I passed by this place multiple times and decided to finally stop in and try. I ordered the shoyu ramen and added corn, and was a little underwhelmed. I didn't find the broth to be as seasoned or flavorful as I'm used to. It was very clear tasting, but not as rich as some I've tried. As far as ramen goes, it was fine but I won't go out of my way to come back here (plus this lot is always hit or miss if you can find parking, so that in itself is a deterrent).

Friendly service and delicious ramen. Broth was so flavorful. Generous noodle portion, wished there was more protein but egg was perfectly cooked. Issaquah was missing a place like this. Good for families.

We noticed this newly opened ramen place while driving in the area last week and came to try it over the weekend. We ordered a chicken katsu curry and the classic tonkotsu ramen. The curry had actual potato and carrot chunks in it and the chicken katsu was crispy and the egg was beautifully done. We only wished there was a little more curry sauce in the dish. The ramen broth was delicious and we loved all the toppings it came with. We will definitely be back!

A newly opened ramen shop that completely exceeded my expectations. The black garlic tonkotsu ramen features a rich, flavorful broth. As with traditional Japanese style, the sliced pork is meant to be soaked in the soup first--warm, tender, and melting in your mouth. The curry chicken cutlet is excellent as well. The Japanese curry is mild rather than spicy, with a smooth, well-balanced flavor. The chicken cutlet is crispy, and the fried egg is soft and silky. The takoyaki is delicious, and the pickled cucumbers are refreshing and appetizing. The service is warm and friendly, and the environment is clean and well-kept.

This is my fav ramen spot!! It's so cozy on the inside and a great ambience. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. I love their Takoyaki, classic tonkatsu ramen and the katsu don is very authentic! The food is always hot and fresh. I will definitely be back!

The udon was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely come back.

Not very authentic Japanese ramen, and the soup is not hot enough. Also, the service is so so.

The ramen noodles were great, I ordered them 'firm' and it was spot on. The biggest surprise was the Chashu Pork & Takana Donburi, absolutely delicious! However, we arrived just before 10p on a Monday night and the line was down the street. We waited an hour and ended up not getting in due to seating ending at 10:45p. The hostess would check in periodically, and up to the last 15 mins said we had a 50/50 shot of getting seated. The alternative was to get take-out. There were a couple other groups also in the same boat. Overall, the wait time after submitting our take-out order was around 15 mins for 2 ramen. We ordered the classic ramen, extra spicy, and I added an egg to mine. On the card you use to select your order, you can choose the type of noodle, richness of broth, spice level, add-ins, and beverages. There is a separate vegan menu with lots of options to choose from. The ramen was delicious. The broth was rich and full of flavor and the noodles were cooked just right. The meat was tender and egg was perfectly jammy. I get the hype, but I wouldn't go after 9p again for my own sanity and time.

Perfect dishes for the day, warm and so yummy. We had a Tan Tan shrimp and a Tonkatsu, with no additions although it was tempting to amend! The ramen broth is very rich and each was different. You have the option to add sesame oil, chili oil, a delicious soy sauce, 3 kinds of pepper in shakers and a fresh grind of sesame seeds. The egg is cooked to perfection - whites solid and the yolk mostly cooked with the center soft and creamy. A small dish of edamame is served as an appetizer. The staff are friendly and the food was served by the chef with a smile. We enjoyed watching the dishes being created. You might have a wait on a busy day but it is definitely worth it.

Nestled behind the main walking areas, you can follow the street signs to this restaurant. We arrived just before they opened for the evening from 4:30pm. It is not a large restaurant but we were early. Bright and cheerful interior with shelves of Japanese sweets and some souvenirs on the side. Our favorite and go-to is the tonkotsu which has the thicker pork bone broth. We have not visited for a year or so and the price has gone up while the volume seemed to have gone down. Nevertheless the taste was great and we were satisfied with the meal.

We ordered the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, Spicy Negi Ramen (level 4 hot), an order of Gyoza, and an appetizer order of Karaage Chicken. Both of our Ramen bowls were absolutely delicious!! I'm used to eating very authentic Ramen when I lived in San Diego so this was a first for being in this area. It was a great portion size, beautiful presentation and everything tasted so good. I think the egg could've been cooked a little bit less so it would be not so well done so to speak, but it was delicious still. Also, the chicken appetizer was a good, but not as flavorful as some Karaage Chicken I have had. I probably wouldn't order that one again even though it was good, just lacked flavor and was a bit grisly. The service was outstanding. They are very kind and very attentive. The place is very clean. The bathrooms are nicely stocked and very clean as well. The lobby is beautiful and we will definitely be back!

The ramen tasted great but not impressive or memorable enough for me to drive all the way back to Federal Way. I dined in solo and actually didn't finish the ramen or even remember exactly what I ordered. I'm guessing it's the spicy negi. The broth was spicy and enjoyable but definitely didn't taste any different compared to other ramen places I've been to. I tend to eat slow to savor my food, but I felt like the staff was overattentive and frequently stopped by my table to ask if everything was okay. Gave me the vibe that they needed to keep themselves busy or I was taking up a table. Might be great for other customers but it affected my experience with dining in; I usually finish my meals at restaurants but I felt rushed so I just ended up bringing the ramen home for my son, after the second or third time of them asking me if I wanted a takeout box. I'm still giving 4 stars just because the ramen tasted better than mediocre, less than spectacular. I just have high expectations for ramen and prefer more broth/topping variety (I was raised in Cali with options i dearly miss). Plus, I do like that they added a full egg for the ramen (instead of half an egg, like other restaurants I've been to) and the chasu portions were fair. I haven't tried any other ramen places in Federal Way (if there are any), but I guess if this is one of the better options (according to Yelp), it might be worth a shot to try out?
