She wanted to see if he'd be interested too. And she was tickled that he enjoyed it so much. The interior is no frills and very clean. There is a waiting area for observation. The instructor/owner was very patient & encouraging providing tips to improve his swing & grip. It was apparent it had a positive outcome. My daughter was amazed at how much he had progressed from the first lesson. My grandson absolutely enjoys it and he hit the ball really well. I was so proud of him. I can tell he has a great rapport with his instructor. My daughter wants to continue these lessons as long as my grandson desires. As his grandma (I may be biased) I came away impressed.

Love that kind of customer service. The check-in process was quick and easy and then it was off to the practice facilities. From the driving range, chipping area, which included well kept bunkers, and the putting green, it was incredible. Some of the nicer practice facilities I've seen. As for the course itself, it was in really good shape. Not gonna lie, not knowing the course, it chewed me up pretty good. People who knew the course definitely had the advantage that day. There are a ton of elevation changes, elevated tees, and the greens were quick. It took me a while, but I finally started rolling putts much better on the back nine. I would love to blame the course for my high score that day, but I know better. Lol. In full transparency, at times a few holes felt gimmicky, but I think that just comes down to my own personal preference. It's an expensive golf course but you are getting a quality golf experience when playing at Journey. The GPS on our cart did not work for the front nine which was a bummer, but when we made the turn, they happily traded carts for us and got us up and running. The staff really did make this course stand out. I'd be happy to play there again.

We came on a Tuesday for a 9:20 AM tee time and the course was busy already. However, we teed off right on time and, because it was our first time, probably played a slower round but still finished under 4 and half hours with no one in front of us. If you are new, it is helpful to have at least seen the course map to get a general idea of where to go as this is a course with three different 9s. We played creek and Stonehouse and they were both solid. The course was in nice condition and it seem like someone pissed off the superintendent of the course because the greens were fast and it seemed like every hole was on a slope With a cart, the round was roughly a hundred bucks a person which, seems to match the going rate these days to play a round of golf. This was with a seperate cart fee so that's something to be mindful about. This is a course I have passed by on the 15 for years and I'm glad I had a chance to play it. Definitely worth checking out at least once.

Starter super friendly allowed us to tee off about 10 minutes early since there were t anyone behind us. The green is very well maintained and it's such a fun and challenging lay out. In additional to that, there is no reception or signal in your phone. The perfect course to be unplugged and focus on you and golf. I will definitely come back and invite my friends for this hidden gem !

There a handful of blind tee and fairway shots so playing with someone familiar with the course was a huge help. The cart girl came by a few times during the round. In order to get ice, you have to buy something from the bar. The starter held people accountable to tee off on their scheduled time, so make sure to show up on time. The unisex bathrooms around the course were pretty gross, had stains on the floor and smelled. There is GPS on the cart, but it's pretty outdated. Note: Cell service on the entire course is non-existent and the WiFi provided wasn't very reliable.

Really nice clubhouse, very nice restrooms, clean and stocked. Full bar and restaurant. First things all golfers like to know, can we take carts to parking lot. Nope. But there's a bag drop, so that makes things easier. Now about the carts. No GPS, but there are coolers (see the bar staff for ice), and no Bluetooth (I'm sure the surrounding homes appreciate this). Starter gets things going smoothly so you wont experience 10 minute wait times on tee boxes. Now for the course, it's really nice! Hazards, like trees and bunkers, keep things exciting but playable. The Palms course has water here and there, but easy to avoid, except for number 11. Greens roll true but fast and are very well maintained. Do yourself a favor and play here, great price, great fun, you wont be disappointed.

Riley was super accommodating and very friendly. The sim was great and as accurate as you would expect a trackman to be. They have the upgraded overhead trackman which shows your club path and ball contact point which was great for helping out with adjustments. Will defiantly be coming back with my clubs as a regular in the future.

I'm new to the sport (about a year playing with 9 rounds under my belt) so I tend to feel out of place hitting up a new place. There are 3 Bays in the facility and tons of room for everyone to come along and have fun!! I recommend grabbing a partner for the 2's tournament nights on Friday's.
