I visited Musashi's on a Monday around noon and was the first customer of the day. There was only one other takeout order during my meal. Ordering was easy via a giant tablet, though you can also use a QR code at your table. The restaurant is mostly self-serve, but staff do bring the food to your table. I enjoyed the Musashi roll (a California roll topped with spicy tuna, spicy mayo, Tobiko, and green onion). The spicy tuna portion was generous, and the roll was very filling. The fresh salmon roll was delicious, and the eel had good flavor as well. Overall, Musashi's offers good value and speedy service, with tasty rolls that hit the spot. read more

Happy to have a tasty local sushi place. I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. Sushi is tasty. The complimentary tea is not- it tastes like it's made with dirty rice water. Smallish dining area and clean. Not really a full service dining experience, there are QR codes to order at the table or a screen at the counter. I couldn't find some of the menu items on the ordering screen so someone took my order in person. We like coming here for a quick bite. read more

Second time coming here. First time I ordered the spicy tuna rolls and unagi. Today I came back and ordered pickup through the Door Dash app. I wanted to order more unagi but couldn't through door dash. I got the eel rolls instead and spicy albacore rolls. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. My first trip here, I think they must have just opened. Tonight there were several tables filled with guests so it has gained some popularity. The order was delayed byminutes from the original pickup time given. My order was missed. Quickly made order for me. Good service. read more

Nice, clean place. Musashi's recently opened on the Ridge so had to check it out. We ordered the Special Bento and Sushi Nigiri. The bento box came with two meat skewers served over rice. Not heavily seasoned but still quite tasty. There's also some grilled veggies which were quite tasty, and then some sort of salad which I didn't particularly care for The best part of the bento box was the multiple pieces of sashimi- so good. The sushi nigiri lunch box was delicious. We've been regulars at the Factoria and Redmond locations for many years, so we were extremely thrilled to have Musashi's make their way over to our neighborhood. On most days, the food is just as good, if not better, with generous portions of delicious fish, well seasoned warm rice and a couple of super friendly guys behind the counter. My only issue with this location has been consistency. There are days when everything has been near perfect, and there are days when it's been a mega-miss. The restaurant location is still quite new so I'm hoping this gets better over time. The Chirashi Bowl, Nigiri Set, and Salmon Collar are all fantastic and make up our usual order. The staff is very accommodating with substitutions if you ask for them and will also do so graciously and with a smile. Try it out when you're in the area. read more

Ok who lied? Or maybe this how the mainland does sushi I don't know. I saw the reviews and thought to give it shot. Coming from Hawai'i a girl misses her rice. I ordered Shrimp Tempura roll, Unagi, chicken skewer, Maguro, Ebi and Hamachi. The fish previously frozen which when down well is doable but, this one had zero flavor tasted funny. The unagi dry and no sauce...the chicken ok but super tiny. They asked if I wanted tea I replied "Ocha ... Green tea?" The guy stared at me said corn? I have never had corn tea so I passed. I will say cashier was friendly, establishment was clean but for real the sushi game needs work. Any Kanaka visiting this area please tell me im wrong... Nothing innately offensive about this sushi place. Presentation was great, and the rice had a nice vinegar taste (which unfortunately, many places fail on). Prices were also incredibly reasonable: all this for around $33 before tip. They provided us free hot tea which was also very nice. Food came out pretty fast too and ambiance was simple. Fish quality is where we were a bit taken aback. Everything was quite fishy (especially the tuna), which may be indication that it wasn't entirely fresh. The tamago sushi was also not sweet enough, but that can be easily resolved with a little addition of sugar. I think for the price this was perfectly reasonable however, and if you want to eat sushi on a budget, this spot is not bad at all. read more

The valley has needed something that offers fresh fish (not the one location we have to choose from in the NB strip mall). Had an opportunity to try the chirashi bowl and spicy sake Maki, and both were so dang fresh. The rice was perfection. So pumped to have an option for chirashi bowls. The don't currently have the opportunity to sell alcohol, but I believe this is approaching soon. Food alone is 5 star. I think they need to live-n up the vibe, but I know they just opened. We are huge fans of Musashi's from Wallingford to Factoria. Third time here at the Snoqualmie location yesterday and another letdown. Service has been routinely subpar. I ordered a noodle salad and a chirashi bowl to go with two substitutions. The person taking my order made it abundantly clear that this is a huge inconvenience for him. It's 2pm on a weekday, past lunch hour, and there is only one table of four dining in. It took over 15min to get my order, without a bag. That's ok, new location, new servers. More importantly, the fish was not typical Musashi's quality. It did not look fresh, the cuts were small, and the unagi was dry. But hey, I was hungry and running. Fast forward three hours, food poisoning... Not a good experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Musashi's but we will personally be avoiding this location moving forward. read more

We love and regularly go to the original Musashi's in Wallingford. This has everything we love about Musashi's in a new larger space to the background of K-Pop music. The folks who work there are always nice. Sometimes this place even has otoro (fatty tuna) which is a must-try! All of the sushi is large pieces of super fresh fish. If you like to go ski at Snoqualmie this is a perfect place to stop by on the way - it's less than 10 minutes off I-90! read more

Musashi's on the Ridge!!! Where have I been, living under a rock? One of my favorite sushi restaurants opens in my backyard and I'm not aware until 3 months later! Used to hit up their Bellevue location and I had to just try this location out. Needless to say it did not disappoint. I've always felt that Musashi's Chirashi Bowl was the thing to get off their menu to get the most bang for your buck. You get a good variety of generous cuts of sashimi. Let me just say I was so beyond excited to have sushi out in Snoqualmie! However it came at a cost. We have been here twice and each time the sushi/nigri and rolls have been awful. It's not fresh fish and I swear each of my rolls with tuna topping was from a can. Will continue to order from japonessa and aji going forward. Hope some changes can be made. read more

When i walked into Musashis it was smaller than expected. There was about 7 tables that you could sit at. The guy at the register was on a call so we had to wait a minute to learn if you sit and look at the menu first or to order straight away. There was no menu signs just little ones at every table. Once they guy was off the phone we were told to go sit and look at the menus. Once we were seated, we browsed the menus for a little bit until we found the perfect dishes. We ordered and sat for about 10 minutes until we got our first dish's. we didn't order miso soup, but it came along with the experience. It came along with some dishes that we ordered- teriyaki chicken and seaweed salad. The miso soup was very hot at first, but once it cooled down it was scrumptious! The seaweed salad but amazing! The teriyaki chicken was that warm but wonderful! After a little bit of time, the edamame, kapa-maki (cucumber rolls), veggie rolls, and california rolls arrived. The edamame was coated in a nice layer of salt that gave it so much flavor-very good! I devoured that kapa-maki-best sushi out there! The veggie rolls were interesting-but still good! I don't eat shrimp (these are made with shrimp but you can order them without!) so i didn't trey the california rolls-but i heard they're good! Visiting for an event and ordered takeout. My food wasn't quite ready so they offered me warming hot tea while I waited. The food was simple and delicious! The grilled skewers (veggie, chicken and beef) were flavorful and had just the perfect grilled taste. Rice in the bento box was spot on, and the grilled rice balls (yaki onigiri) are a must.
