This is the least professional business I have ever dealt with. I tried to consign some equipment with them and everything was shady at best: 1. I was never asked what I wanted to sell things for, only told that they would sell for x amount. 2. I was never notified when things sold unless I drove to the store (no one answers the phone, and I have multiple phone records to prove this) and physically waited for someone to show up. 3. I was never shown any receipts of what things were sold for just a "i think it sold for this much" 4. Their "business hours" are literally just numbers on a door, the doors never open on time. 5. There are 0 price tags on any of the items. This means they can sell things for what they want and turn around and tell folks that have equipment consigned they it sold for considerably less. They pocket the rest. 6. There is a wall of filled out consignment slips behind the cash register which means nothing consigned is getting sold! 7. One piece of equipment that I consigned that I noticed was no longer on the sales floor, the owner told me the sales guy was "borrowing" for a gig. He "does that from time to time with some of the equipment". 8. The consignment "paperwork" was initially done on the back of a business card. That should have been a warning sign for me, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. While I have to give the owner credit for being the shrewdest businessman I've ever dealt with (he undercut me by $150 when i needed to sell everything to them due to me moving) the whole experience cost me more in gas money and wasted time than what I was able to make from the equipment I tried to sell. It's very unfortunate that I have to write this, and also given the previous bad review on here, it makes complete sense. For anyone that wants to consign equipment, make the extra trip elsewhere. If you're looking to buy, I would definitely bring someone that can negotiate well. I genuinely think these people mean well, they just run a business that is all based on their "word". read more

I made a rookie mistake. Went in tonight to try to sell a friends marching band drum collection. Drums were in great shape. Was offered $100 as supposedly owner wasn't familiar with those kind of drums. Had driven 30 mins to store. Figured he knew what he was talking about (rookie mistake). Left and called friend who owned the drums to find out he recently paid $500 for 10 drums. Called the store owner 45 mins later and he said he had already sold them. Sorry but I don't believe that for one second. Offered to buy them back as didn't sign any agreement and he said within 20 mins he called a friend who came and paid $200 for drums. Was totally screwed over and will NEVER recommend that store to anyone!! read more

Not the biggest store, but a decent selection of used, affordable equipment! Always fun to check out the newest vintage items, especially vintage amps. Friendly employee and owner. This is my first choice, over corporate owned super-stores....for strings and new gear. Got a really good deal on a couple of axes, on two occasions....from the owner. I have always been on a low budget, so it's a bonus when I can stretch my dollar :) Worse thing is the hours, they open later....and have been closed during open hours a few times. This comes with a smaller business though. I would trust them if interested in selling equipment, and if buying.....definitely check them out. Rock on!! A+ read more

This store is awesome if your looking for good quality used and sometimes new musical instruments or if you need to sell an instrument that is no longer being used. Robert, the store's owner is extremely knowledgeable in all band related instruments, as a professional key board player, he knows his business inside out. He will work with you and for you to make sure you get a great deal. I've always had fantastic customer service whenever dealing with him. No, I don't work for him, but I am always ready to give positive comments and of course negative reviews as well whenever called for by the service rendered. Was talking to my wife to find new keyboard for our kids. We found this business. My wife said she waited 45 mins for someone to show up. Based on the negative reviews, doesn't sound like business I could trust to find right gift for. Sorry but negative reviews have a tendency to sway me since it's hard to believe good reviews aren't fabricated. read more

NO RETURN POLICY AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I read all the previous reviews. So on my sons birthday, I took him there to get a bass amp/speaker. The guy was about 30 min late getting there. He should us a Peavy Amp and a bass speaker the he proudly talked about putting it together himself and that it would last a life time. He wanted CASH not card. THE SPEAKER DID NOT LAST THREE WEEKS. I called him up and he said there is nothing he could do, but charge me to fix it, (HE BUILT IT) he would not replace it. EVEN A PAWN SHOP HAS 30 days. read more
