    We escaped!

We escaped the End of Days room at Mission Escape Games! Jennifer was so nice and helpful. She explained everything clearly and saved us by providing hints throughout our experience. Her support was like a warm light guiding us through, and I felt like she was genuinely proud of us escaping. The room itself was so immersive and cool! I had a lot of fun solving the puzzles and experiencing the atmosphere. I would definitely come back to try escaping from a different room!

Mission Escape Games is tucked away on the second floor of the Anaheim Garden Walk, and it's absolutely worth a visit. Booking online was super easy - lots of available time slots and clear options for their five themed rooms (priced at $39 per person). They also seem to accommodate walk-ins but I still recommend making a reservation to secure your spot. We planned an escape room outing last minute and did a booking over the phone. They were super accommodating. My group chose The Nemesis since we have already done their other rooms and this theme is a great addition to their collection. It is a little bit on the harder side so I would not recommend doing this one first if you're new to escape rooms. My only gripe is that they used AI images for some of the visuals and it still looks strange to me but the puzzles themselves are solid! There were five of us and that was the perfect amount. This room specifically had linear and nonlinear elements, so everyone had something to do. Big shout out to Faith, who made the experience even better with an awesome attitude and the straightforward instructions. At the end, they take a group photo and email it to you. They also let you take a photo with your phone. Tip: Don't forget to bring your parking ticket - they validate it for you!

Great escape room! I would recommend. Staff was friendly and helped as this was our first experience with escape rooms.

Mission Escape games is located on the second floor of the Anaheim garden walk. I do recommend reservations but I do think they can accommodate walk ins. Booking is easy which is done online with ample of time slot choices and 4 escape room options that are $39 per person. We did the bank heist and it was a good time for sure! We did this room with only three of us and the employee said it's a bit better with more people as you have to travel throughout the rooms but we managed and made it out with 1 minute to spare! Shout out to Kayla for the hints and being very informative and fun. They also take a group photo at the end and email it to you which is appreciated! I will definitely be back to try the horror theme room! **tip bring your parking ticket so they can validate it for you!

First escape room. On my list of things to do for awhile. We had such a great time! Able to make reservations in person and experience Escape the Hydeout, beginner level. So much fun! Friendly end helpful staff.

Wowwwww!!! What an amazing 1st experience! This was by far the best memory I am going to cherish with my family! First off, we passed this on the way to Billy Beez. Once I confirmed bank heist was not much for my kids we booked. It was my kids first time! PK was the best host & made sure we were comfortable & ready! My kids couldn't stop talking about how much they liked him! This was the best 1st experience & we will definitely be back!

    WE ESCAPED!!

LOVED our time @ mission escape games. we had a huge group and we were a little late but they were so understanding! tiffany, our game master, was absolutely awesome. she was so fun to talk to and made the whole adventure / experience sm more exciting. i love how she recapped and helped us take pics - legit the best!! give that girl a raise she deserves it esp for being willing to stay a bit overtime (but we completed our game 13 min before it was over so she didnt have to YAY!) luv u tiffany!! as for the game, it was so fun! we had to switch from heist to another one w/ a mad scientiest or smth but it was still fun. i got carried by my friends but like i love how they didnt make clues too obvious and stephanie wouldnt point out what we need exactly but just gave us little nudges if we're running behind time - so awesome sauce. THANK YOU!

I came here with family for a fun activity while visiting. We had such a fun time completing mission hydeout. Our game master did a great job explaining the rules and hints of the game. The hints that were given were great in timing and didnt give away too much information. For half of our group this was a first time escape room, and this was a great room for beginners. Everyone in the group had a fun time and this left us wanting to do more escape rooms. The room was well decorated and hints dispersed throughout the room so everyone had a chance to figure out a puzzle. Park on the 4th floor of the parking garage for closest access to the escape room location. They will validate parking that lasts 35 minutes after leaving.

Coworkers and I came here Thursday night as a bonding activity / going away experience. Bonus points certainly given for offering midweek discounts, resulting in a 35$/person fee. Given our 12 person party, we split up into two groups to conquer each the Darkest hour & End of Days. Molly, our game master, was very kind and certainly played the role of game master well for our group. The clues were a bit challenging in our End of Days but the hints provided to us by Molly were perfect, affording us more direction without completely spoiling the lock / challenge. Having done the Hyde and Jekyll room before at this location, I can confidently say I'd recommend this escape room!

There is a crawl portion, but not everyone has to do it. Once someone completes this part, everyone can get through without crawling.

That tension between needing to solve things and being too scared to move is such a smart design choice, and it's what set this room apart from anything else I've played. We only used 4 hints the whole game, which was surprisingly few for me -- a good sign that the puzzles were intuitive once we pushed past the fear enough to focus. I also did "The Overgrown" here, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi puzzle room that's more traditional but still well put together and a fun contrast to the horror of The Hide. If you want a horror escape room that actually gets your adrenaline up instead of just leaning on jump scares, The Hide is absolutely worth booking.

Turns out the blanks were supposed to be ignored?? . At one point where we all had to scramble for hiding spots, my glasses got knocked off. - In the waiting room, lotta the puzzles and their solutions were incomplete. - Something confusing about the clue via hands pointing fingers. We asked the staff afterwards, but they weren't sure either. I think the finger formation coulda been clearer and fixed rigid. They give you a walkie-talkie to keep in touch with the gamemaster throughout your session, which is cool given the mission and more fitting than if the gamemaster kept in touch via intercom. - Unfortunately, this radio can be accidentally turned down or switched channels amidst the horror chaos without your knowledge. + Love that this is the first escape room we've ever been to where the staff give the team one camera to record everything so we can save for fun later. - Downside is the camera recording may be accidentally paused amidst the chaos, and we wouldn't realize we're losing valuable footage. - They don't bookmark any highlights or intense moments for your convenience, so you'll have to find those yourselves as you replay the footage. Marc, the owner, was very nice and kind. He even allowed me to do a special request where I wore an outfit (which is a Morpshuit with t-shirt and shorts) underneath the gear used for the rage room. Very kind of him to accommodate this. I have never done a rage room before, so it was a unique experience. Shattering glass, and breaking things felt very liberating and it helped me release tension/anger. Additionally, at the very end, there was even another surprise where Marc even taught me how to throw ninja stars on the wooden board. It was super cool. At first, I couldn't get any ninja stars to stick, but on one of my final attempts, I actually did get the ninja star to stick, which was awesome!! I was pretty elated that I was able to do that! The delivery of the comment made by the staff was not very smooth (almost felt like implying we were bringing something bad or wrong). - A timer inside the room might be helpful as it's hard to keep track of time once you're destroying things. - Phone "mount" could be better secured with a clasp or something because one bump and our phone fell on the ground where there's shards and scraps everywhere. This could have easily scratched the phone. - Room felt cramped, but understand that may be limited by the size of the store space. - Half of the group was arriving late, in which I shared upfront and thought that the staff would assist in getting them as ready as possible before our first group came out to swap, but when I came out, I saw that they had not even begun to change. I understand the face shield and gloves are limited quantities, but they could have started fitting in the other items like jumpsuit and face coverings. - Also as we were swapping, I ended up giving the second group the instructions when it really should have been the staff to give them the run through. It felt very disorganized during the swapping. For the price, I think it would be nice if each group received at least one larger item and not just cups, plates, and glass. All-in-all, it was fun to let out some rage by wrecking things and not having to clean it up. My friends and I did enjoy this different experience. Also fun to watch them from the room cam inside the Axe Room as they rage.

This wasn't just an escape room; it was a deeply immersive, high-stakes horror experience. What sets this game apart is how incredibly engaging it is. They offer a choice between contact and full-contact levels, and if you really want the ultimate experience, you absolutely must opt for the full-contact version. It elevated the intensity and made the game feel so much more visceral and real. A huge part of why this was such a standout experience was our Game Master, Marcus. He was phenomenal--professional, attentive, and he truly knew how to guide the game to maximize both the scares and the fun. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend requesting Marcus as your GM. We had an unforgettable time. If you love horror and want a truly immersive, well-designed challenge, look no further than Pinocchio at Escapade. We can't wait to come back!

You can tell a lot of effort went into creating a fully immersive experience that makes you forget you're just steps away from downtown. The staff was super friendly but also knew exactly when to flip the switch and lean into the chaos. We had Joey as our host, and honestly... flawless execution. He worked hard to make us feel like we were truly trapped in a scary scenario, sprinkling just the right amount of tension, dread, and "oh no what did we get ourselves into?" energy. It was spooky, fun, and slightly unhinged -- which we loved. We're already planning our return for the Zoe room, and I cannot wait to willingly walk back into fear. If you like your fun a little dark, a little twisted, and very immersive, this is absolutely the place.

I'd say one of the best escape rooms wev'e done recently. Love how interactive and fun the rooms are! I thought the zombie room was really good, but the magical room was even better i'd say. I love both, and would recommend for people to do both rooms. It was all worth the fun and adventure! wish they had more rooms. Also, the game master was nice and was very accomodating. He followed us through our progress and helped when we felt stuck. Recommended 1000/10

We did the Magic Cottage which was super interactive. I've never done an escape room before but the rest of my family has. I didn't know what to expect, but the rest of my family said this one was better than others. The 3-D effects and all the cool puzzles make it so entertaining! One thing tho, when you get told "clues/directions" you have to listen good. Like, no one should be talking/whispering as it's difficult to hear otherwise. I'd definitely recommend checking out this place! There was limited street parking in front, but there was a lot across the street. I'm not sure if you have to pay or if it was free.

We had so much fun, that when we were offered to do another room at a discount that day, we thought it over at lunch and walked back after to do the Cold War Bunker room. Our group of four ended up finishing both rooms with ten minutes to spare. Both rooms were fun, but the AI room was unique and felt much more modern. Less key locks, and instead different types of challenges. I can't really go over the rooms without giving much away, but I highly recommend checking out the AI room, and if you enjoy it, try out some of the other's. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms, as well as checking out their HB location in a few months for the Vegas room.

A quick heads-up on parking: the lot in the back can get tight during busy times, but there are plenty of street spots and nearby lots if you don't mind a short walk. There's also a small lot right in front of the storefront which is convenient. One thing to note -- there are two separate entrances depending on which rooms you book, so just pay attention to where you're supposed to check in. On this visit we played Starship, which felt like being inside a video game. Super interactive and really required our whole group to work together -- communication is key in that one. Our gamemaster Nathan was awesome and somehow talked us all into booking a second room on the spot (not a hard sell when you're having that much fun), so we jumped into SASHA right after. SASHA had more straightforward puzzles with a really fun theme -- a great palate cleanser after the intensity of Starship. We've also done Zodiac on a previous visit -- incredibly hard, spooky, and so satisfying. That one will test you. There are still two more rooms I haven't done yet and I'm determined to get back before they swap anything out.
