Dropped off in the back of a gas station to wait for the bus to fo get diesel near the mexican border. At 3 am! With small children! To say it felt unsafe is an understatement. About 45 minutes waiting in a parking lot of an apartment complex in the middle of the night to switch drivers to drive Mexican border. It felt gut wrenching. A total of 25 hour trip to our destination amd stopping in many different cities loading and unloading people. I am NEVER taking a bus and I wouldn't go in Turimex even if they paid me to get in their busses. Cucaracha en el suelo durante el viaje. We set up an initial meet and greet phone call to go over expectations and discuss needs. From there Cari hit the ground running and came back to us with various options for a destination wedding. We looked at multiple countries and resorts in the Caribbean that worked within our budget. We ended up choosing Secrets Akumal in Riviera Maya, Mexico because it seemed to have the best bang for your buck while offering an easier travel arrangement for our guests. Cari handled all of the communications with the resort for the wedding guests and all of the communications with the wedding coordinators to confirm our date. She handled every stressful aspect of planning without a single complaint, and since I know our guests well, it was shocking! True Rockstar! When we flew to Mexico for the wedding, we were greeted by our driver who had chilled champagne waiting for us in the car. When we got the resort, we had more special gifts waiting for us in the room. I felt like a celebrity all due to Cari's personal touches. We ended up having 97 people attend our wedding, Cari managed everyone's hotel reservation and their airport transfers. I never heard about any issues and every went according to plan. I can't imagine what this experience would've been like if I didn't work with Cari. She made everything seem easy and carefree. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Airlines. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Airlines again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. There are requirements before entering every country and Visas and health forms you need to fill out.
