This place is God awful. Never have I ever experienced such poor service. The food is spoiled or stale more often than not. The workers are lazy and rude. Ive been going here close to a year now (out of convenience) so I think I'm experienced enough to say so. I recently attempted to rectify an issue I had with one of the workers by speaking with the owner and it was to no avail whatsoever; he refused to hold said worker accountable and instead smirked in my face. The only good thing about this place is the main cook (Elderly guy) in the back, he's literally the sweetest. -100/ 10 I wouldn't recommend it to my enemy. read more

Always great for a quick breakfast sandwich or lunch. They don't have a card limit which is probably my favorite feature. Let's not forget Tim! He's awesome. Love Murray's Deli. read more

Honestly I don't know what you guys are talking about? I've been a customer here for 15+ years! You want to complain? You REALLY want to see inedible food .. health code violations.. horrible customer care and shelves that are half stocked but mostly full of old candy that needed to be dusted off just to check the expiration date? You want a sketchy bodega that is only good for minors buying beers & cigarettes from the creepy and very dirty man that worked there? Ok! Travel back in time .. go years back to before they sold it and transferred ownership a few times! BEFORE they completely cleaned up and remodeled the place! You Yelp jerks & bullies would've had a hay-day buuuuuut back then you either went to a place or you didn't. Simple. None of this trying to destroy a local family owned business nthisonsense! That simple! Every single person that works there is beyond friendly and I've seen them remain in that state of mind when dealing with the craziness this town brings sometimes! Wendy the young girl is hilarious and always has me cracking up.. even on my worst day! She truly embodies what customer service should be when it comes to building lasting relationships with her guests & keeping a positive, upbeat & playful attitude.. which in turn creates loyal customers. Their deli meat and breads are ALWAYS fresh. If they don't have something you need and you live nearby ..they'll order it! If you frequently buy food there because it's your only option being on foot with ZERO grocery stores in town .. aside from the (very few & far between) fancy Nyack overpriced "markets" posing as a "healthy local small grocery store"! They don't take advantage of that fact at Murray's.. instead they go out of their way to accommodate you! I lost a $100 bill on the way there once .. I was so upset and annoyed and HUNGRY.. the older Spanish lady that's usually there for the night shift (such a sweetheart .. I'm blanking on her name) well she didn't just gimme some "oh no! I'm so sorry. That stinks but I can't help you" look. Know what? She without a word .. simply bagged up my purchases and told me to pay when I could.. which is a kindness I've seen extended there on multiple occasions. The place used to be good for sandwiches but this is unacceptable. I asked for a turkey club on whole wheat an got a regular sandwich (without the 3rd piece of bread) on white bread. Go check out my picture I posted of their turkey sandwich. I wouldn't have served it to my niece an they expected a grown man to be satisfied. Only thing good i can say is that they gave my money back after i had to explain to the counter guy that i was about to lose my composure. Anyway, at one time it was good, now take the extra time an find somewhere else to go. read more

Honestly, I don't see why people hate this place. Sure, I can relate to the prices. But come on, you're just showing humanity how much you are giving an attitude to vendors. Either you didn't have your morning wood or you forgot what, "Respect" is from all that blast you've been put in. Otherwise, I don't mind what I eat in places like this. I think the sandwiches are pretty delicious. The mayo not so much, but everything else is pretty good. read more

Not sure if this is still the current name of this deli. But the deli is located inside the gas station. I have worked around the corner from this deli for over a year now. I go there often to get sandwiches, bagels and drinks. After waiting on line and waiting for the food to be ready today, the man at the deli decided to inform me they that they have a $10 credit minimum. Meanwhile I have never had a problem charging less then $10 there before. Sometimes they charged a $.35 fee which I did not care about but other times they said nothing and just swiped the card. Theres plenty of other delis, breakfast and lunch places within walking distance in this area and nothing special about this one. On to the next one. read more

Do you not want to make money? Everyone that works here has such an attitude and is so unfriendly with the exception of one guy (not the owner) who is really nice. The deli section is probably fine enough if you want to get a sandwich but the few times I did get breakfast sandwiches or anything else I was grossed out and felt sick. Never again will I put myself in a situation where people treat me that way. Zero stars ... Not going back. read more
