view of 5th floor riverside! beautiful

Christine was very friendly and welcoming upon check-in. Our river side view room was on the 5th floor and the view is beautiful! Our room was spotless! Very nice rocking chairs on the balcony with no spiders or webs getting all over you. We love the outdoor and indoor pool hours also. That will keep our daughter busy! Breakfast was pretty good also! They had a wide variety of food! We could not be happier with this stay!

Hotel lobby

Great place to stay. The lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas. Our rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfy and the largest bathrooms and best lighting to do hair and makeup in any hotel where we've stayed. The breakfast bar received an okay rating from the family members that tried it. The only downsides were guests talking loudly in the hallway and room doors slamming late at night (not the hotel's fault) and the parking area on backside of hotel wasn't well lit. Bonus: it's located only a couple of blocks off the parkway.

First of all, it's more of just a nice hotel and not a resort. The rooms are larger than average compared to like hotels. Common areas are very large and well-kept also. Due to Covid restrictions there was not breakfast nor any complementary coffee in the lobby, something we have gotten used to. Convenient area, restaurants very close, several to choose from. Also the main drag through the area is very close that gives other options with activities and shopping.

While parked at the Music Road Resort for a 3 night stay, the Catalytic Converter was cut off of my car during the first night. I spent 2 days out of 3 from our vacation dealing with all of the fallout. I don't blame the hotel necessarily, but I do feel they could have been a little more supportive during the ordeal. When I first realized it had happened, I went to the hotel front desk. Their on call manager told me he would look into it on the security footage and call me back. Later that day he called me back and simply said that I need to call the police. I told him my Insurance company had already processed the claim and didn't need a police report but again he said that I needed to call the police now. So I spent the 2nd half of that day talking to the police and giving a statement even though the policeman himself said that they rarely are able to catch anyone from security cameras. The manager told me that they would reach out to me the next day. I never heard back from the manager until 2 days later when it was time to check out and asked to speak with him. The first manager, Angel, was off putting and basically said "sorry for your luck that sucks". I had no expectations of them paying part of the insurance claim, but thought that since I spent literally 2/3 of my vacation dealing with an issue that happened because of a lack of reliable security on their part that they might comp us a night or two to come back during a slow time since we only live an hour away. Angel went to the back and brought back the main manager, John Hogt. He was adamant about saying that if the hotel did "Anything" for me, then that would mean they are assuming liability for the accident and that goes against their policies. For a hotel room that we paid well over $200 per night for I expected better customer service. There's hundreds of places to stay in Pigeon Forge. I've stayed in plenty of hotels there and never had my car burglarized. Ha I told the manager, Jon Hogt, that I was on the fence about our hotel stay. Had my car not been burglarized to the tune of about $2000, we would have had a nice time. Even though Mr. Hogt and the hotel were not directly responsible for the theft, they had an opportunity to help make the stay of their guest better and have us as return guests to make future money from us. I told him politely that if the hotel maintains their stance and basically says "tough luck" then I'd have no other choice than to post an honest review of the hotel and let customers know that their car and their valuables are not safe here. They'd be much better finding a bigger chain that knows how to treat their customers. Jon told me that I should go ahead and write the review as he is the person who is in charge of responding to online reviews for the hotel and that he looked forward to reading my review. This hotel treated me and my family like we were a burden because someone sawed a $2000 part off my car in the middle of their parking lot. I will never stay at this hotel again and I will adamantly advise everyone to stay literally anywhere else when you visit the Pigeon Forge area. Holiday Inn would never leave their guests hanging like this in the same situation.

Ask the Community - Music Road Resort Hotel

Look for a dog friendly place to stay for the 13 and 14th of October?

I am not sure if they have availability or take animals but I will say that I got a terrible case of bed bugs when I stayed there earlier this year. Absolutely terrible.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Every interaction was genuinely friendly, fun, and welcoming. The rooms are a good size with an indoor fireplace that adds a nice touch and large bathrooms. They have outdoor balconies overlooking the shopping area or river - which was great for seeing nature (geese, beavers, herons). Facilities are nice with a good sized gym and large rooftop pool and hot tub overlooking the Ferris wheel. The roof has plenty of lounge chairs and the chill bar with great staff that will bring your orders (food included) to your chair. The hotel is pet-friendly and has an indoor fireplace-house restaurant and bar (Fins) with an outdoor patio. It also has an onsite Starbucks. While pricey, the amenities, room size, great staff, and location made it worth it! We've already started talking about our next visit!

The bathroom had a vent with tons of rust, the paint was chipped all over the walls. Beat up and scuffed furniture. The patios were sad and depressing. The patio door was broken and did not lock. The view is "sad creek with creepy parking lot." The hotel also gives a complimentary margarita coupon to guests. We do not drink alcohol. When I went to the bar I asked the manager if we could trade it in for a non-alcoholic margarita or NA beer and they said no, only alcoholic margaritas. How ridiculous! Not even a freaking mocktail margarita! After staying at the Gatlinburg resort property this was a huge let down. We have since learned they are two different franchise owners. Suffice to say, we were going to stay two nights. We paid for two and after one night we left and booked a room at the Gatlinburg location instead. That's how bad it was.

Got there around 10:00 and the room was ready. Great! Got to room and it was pretty small and filthy (table had crumbs/sticky, not vacuumed etc). Went back to the front desk and she offered to switch to same room for no charge or upgrade to a slightly bigger room for $20/night. We opted for that option since as a family of four, more space is worth the cost for us. We got to that room and again, not the cleanest and there was pubic hairs on the bathroom floor which basically sealed the deal mentally nothing good would happen. Because this was a timeshare offer we called them and finally after we left and had lunch they just put us in another room. They did refund the $60 and gave us three breakfast vouchers for each day but even this room was not clean to what "Hilton" standards should be even though the manager walked through the room personally. In the end, this made it very easy to say no to the timeshare presentation as their excuse was Hilton bought the property just a year ago so they aren't all up to standard yet. The lobby was beautiful, the pool area looked nice but my kids said the water was freezing. I would never pay for the $17 dollar breakfast as it's basically the same free stuff you get at every other hot continental breakfast. Basically, you couldn't pay me to stay here again.

If you want a room facing the river, you have to ask for that in your reservation (they have rooms facing the river, and other rooms facing the parking lot). We stayed in a river-facing room, and it was great. Staff were all very friendly and I will most definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises. It definitely delivers on the cozy atmosphere and river views -- and yes, there are plenty of geese to remind you you're by the water! Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a nice 24/7 drink bar with instant coffee and tea, plus another bar with juice and tea options during breakfast and again in the evenings (7-10). Small touches like that were a nice surprise. As for the room, it was a good size and overall comfortable. The beds were great, though I did notice housekeeping service declined a bit as the week went on. Towels varied in softness, and the complimentary toiletries were below average -- I'd recommend bringing your own. For a listed 3-star hotel, I'd rate it closer to 2.5 stars. The property is clean and cozy, but for the price point, it could use a few tune-ups. That said, I'd stay here again, especially if you're traveling with family or kids. The pool and hot tub area are nice, and the continental breakfast was fairly decent. Tip: If you're staying on the first floor near rooms 110-120, you might want to request a different area unless you're an early riser -- hallway noise can be noticeable from people coming and going in the morning.

Wowowowow, where do I start?!…read more Pigeon Forge is a mountainous Vegas-like touristy town. There are tons of hotels, some are great and others...not so much. Those great hotels are often going to cost a pretty penny while those more affordable ones are going to be a bit rough around the edges. So where can you stay in Pigeon Forge that isn't going to hurt the bank account while giving you a relaxing stay? Well look no further...Twin Mountain Inn & Suites is excellent AND affordable! I'm a Hotels member and when I saw Twin Mountain Inn and Suites' 5 star reviews, I was curious, especially because at the time, the rates were about $97/night AND pets are only $20/night. Not only that, the room had a river view with a balcony, fireplace, and free parking. Now, I've kept this hotel on the backburner on my account. Last time we visited Pigeon Forge, we stayed at Drury and spent so much more on a "Mountain View" that overlooked the parking structure. So, this time, I decided to go with my instinct and book with Twin Mountain. Boy, am I glad we did!! We stayed on the third floor. Don't let the cover of a book fool you. The parking is easy but can get full pretty quickly, true. However, the room was probably on of the cleanest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good water pressure (albeit, no conditioner or body wash-just a small packaged bar of soap. There were two small bottles of shampoo). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I also liked that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and one just outside of it (vanity). This was convenient for two people. The AC/heater was powerful, too. The fireplace is timed and creates a cozy atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the river was peaceful and there were two plastic chairs and a little table out there to sit and enjoy the view of ducks and geese. Twin Mountain Inn and Suites is close to the strip but away from the flashing lights and noise. It's a great location! Breakfast is included and had biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, sausage, fruit, cereal, and one waffle maker. There's fresh coffee and a juice machine, too. It was a tight squeeze as it was very busy for 7:30am so I decided to get one biscuit and gravy, two sausages, and a yogurt to take back to the room, which were all very good. There's a drink vending machine outside of the lobby and one near the parking lot. The elevator was convenient and they also had luggage trolleys, too. This was an outstanding stay for one night and I wish it had been longer. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend staying with Twin Mountain Inn & Suites for your next stay in Pigeon Forge.

I don't know what it's called but you'll hear your fair share of walk up songs bright and early if you stay on the backside of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable in my opinion. I have an achy hip and leg most days and even my own bed kills me. This bed had me sleeping like a baby, even with my four year old beside me. We arrived at almost 11pm and the staff was nice and welcoming and there was tea and coffee available in the lobby. True by Hilton is known for being a no-frills less expensive Hilton experience, but our room had a small refrigerator and it was well outfitted . My only complaint.. .zero dressers for storage space.
