Can't believe this, x small wings We ask the server if that's the regular size and her answer was depends of where they came from. And we totally agree but there is a common sense to not sell this kind of food to the clients! We ask in a really nice way to show the wings to the manager she never show up and just give us 10off This is not about money is about costumer service

Thought the food was mediocre-- until my husband got severe food poisoning after eating the 30 day aged steak. Also, the beers just don't taste right. After reading that they don't clean their taps, it makes sense now. Such a shame considering their great location and beautiful views.

Love sitting outside at the bar with live music and the amazing bartender Hannah on Thursdays!!

Just ok sports bar that does serve food late. Service and availability of drinks needs improvement. The chili was extremely spicy and I like spice but the worst part was it was just barely warm. I told the server and she laughed. My husband had wings which were not bad but nothing to get excited about.

Bartender Mckayla not sure how she spells her name is adorable. She got a couple of drinks for my husband but then she was off work. Ricky started to wait on us. He was great. My wings were over cooked I ate 1 then gave up. He offered to take them off our bill. We're not from here so won't be back of course. Thankfully hotel serves food so I'll eat there.

When there are not a lot of places to have food after 900pm other than fast food,we decided this would be a good choice since we just arrived in the Charlotte area. Located in the Kingsley area, the Carolina Ale House is basically glorified bar food without any local brews ! Having never been to the Carolinas I wanted to try some local beers . My wife wanted a gluten free beer which was listed on their drink menu but the server said they did not have any. She then ordered a cider and they didn't have that either. The server said their menu was out of date...what? She settled on a Carolina Hurricane which was ok but a lot of ice. We ordered their house made chili and Carolina BBQ wings. The chili was a good portion but extremely hot as in Spicey not temperature. Maybe a few crackers on the side would have been nice. The wings were small but crispy and juicy but they tasted like regular store brought BBQ sauce..nothing special. The server (Elizabeth ) never came back to ask us if we wanted more drinks or how our food was. We did flag her down to pay our bill and for some reason she gave us 2 bills..one for drinks and one for food. Very odd plus they charge a 2pct. Fee to use a credit card. Not a lot but would have been nice to know. If you want bar food late at night or watch a sports event..give them a try but don't expect anything special.

Food wasn't great. Service was slow. It felt like a waste of money. Also the drinks were too sweet.

Others got their appetizers at 2 tables while we were still waiting. Wings were dry and while I ordered all flats, there were 4. The beer was cold but the iced tea was not. I normally like this restaurant but not today!! We agreed based on our food there would be no reason to return unfortunately.

This place was quite large with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. There was regular tables, booths and high tables as well as a large bar you can sit at. The decor gave hunter/lumberjack feels with prop axe's on tables and mounted animals on the walls. Large TV's were everywhere showing all types of sports from softball, cornhole, extreme frisbee and the more common sports. We were greeted warmly and promptly were lead to a table. Looking at every table, they all had two dishes and two sets of utensils. We had three people eating. A third plate and set of utensils was never given to us. Also there are no menus. There was a sticker on the table with a QR code you could scan to get the menu but that was never pointed out to us. Our server came promptly and we were able to get our drinks quickly while we were trying to figure out the menu. Our server was kind of nice to realize we were having issues with the app bringing up the menu so she gave us time to look it over while coming back often to check on us. Eventually we had decided what we wanted. I ordered the Billionaire's Bacon for an appetizer. The Bacon was a bit undercooked to my liking. It was a little chewy. But the sweet and spicy taste was very good. My friend ordered the Brisket Chili and downed it very fast. They really enjoyed it. For our entrée's I ordered the Beer Battered Fish n Chips, my two friends both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak minus the mushrooms. We all got the seasoned french fries. Their cheesesteaks came large and correctly made. My one friend was only able to finish half of it and took the rest home for lunch tomorrow. My Fish n Chips came with four pieces of hot and yummy Cod. It was white and flakey and the batter was light but crunchy. The seasoned fries were cooked perfectly and the seasonsing reminded me of Old Bay. And there was plenty of them too! Our server refreshed our drinks when we were getting low and checked on us several times to make sure everything tasted good and if we needed anything else. We split the bill and we were just handed a paper receipt. I was surprised there was no little folder that it was put in. Overall we had a good experience. The food was good, the service was good. For a place that has signs showing you how cold the beer fridge is you would think they would have something on the table showing you their frosty mugs of beer. A hand held menu is so much better but as long as you know what you want it's a nice place. Come football season I am thinking this is gonna be a great spot to watch games. I want to try their wings next time because they have some interesting combinations. If you are looking for a new spot give them a try!

First Watch was a place I hadn't been to yet so we gave it a try. We arrived around noon but it was barely half full at that time. We were seated quickly but unfortunately we sat there for quite a while before a waitress finally showed up. Seating was good. Lots of half booth/table and chairs. On to the food! We ordered the million dollar bacon to go with our french toast with a berry compote and the biscuits with turkey sausage gravy and eggs. The bacon was amazing! Sweet with a bit of spice to it. My challah bread french toast was good but not as custardy as I'm used to with french toast. The berry compote was great with it. We were given a warm bottle of syrup to use which I love but I wish the bottle was clean before being put in front of me. There was a buttery smug probably from the last users. Mom's eggs and biscuit was great according to her. Food was ten outta ten but the service was slow to non-existent. If it had been a full house I shudder to think how long a wait you may get for service but then again it might have been a fluke. Either way the food was delicious.

In an eatery specializing in breakfast improperly cooked eggs are puzzling. And the ugly, this was our third visit in the last 6 weeks AND the eggs were cooked improperly each visit! We love the imaginative menu but if you cook staff can't get the easy part right you may be in the wrong business. PS: I ate the hard cooked eggs the first two visits but three strikes and you're out! PSS: the runner that delivered our breakfast apologized & admitted this happens "all the time"! Sounds like a management problem.
