. She made our visit so much better I'd say. Southern hospitality at its finest. I've never heard of Mulligans but once discovered, I went with my husband. I was pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious and the service was great. I will go back again. The only suggestion I have is more lighting outside, it is was too dark at night. read more

Pretty ok, not great, not bad, just a solid option if you are looking for a beer and some sports bar food, but nowhere I would go out of my way to check out as nothing stood out in any way. Nice hidden gem. We came around 1pm and we were the only ones in there so service was really good lol. They have taco Tuesday's!! $1 beef tacos and $2 chicken tacos. They are both good. Comes with a flour tortilla with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Also comes with a side of salsa and tortilla chips. We also ordered chips and salsa and a side of queso. The queso was only .99 if you buy the chips and salsa. They were huge portions. We will definitely come back again. They offer daily specials and they have pool tables! read more

I do realize this is a bar and it's hard to maintain on busy nights. However, service is hit or miss. I've been here on several occasions and enjoyed myself, mostly. It's a local bar where you visit with the locals. The music isn't too too loud so conversations are still possible. Though the staff will wipe the counters, somehow, sticky is a staple. Pool and Corn Hole are main activities and the bathrooms aren't the worst bar bathrooms I've seen. Overall, okay. Never overcrowded but definitely a larger weekend crew. The staff isn't always part of the friendly bartender club though. Mostly, understood, however, good service to drunks means great tips. Especially, at a local joint. Make a few friends and work becomes easy. This is pretty close to home for me so I'll still visit. Just a few things I might change to keep a better crowd. read more

Went there on Saturday for 80's night. Had a fantastic time, service from all but one bartender was fantastic, food was delicious, DJ was spot on, drinks refreshing etc etc. So why 1 star do you ask? Well it's that one bartender, the older blonde lady who stomps around like she owns the place. There were a couple of guys just trying to pay their tab and it had been taking a long time... All of a sudden she is yelling "Get Out" at the top of her lungs at them. Totally incited what came next which was completely avoidable. They run for the door, the bouncer crashes over the bar to chase them sending stuff flying everywhere, potentially injuring patrons (and apparently almost choking one of the people he was chasing). At this point most the bar rushes outside and the police who are conveniently present. Back inside the bar, the old blonde bartender still looks crazed, certainly seemed like she was "on" something, starts yelling at my to whether I've paid my check. I responded that I had and I was just finishing my water, and waiting for an Uber. She then starts yelling at me to "GET OUT". Totally wild eyed and crazy, now very clearly coked up, or missing a substantial amount of medication she should be on. I finally manage to get my water in a to-go cup and take it outside to wait for the Uber. Seemed safer on the street than inside the bar at this point. So again, amazing place, great food, great people, but ruined by one individual who seems determined to ruin everybody's night. Watch out for the old blonde bartender lady, you never know when she's suddenly going to turn on you and attack, or leave early before your night is ruined by her as she does seem to get more aggressive and rude as the night goes on. read more

I asked to place a Togo order. she grabbed a pad and wrote down my name. then asked me what I wanted without offering me a menu. after getting a menu, she was quick to come back, called me the wrong name (my names written on the sheet), then took my order. I ordered chicken sandwich which comes with LTO and honey mustard. I asked for no onions since I absolutely detest raw onions. I also orderEd the homemade onion rings and their homemade dipping sauce Bartender said it would be about 10 minutes so I waited. 25 minutes later I paid for my food and was out the door, excited to get home and enjoy my food. sandwich had no honey mustard and big raw onions. sandwich was good but definitely would have been better with the honey mustard and without the raw onions which I removed, but the smell was still there. the onion rings were exceptional as well as the dipping sauce. overall the food was very good. bartenders service not so much. she was too busy drinking shots and telling dirty jokes. might go back but if I see that same bartender won't stay and order.... read more

This is one of the local staples off Rock Hill. It's slightly off the beaten path and it gets super dark over in the area that leads right up to the place which can make it a bit spooky and hard to find. But once you're there what you will find is great quality bar food, reasonable drink prices and quality customer service. My darling and I love to go on tacos Tuesdays for two dollar beef/chicken tacos and 5 dollar margaritas. No frills just a basket full of tacos with some chips and salsa on the side.
