Madison Fisher was the employee working when we stopped in. He was super friendly, very helpful, informative, and generally a cool guy. He helped my daughter pick out a whole package and gave her some helpful tips and spoke to both her and me, which was so nice. This little shop has a lot of equipment, both new and used. LOTS of choices at different price points. We were both super impressed by the service. She has learned a few songs and is looking forward to growing and learning even more songs to play.

Never going to deal with them again, they said my account is rent to rent, not rent to own, and i stated this account over 3 years ago and i know picked rent to own, and they didnt even ask me that question because we originally returned it then went back to rent it again, and the second time they didnt even ask me and they are saying i cant use my $1660 dollars towards purchasing a cello, when they keep sayin i can use that money towards a new cello..... they dont know what they are talking about and they keep hiding behind eachother its disgusting. Not only did they have the getting hard to find Fender Mustang Micro guitar headphone amp, but discounted from list $119 to $99. Sales person Francisco was great, sale had just ended but display case still had the sale price so he honored it like all stores should. By the way, this little Fender Mustang Micro is an amazing little guitar headphone amp & it's rechargeable instead of eating up batteries...

The Martin Jr in stock was hanging with the other guitars was ready to play & she set me up to try it out. They had a good selection Martin accessories including a good assortment of guitar strings including the Martin brand so I also bought a spare set of the Martin LifeSpan Phosphor Bronze Light strings. I was short on time so did not get a chance to fully take in the ambience & experience of Dan & Sara's music store, but reading up on Crossroads before hand on their website & stepping into their store, I felt the warm embrace of some good vibes, and appreciate their community involvement in local music events in this very charming waterfront town. I like contributing to local businesses so I not only walked away with a very nice Martin acoustic electric guitar, it felt rewarding to give back. I hope to explore more of the Washington peninsula & look forward taking more time visiting Port Townsend & Crossroads Music.

The owners were friendly and helpful and encouraged trying out different ideals. (I loved the wonderful KK baritone) and gave useful and helpful tips on restringing. The staff were nice enough to donate a piece of rosin for the library's instrument, and helped replace the string, and tuned afterwards. :)

He has done an awesome job in regulating the action and making the piano sound great. He's very friendly and obviously has a passion for what he does. This is our first time using Pianova Piano Service because our prior piano technician moved away…read more I was extremely pleased. The technician, Ryan, is meticulous in his cleaning and tuning. Before he started, we had a discussion about what I expected, including "strict" or "loose" tuning of the bass notes. When he finished, the piano was immaculately clean, the hammers voiced, and tuning perfect. In addition, Ryan is friendly and clearly loves his job. Piano tuning doesn't get any better than this.

Beware taking an instrument for repair. I took an older horn and knew what needed to be fixed…read more The repair technicians came back with the answer that it needed a re-pad for $200, and offered me no other options. The horn was gone for over a week, and I had to wait for another week for it to get back from Tacoma before I could pick it up. Being a band director for 10 years, learning instrument repair from one of the best flute builders on the east coast and being a musician for 30 years qualifies me to know that a $200 re pad was not the only option for this horn thta had two leaky pads. The shop its self was OK for supplies, but don't use this chain for repairs. There are several stores that come up in an internet search, and they all end up at the same website. If you have to, talk to your child's band director first to see what needs to be done. You may be charged lots of money you don't need to pay.

I like sitting in the building while they have lessons and listening to one of the very talented vocal teachers as well as the other instruments we have heard playing (guitar, flute, etc.). Convenient location and parking isn't hard to find. The building isn't shiny and new but it has what you need. :)
