    Post escape smiles!

We did the prison break escape room, and my family loved it! This is a really high-quality escape room experience, with some unique features that make you think outside of the box! I would highly recommend: very creative, loads of cool things to look at and interact with, and a very friendly and helpful staff! Also, they were offering 20% off of your next escape room if you book after finishing - we totally took them up on that!

The Escape Game in Irvine is one of the better escape rooms available in the area. Today we played the yeti game. We were joined by five other people in our team. The level of games are by number. This one is considered eight out of 10. You are given one hour to complete the mission by utilizing clues given to you. This is one of the busier locations because of the shopping so if you are coming to this location, make sure you add 20 minutes to your time of arrival.

Finally completed the full lineup here after finishing Yeti. Across every room, the quality and consistency have been impressive. The themes are immersive, the puzzles are intuitive without feeling overly guided, the mechanics function smoothly, and everything is well maintained. The staff are welcoming and genuinely enthusiastic about the games and you can tell are escape room enthusiasts themselves. A special thanks to McKenna, our game master for Yeti, who was an absolute rockstar. May not be back here for a while until something new pops up, but will check out other locations.

My daughters planned a great day for me for Mother's Day and The Escape Game in Irvine was part of it! We did the Depths game and we finished with 3 minutes to spare! It took some thinking on our part but with 6 great minds we were successful in escaping the Depths! We will definitely be back to try a different game since we had so much fun ! These games seem to be more suitable for adults or older teens as it would be too difficult for younger kids but it is a lot of fun !!

Had a blast at this escape room! We had a reservation for a group of 6 people and we signed waivers prior to check in and everything went smoothly. We played the special ops: mysterious market which had a 8/10 difficulty. It was one of the harder difficulties they have. They also have the heist which is also 8/10 difficulty and then they have prison break with the highest difficulty of 9/10. Our group will be back to try the prison break! The props and decor were top notch! Was pleasantly surprised. The walls a slightly thin, so we could hear other groups, but it wasn't too big of a deal as we were focused on our own game. We got out with a little over 4min left on the timer using 0 hints! Asan was our game master and he was great! Highly recommend asking for him! Will be back for more soon.

As far escape games go this places ranks at or near the top. Clean, nicely decorated, realistic, friendly, not claustrophobic, big, many options. Would recommend

My son wanted to do an escape room for his 13th birthday, so we booked The Escape Game for his party of 8. They had a blast and escaped with 6 minutes to spare! What really impressed us was that they gave my son a goodie bag of sorts with a pin, t-shirt, Minecraft water bottle, and some other things. They even gave him a birthday card that had handwritten messages by each of the staff!! It's thoughtful gestures like these that really make an impact and won't be forgotten! Thank you, Escape Game Irvine, for making my son's 13th birthday such a special one. :)

First, let me give a major shout out to Chelsea! Her and her service dog, Jazz were fantastic guides. I'm excited to say that my group Escaped the Playground without any official hints! We had about 6 minutes to spare, but it was a close call. This room was actually more challenging than I anticipated. My only negative is that this room is open to 12 people and if your group doesn't fill it, they'll add strangers (which happened). Our group was 5 and they were a family of 6, I believe. They thankfully were a great group, but it felt like a lot of people for two small rooms. And, the rooms weren't linear, so it got really confusing with so many different people and somewhat poor communication since there was a bit of awkwardness not knowing each other. But, at the end, it was a really fun time and we all worked together to escape! Can't wait to try more rooms soon.

We did The Heist and solved it with 4 mins to spare and lots of help with the unlimited hints. It's ~$47 per person. Depending on the game you can play with max 8 or 12 ppl. They also have different levels of difficulty. I believe The Heist is an 8/10. The rating fits. It was pretty difficult and there's no way we could've done it without the hints. Our only complaint is that it was small in there. It would be interesting to try the others and wonder if the games change regularly.

i can tell why this place has 4.8 stars. The front desk always be smilin' and jolly, never seen any more joyful front deskers than this place. I played "the heist", mainly because i liked stealing paintings from museums in nightmare difficulty (in video games). I triggered the alarm, which made me panic, bro this plan A failed so we plan B. The staff glazed me cuz i solved these clues fast, oh yea I was solo bruh. Nobody played w me i was hoping for people, but it was 11 and i was feeling sleepy, but this escape room made me feel like my life depended on it, and the mechanics were very smart, this escape room made me feel like im kinda smart and dumb at the same time. The only thing i didnt like was that the mask shot out lasers, and it was hard to notice it, and i had to be 6ft 4 to even reach the laser with the mirror. When i had no time the staff gave me extra time lol. if u r bored and u dont know what to do come here. Its like under 50 dollars a person pretty fair price. I thought i was cooking in the first room but in the 2nd room i fumbled. If u playing escape rooms for the first time, u can play this cuz u get hints! also when i spelt out the word, it didnt match the code, the A and E were 1s but the hint said 2, so if somebody could answer this question it would be great thanks.

There family survived The Escape Game: Legend of the Yeti

We survived Legend of the Yeti. Our game master was Dillon and he was awesome. The puzzles are fun and challenging, but not too hard. We've done all of these rooms at this location, even one they don't have anymore. We look forward to new rooms, adventures and fun in the future. The Escape Game is one of the originals and have some of the best rooms. I highly recommend them.

We were trying to find something to do after Christmas Day and found this place and thought it will be fun for the whole family. We made our reservation online. They do have different themes and level of difficulty to choose from. We chose prison break bc the photos looked cool! We went to check in early and everyone in your party needs to sign a waiver before the game. Then we got led to the game room and the staff explained to us how everything worked. I don't want to spoil too much but we had a fun time for an hour trying to look for clues and solving problems as a team; everyone contributed to the game in order to go us escaped!

If you're looking for a great group activity, this is it. The atmosphere is top-notch, mostly thanks to the enthusiastic staff who set the tone perfectly. We played with some other customers and had a seamless experience solving the puzzles together. It was fun, challenging, and a total rush.

What are you putting groups with strangers ? Having that messes with the flow of the games 😕

Is there a place to store bags/purses while in a game?

Yes they have a spot in the room to place your items. In the first room we did it had a basket on the floor we could place our stuff.

    Is it for all ages?

Yes, but 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. 4 and younger play free.

She didn't rush us out at all (as some escape room places do), she was extremely patient and kind, and she went over all of the clues that we didn't get to solve when our timer ended. My boyfriend and I spontaneously booked "The Doghouse" and I believe I spoke with her on the phone as well before booking and she was just as sweet as she was in person. I absolutely loved the creativity and complexity of the puzzles and the room/props were of high quality (and not old or overused like some places, lol). Her customer service was definitely top notch - my boyfriend definitely made sure to tip her, lol. Will definitely be back again to solve another room soon!!! Our gamemaster, Jerry, made the whole experience, especially when we were escaping SASHA. He really paid attention and offered hints only when we were really struggling. I do appreciate that he really abided by the level of help we requested initially. Most places will give you X number of hints which can add pressure to the experience, but Wild Goose offers unlimited hints but based on your groups preference. (Super helpful, only when needed/asked for, no help). Overall, great time! I'll be keeping an eye out for their new rooms. And thank you, Jerry! You were the best!! Couple things to keep in mind: - there's only two rooms - it's located upstairs in Diamond Jamboree (horrible parking)

I like how this theme was different. since a lot of escape rooms are like relics, zombies, etc. We made a reservation and everything was fairly quick to get us situated and started in our room. I would say this one was not as exciting compared to other rooms, and a bit small. I like how it did not rely too heavily on locks and codes. The Game Master was not too involved and honestly not very enthusiastic. I think when you do have game masters that are really fun, it really improves the game. Of all escape room places so far, this was just mid tier for me!

Horror themed immersive theatre experience…read more Ghost Hunter by Escape Room Era is more like being in a scary movie with actors, than an actual escape room. When they call this an "immersive theatre show," they mean it. This is a huge 3500 square foot location, and this lasts about 90 minutes long. While they say this is for groups of 4-12 players, it seems like 6(ish) people makes for the best experience here. Having too many people can get crowded, and having too few people means you may miss some of the interactive elements. Apparently there's an "extreme mode" where the actors are allowed to use tasers on you. We declined adding that to our experience. PROPS: To Kes, Wren, and Arshia, the team that was here when we did this experience SLOPS: It can feel strange to just wait out in front of the building, until someone comes to get you and start the experience.

This is a Scooby-Doo inspired escape room with a secondary "whodunit" murder theme. We were greeted by our game-master Theresa who was very friendly and energetic. I won't give it away, but this room has one of the coolest starts. It has to do with how and where you watch the introductory video before beginning the actual room. We all loved it and it sets up the adventure perfectly. Everybody gets a flashlight for the first part which is dimly lit but not dark. The garden area in front of the manor and the interior are both decorated in an amazingly immersive way. The interior is not a physically large space, but it feels huge. They did a great job of putting a lot of different areas, rooms, and floors in an area that is not big as it seems. There is a great variety of puzzle types including locks, keys, mechanical puzzles, physical puzzles, and some other unique puzzles. Various sound effects play in the background, and a chime goes off every 15 minutes to help you keep track of time. At least one person in your group will have to do some stair climbing in more than one place, and do one other light physical activity. A group of four was perfect for this room. We are all pretty experienced, and split up at times. The puzzles are not overly difficult, but there are a lot. Everything flowed very well, and we all got into a great grove. For the first time in a while, we didn't need any clues and finished with twelve minutes left. Once you've solved all the puzzles and gathered all the clues about who the murderer is, you have to identify which of the three suspects it is to finally escape. You can make multiple guesses, and it was a good final brain teaser to complete an excellent room. We had a lot of fun doing this one, and it was definitely one of our favorites out of the nearly 60 escape rooms we've done. The scale change from downstairs to upstairs rooms was rough and the slide left most of my party pointing at me to make the plunge. If something could be changed it would be the reality and conclusion. I think playing a little more into a realistic whodunnit instead of a campy goofy one would add more desire to reach a correct outcome which by the end I was just saying names because nothing really stood out as THE answer.
