BIG shoutout to will for being such an awesome game master and for being such a genuine, kind soul. lily and leslie were super sweet as well and made our experience so enjoyable. alright, lets start with timeliner. the concept of time traveling and all the small mechanisms was so cool. fun fact, timeliner is the test room for the tech in cosmic crisis! my friends and i have done a good amount of escape rooms 20+ and timeliner is one we got through pretty quick. its a good room if you want to be wowed by the small details. heist is a more hands-on room compared to the timeliner. this room is one where you yourself have to solve the puzzles rather than the technology solving it for you. it catches you off guard and surprises you with all its mechanisms. highly recommend both rooms to anyone looking for a chill escape room experience. read more

my friends and i absolutely loved this escape room!! we chose the cosmic crisis room, and felt like it was pretty doable for four people. it was super fun and sufficiently challenging, as we finished with only four minutes to spare. there was a good variety of types of puzzles within the game, each testing our different skillsets, making it easy for all of us to contribute in our own way. all of the staff were also super friendly and enthusiastic, shout out dante who was working the front desk during our visit! our group did purchase tickets through groupon, which cut down the pricing quite a bit, so look into that if you're planning to visit :) would highly recommend making a reservation a day or two in advance just to ensure you're able to get the time and room you prefer! read more

Every time we come to the Escape Game and try a new room, we are blown away by the tech they use. It's not-your-average mom & pop escape room, and for that reason we LOVE it. It operates with a first-come reservation basis, but each room has a max of 8-12 players. This means that you can bring your whole group in, and there's a chance you might have some strangers joining you as well if there's still space. We tend to wait last minute and book the rooms with no reservations yet so we can try to do them on our own. This time, our game keepers Ally and Marcy were so sweet and helpful. Come check out The Escape Game! We have a nifty escape room group that have somehow become addicted to escape rooms in the last year. We decided to check this one out. We opted to try out The Depths. It was a submarine theme. We really loved this room. It is probably our second favorite of the eight that we have tried so far. It was very intricate, and had three rooms within it to solve puzzles in, which is always much better than being wedged in one room the entire time. It was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to escape with one minute remaining! I really liked that we were allowed to take pictures in this room for better memories. We do want to try out the Recess room but it seems we need a bigger team for that one. My only complaint is that you can't keep the room as private if you don't buy all the slots. At any given time, you could end up with strangers reserving the extra slots and joining you. Awkward. Every other business we have tried locks up that slot once we book some. Luckily, no strangers joined us on this particular adventure. I do highly recommend checking this place out regardless. The staff is very nice and the room we did was very well laid out and detailed. read more

As an avid escape room adventurer, I would recommend the escape games - especially for larger groups and/or if you want to meet new people. These are public escape room games meaning you and anyone out there can sign up for the SAME room for the SAME time/date. Most rooms here fit up to 8 people which would be perfect if you had a large friend group. BUT if you only had 2-4 people and sign up ahead of time, be prepared to enter the room with new faces. Games start pretty on time, so make sure to be there with waivers signed! Also, they occasionally offer 20% off your next game once you escape the first! These games lean more on the tech side utilizing digital screens, electronic doors/buttons, lights, and puzzles - all of which I love! It adds more flavor to the game, while still providing the traditional puzzles feel with some rooms having locks, ropes, and mind-tingling puzzles. I would venture to say I like having more physical handheld clues like papers or props for decoding, but this place does get the job done. Some of the puzzles even require you to work simultaneously with your escape room team which creates more thrill! I have had friends that have gone here to the same rooms I have done where the rooms are slightly changed depending on the amount of people in the room or if the tech is broken - so just be aware that your experience could be different than others. For the price of about $42 a person you can't go wrong since there are multiple options that vary in difficulty from 3/10 to 9/10. Overall would recommend especially for a quick fun nigh read more

Super fun for everyone in my group! We went to celebrate a birthday and the staff gave her a singed card and a cute little show on the tvs in the wait room. We solved 'The heist' with 33 seconds left with some of help from our guide Scarlet. The guides do see and hear you in when your in the room, for safety reason, and they can type responses onto the tv. I only knocked this down because no where on the site does it say it's a SHARED experience. My core group of 4 have done close to 20 escape rooms and we like to complete private experiences. That said, we were paired with 4 strangers but still managed to have a good time because the group we were paired with ended up being cool (thank goodness). The host did see our discomfort and offered to rebook us if we didn't enjoy ourselves. Since we still had a good time, we left that offer on the table. The Timeliner room was fun. A bit cramped for 8 people, especially with half of them being strangers. The puzzles were good, some were more challenging, which was appreciated. We did complete it in time but used a few hints (no penalty to use but we try to not use them). Give it a try, but know it's shared you may be able to request a private experience, but haven't tried yet. read more

We had a last minute unexpected change and Ophelia was so nice to help me rebook and do changes we needed for our reservation. I think since most of us was our first time it was a good room for our first time!! Sind with was part of team bonding we did work as a group and did the room with less than an hour!!! My wife and I booked the Playground and ran it with our 5 year old. Our game master was Chelsea and she did an amazing job keeping us engaged and was able to task our daughter with things to keep us all working and moving along. We decided to use a 40% off same day booking to run the Heist, also with our 5 year old. The heist was certainly more difficult than the Playground but was also great. Our Game master this time was Gyng. Overall it was a fantastic end to the Summer and absolutely ignited our Daughter's interest in Escape Rooms. Both the front end staff and the Game Masters made the experience incredible, fun, memorable and we will be back to try all of the games here. Terrible service. The game was no prepared fully so we were interrupted during the game which affected us because we were not sure what we were trying to solve. Then after the game the staff were not apologetic at all and even were very dismissive. My group of 4 do escape rooms all the time so we know that if you purchase a card for the next time it will be a different price but the staff didn't even offer it to us I had to remind them. We returned to do 3 more rooms: Cosmic Crisis, Timeliner, and Playground. Originally it was just the first two but they convinced us to squeeze in Playground to close the night. All three rooms were really good but the stand out one was Playground. We played with just four of us and it was perfect. We had about 15-20 mins left when we escaped each room, and with no hints. Cosmic and Timeliner's puzzles were pretty techy and had a few locks to solve. Playground was loaded with dexterity puzzles and is my top favorite from TEG! They figured out a good formula for the their rooms and I'm loving it. I just wish their room were private bookings. read more

Located at the Block at Orange, this Escape Game place has been on my radar. Their website provides information about each escape game, difficulties and the time available. We booked our reservation ahead of time and we were in our own private group. Plenty of parking and things to do before and after. Nearby outlet shopping, Dave and Busters and many dining selections. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the front, asked us to sign waivers and waited for our game master to take us to outer space in "Cosmic Crisis". The rooms were immersive and were built very well. The games involved technology with old school and new school puzzles, it got us old and young to be really involved and worked together. Coming to this location is great because the place is surrounded by good food places. Also, the great thing is, if you are out and about with friends/family late at night, this is the place to go. Not is it only located close to a Dave and Buster's, there is also Lucky Strike. My family and I came out here to try their Escape Room - Prison Break. We were greeted by the manager there, T. She was extremely sweet and helpful. Our game master, Nova, helped us thru our adventure and we were able to Escape. We had so much fun that we quickly booked another room on the same night. They've been around since 2014 and have a solid reputation across the community for high quality props, customer service and puzzles, and the Orange location is no exception. We completed every room at this location and I highly recommend going during weekdays and avoiding weekends if you want to maximize your time and avoid being grouped with another team. Other that one caveat, everyone here is really nice and management takes issues seriously. I've also found that this company will really make it right--if for some reason you just don't have a good time they will really go out of their way to see that you are made whole. The reason I like the Orange location specifically is that the team here is just awesome. They're super nice and passionate about the industry, you can literally talk to them for hours about escape rooms, the company, or whatever and they're more than happy to spend the time explaining everything you might be curious about in detail.
