They can't really control their guests; that said, the social aspect is heavily encouraged to the detriment of the overall experience. You start off with each person introducing themselves with a fun fact. That eats time that could be spent talking about...I don't know...cooking. The social aspect is mixed in almost literally with your food. You are not just paying for experienced chefs to guide you. You are paying to be grouped with (admittedly friendly) strangers who will kind of ignore the chef and just do their own thing with the meal you will eat later. Unless you are a group of four friends I guess. The unwanted social aspect continues to the end of the night: Where they have each of a us publicly review the experience. Yeah, my review was definitely edited. How are you supposed to say that the very patience the chef's displayed with the chatty guests should have been sharper? They gave a little tip at the end of the night that they say they normally mention during the course of cooking. Yeah, it was not given out earlier because of all the picture taking and socializing. People are definitely having fun. I am admittedly the curmudgeon in this case. This isn't to say that I learned nothing, that the meal was bad, or that I did not have any enjoyment. I was frantically searching online for someplace near me (South OC, where I could order a charcuterie board. Jackie's Board Life caught my eye based on positive reviews, transparent website with detailed descriptions, selection and photos. Surprisingly most cheese chops near me didn't have many photos of what the board and presentation will look like and I didn't want any surprises or false expectations. After that, you can get your tweezers, tray and start choosing the dried flowers you'd like to use. They also have premium flowers that range from around $3 - $5 if you want something extra special. This is truly a one of a kind experience, and while some may say it's expensive, it would be even more to buy in a store. They've been in business for 25 years and know what's what when it comes to the bow and arrow! Having not practiced this ancient sport for many years, my expectations were low coming in, but I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. The rules were straightforward and shooting the bow was simple and fairly easy. The aiming part wasn't as easy... but I definitely improved by the end of the two hours! The team working there helped out with general instructions and pointers as well were all shooting. People started "getting it" about an hour in and balloons on the targets started popping pretty regularly. I finally got one right at the end! It was also pretty cool to see some of the more serious semi-pro type of archers there with their hardcore bows and compound bow setups. Overall this is a unique experience and worth a go if you're looking for a fun activity. They also have lessons and it's good for older kids. Five stars!

First off - it's definitely harder to make them than it seems. lol If you have option paralysis or get overwhelmed easily, prepare yourself! Look at alllllll the colors in my photos available to use and maybe plan ahead. They provide templates of different floral, geometric, and banded designs that you can use, but you can go off-script if your noggin comes up with an idea! They give you a decent amount of time to create a design, glue said design in place, and then fill the rest of your lamp's empty space in with the tiny glass beads. There are a few final steps you can't complete while in "class" but that's due to the glue needing time to sit. You're not left in the dark however, as they show you a how-to video which is included in your take-home kit via a QR code. =) I noticed this place has other classes that seem like fun (terrarium and some sort of small dish painting?). I may need to return. Notes: - You interact with glue so you'll likely get messy. - There's a restroom to wash your hands, or if nature calls. - In the small bead fill-in time frame, everyone drops them. It's human. It became part of the experience. Aim for your tray!

Parking was easy and convenient. They recommend getting there 15 minutes before your start time to fill out the waiver, watch the safety video, and put on the safety gear. You don't want to eat into your scheduled rage time. They also have escape rooms and paint rooms in addition to the rage room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The safety gear included helmet with a visor, gloves, overalls. You can use your phone to take videos and photos, and hook up to the speaker so you can play your own music. The basic package is 20 minutes and you get to break 12 bottles And 6 ceramics. It was plenty of you go slow And break 1 at a time but you can buy extra breakables if need be. And there are tires that you can bang on if you run out of breakables. There are a plethora of weapons to use to destroy the breakables (shovels, bat, crowbar, mallets, pipe wrench, etc).
