Today we had my nieces graduation, we wanted to get her flowers and actually parked right by this store....we went in and we were greeted by a lovely lady... we honestly didn't know what we wanted besides some simple flowers to give to an eighth grader. She was kind enough to help us out and put 2 arrangements together for a super good deal! we were very pleased with the outcome of the arrangement and how fast she did both of them. She even surprised us with a small ladybug on one of the flowers and a balloon for my 4yr old son to give him :)! (Which he can't seem to let go) Pleasant shopping experience! I would definitely recommend this flower shop for all occasions! Friendly staff and beautiful flowers! I don't live in Fullerton but would definitely make the drive out there again! read more

Where do I start. The person that takes the orders on the phone was rude on the day of the order. I specifically asked for a morning delivery and I even repeated that to them and now they claim that it didn't say that in the order. When I say never again I mean it. read more

I received roses from here. I unfortunately have to say I was disappointed in the arrangement. For years by husband has sent me roses from here and the arrangements of roses used to be unique and gorgeous. The roses sent lately look like something you can buy at a grocery store or Costco read more

How do I begin to express how incredible Neal and his crew are?!?! My daughter's wedding was this past weekend and she had a pretty tight floral budget (but of course, had an expensive looking vision) Neal went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. He was very personable and truly went out of his way to make sure she was happy. Every little detail was stunning! He made an arrangement for the cake table (that she wasn't even expecting and was amazed by) that looked like a tree trunk with their names carved in inside a heart... coming out of the trunk was one of the most exquisite arrangements I have ever seen! The table arrangements were exactly what she had envisioned... every detail... perfect! This is most definitely the best florist around! read more

Just okay. I ordered through Telefora. The arrangement was very small compared to what Telefora promises. The arrangement wasn't horrible but it was a bit wilted like it was in a hot car for too long. Also, The colors they use were sort of the idea of what I picked but didn't live up to the vibrant arrangement I expected. I would't order again if the arrangements comes from here. It was just blah. For $55 I could have picked a ton of prettier arrangements that looked better from Costco or Alberton's. I would say, not worth it. read more

I only wish I had found them sooner.I was unhappy with prior florist, "vissers" also secret garden, both places I will never return to.I was looking for someone to take care of my special floral needs,as I was mourning the loss of someone special, and I needed flowers to be just so. We had our wedding flowers done with Mums the Word Florist and while we were initially very excited to work with Maria (she had lots of great ideas and was intuitive with what my daughter wanted), the end result was disappointing at best. Nothing was as promised except some of the flowers for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. The bouquet for my daughter did not have the flowers in them that they were supposed to. The arch at the wedding venue didn't have either the fabric or the sunflowers they were supposed to have. And the table centerpieces were NOTHING like what was promised. NOT EVEN CLOSE. We provided the lanterns and candles and Maria was suppose to provide a flowered centerpiece with my daughter's chosen flowers. We ended up with what looked like a salad of petals poured around the lantern--no flowers, nothing like what was promised. It was NOT what was expected or paid for (and I know she charged at least $100 for these at that was the price reduction she offered when we went from 13 tables to 12). Additionally, as her team was setting up, we told them this is not what was paid for and Maria came bringing some additional sunflowers and white roses (which my daughter specifically did not want) and came across as if she was doing ME a favor. I am exceptionally disappointed in her service and what we ended up with. Learn from our mistake... get a contract with everything spelled out as to what is going to be delivered and what flowers are being used. Everything else with the wedding was fantastic (venue, caterer, wedding cake vendor, etc.) but seeing my daughter extremely upset in the beginning of the day because Maria did not deliver what was promised was very, very disappointing. I even gave Maria a chance to respond to an outbound message to her on her site, but never heard a word back. There are lots of good reviews for her and hopefully we were just an anomaly,, but PLEASE do yourself a favor and get yourself a contract with all details spelled out. Maria, you should be ashamed at what you did to us for this wedding. I am very sad at how this was handled and hope that for others' sake, you do better in the future. I couldn't be happier with how beautiful this surprise was. My boyfriend sent them while he was work and couldn't believe they were ordered and at my front door in less than an hour. They are so beautiful and my favorite sunflowers with a little note on it. Beautiful vases as well! So happy! After looking on there website to see how much my boyfriend actually paid for them I couldn't believe how fair the prices were and they actually look better in person then they do on there website :) read more

There are elves working at Mums the word . . . Several months ago, Mums the Word prepared all the floral arrangements for my grandfather's funeral. Our previous preferred florist shop was sold. Due to the timing of the event, we had to find a new location. Mums the Word saved the day. They were able to supply us with the most beautiful arrangements. We were able to order several patriotic versions, since Grandpa was a WWII vet. We had so many arrangements coming from the same florist, they made sure all were unique. Everything was beautiful. I hadn't really thought about the florist in the last few months but today, my mom was feeling as if her Christmas spirit was fading. She had just broken her arm a couple days ago. With this being her first Christmas without Grandpa, she asked if I had any Christmas spirit to share. I was in the neighborhood of Mum's the Word. I pulled in and asked her to wait in the car. The shop was very busy. They were finalizing last minute orders, when I asked if they could make a corsage for my mother. The clerk hesitated for a moment, saying they were booked. I then asked if I could just buy some greenery that smelled of Christmas, to help my mom's spirit. The owner stepped in and saved the day! He not only got me greenery of both pine and cedar, he attached two roses and made a quick corsage. When I asked how much, he wouldn't let me pay. Wow! Thank you Santa. Thank you for helping my mother find her Christmas spirit! The experience brought my Christmas spirit back to full swing, too! I will be back for all my floral needs. read more

Wow! Avoid this place at all cost!! Just returned from trying to order prom flowers. Politely approached the Wicked Witch of the West requesting wristlet and boutienierre. She growled at us "well...what do you want?????". I told her I liked one I saw online. She yelled at me saying "you can't have that..yada, yada.." Asked to see photos of samples. She snapped back, "you get 3 rose wristlet and a boutienieere, single rose. Have NEVER in my life experienced such rude CS!! Hope to see the demise of this classless business in the very soon future! My brother called to order an arrangement for my mom's birthday but it was ten minutes until closing and we wouldn't have been able to pick up before then, however, the woman working allowed me to pick up the flowers a couple minutes after they closed. That was awesome they went out of their way for us like that. My mom loved the flowers and everyone that saw them complimented on how pretty they were. The arrangement had roses, tulips, gerber daisies and a few others ranging from shades of peach to magenta and came in a small vase. It was about $30 which was a good price for what we received. Had used them over the last 10 years and unfortunately I won't be using again. The arrangement was so average, understated and has been done so many times. I paid appx 85.00 , a 15.00 local delivery charge, expected a special handmade arrangement was told it would be unique and large (I specifically said I didn't want anything from the pre-arranged pictures on their website or a common FTD thing) But that is exactly what I got. I had no choice, the arrangement had to go, so I thanked her. BUT I will never try them again. VERY ORDINARY, OLD FASHIONED, UNREMARKABLE better off going to local market. Ordered flowers for a viewing/funeral yesterday. Flowers were absolutely gorgeous! The floral designer talked to me and made suggestions and created exactly what I had in mind. She called the funeral home to make sure there was a viewing so she could get the flowers there on time. Very accommodating and provided excellent service from order to delivery. The reason for the YELP review is that Cynthia provided to me the names and phone numbers for other florists in the area where the plant was being delivered where I could save on delivery fees. She totally exceeded my expectations for customer service. I very much appreciated that and will definitely consider using them when it falls into their delivery zip codes. i think its really a reflection of the person who uses this amazing site to vomit their own ugliness ...hey we all dont like the same thing....some of us love babys breath some of us dont....it is the most popular look these days 2016....not my fav....mums is the most creative ..you have no idea .......lol that lady that mentioned she went to moms the word....she seems like a creditable view point... well i think they are the greatest been there for over 30 years....must be doing something right my very first meeting with them i had forgotten my wallet....they let me take the flowers and trusted me to return with the money...and i did with 4 cupcakes for them to enjoy cause they are so nice my mother always taught me if you dont have somehting nice to say....say nothing at all but then i guess yelp would go broke....and wr would the angry people vent....maybe god or their priest read more
