Everyone I spoke to was really nice, and I was able to get my flute serviced quickly. The instrument repair person is there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They did a pretty good job, but definitely didn't polish my flute, which I was kind of disappointed about, especially since I asked it to be thoroughly cleaned (this was also indicated on my service ticket they typed up). I was able to polish it myself after I got it back with a silver polishing cloth that I had to purchase. They have a huge variety of instruments, accessories, and books! It does seem to be more catered to guitars/percussion, but they still had a decent selection for woodwinds and brass. They also have tons of teachers that do private lessons. I will definitely be returning if I need anymore repairs done, as they did a nice job with those!

While I was in town visiting my son, he mentioned that there was a music store not far from us that he'd like to visit. I wasn't prepared for the size of this place-it's far more than just a "music store." He had a gleeful look of awe as he admired the selection of brass instruments and was able to play a few of them too. He'll be ready to make a purchase soon, so he wants to know for sure which one is just right. If you don't quite know what you're looking for, or need some elevated service, you might find someone, you might not. It's a more laid-back approach to customer service-we had to seek someone out for help. But I suppose I prefer that over an in-your-face sales person trying to close a deal.

If you rent a violin it comes with rosin, shoulder rest and a shoulder strap to carry the violin case. If you know you want to have an instrument for years then buying it is the best option but if you're not sure then renting is the way to go, as well as rent to own. Their lobby area has a couch and a couple chairs. It can feel a bit cozy when there are many people. It seems like a popular place towards closing time on Saturday. Staff were friendly.

Love this place - the work they did on my Bass was nothing short of a miracle…read more The owner is kinda sorta weird in an eccentric way and his wife gets nervous when entering the shop but the work they do rebuilding wood instruments is top notch. I personally know musicians in other states a that will ship their prized possession here just to get it repaired and tuned. Don't expect immediate turn around; good work takes time but the rewards of getting it done right the first time will pay dividends for years to come.

We had an $1100 credit from renting all these years, and it finally paid off. I love that the money you are spending every month to rent can go toward purchasing an instrument one day. This was perfect because she outgrew several violas throughout the years and plus you never know if your kid is going to stick with playing the instrument. Now that she is pretty much full grown and had already committed to playing orchestra her last two years of high school, it was an awesome feeling to BUY her viola that she can love and cherish. One of them is no longer playing an instrument. The customer service is good. Sometimes they are slow if they're busy. And that's because they are giving each customer their 100% attention. I like that. They are hassle-free when it come to returns and repairs to. Since we rent, the labor for repairs is free. They will also tune your intrument for free. This is key. When one of my daughter's strings broke off her violin, all I had to do was pay the $1.50 for the string! They replaced it and tuned right on the spot. I bought my husband a keyboard from here a few years ago for Christmas. It was on sale too! Awesome deal! He was very happy with the gift. And I was happy with the price! Great place to go for instruments AND intructions too! Yelp! They offer music lessons and camps in the summer time.
