One of the fanciest bars I've ever been to! Excellent service from very friendly and cool bartenders.

Stopped by District Bar and Kitchen for a late lunch/early dinner on a beautiful spring day…read more The temperature outside was pleasant and so my dining companion and I opted for lunch on their patio. We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

Server recommended the Double Smash Burger a favorite among the locals who frequent, so I went with that and added truffle fries as my side. My wife ordered the brunch special Super French Toast. Both dishes we good but I would say my Burger shined with 5 stars the Super French toast good but average nothing stood out 3 Service was good and we enjoyed ourselves we both recommend you trying this out for yourself as we will be back again to further delve into the depth of the District menu

Everything I've had at Elevation has been great and the prices fair, well as fair for what you get. Food tastes fresh. I'd rather go to a locally owned restaurant like Elevation that cooks your food there, than a chain restaurant where food is prepared in a factory and then reheated. Recently saw they were now serving Breaded Pork Loin sandwiches and had those when visiting friends in Indiana and loved it, so had to try it. Elevation did it great! Though I neglected to ask for more yellow mustard and pickles. I've had two of their mixed drinks and they're too good. One is all I can handle, but they taste so good, you want more.

Table top look worn (scratches and scuffs), menus had dried on product (they're laminated so no excuse for not cleaning). our server was nice and gave a few suggestions when asked. we ordered 2 of her recommendations. we waited for what felt like a longer time than expected for meals (especially with how empty dining room was). the blackened citrus salmon looked good, but we found the seasoning on it extremely salty. fortunately we could cut the skin off which removed the majority of the offensive (to us) seasoning. our other meal was the halibut and seafood on risotto. this meal was served lukewarm, the scallops were very chewy, and unlike the other meal which came with asparagus, had no vegetables. the 1 redeeming piece to this meal was the decent sized portions of lobster in the risotto. with prices in the mid to upper $30s a plate, we had higher hopes for a nice dinner out.

Great atmosphere here. Service was pretty good. As to be expected in a crazy place like this. If it's during the day, tube floaters, paddle boarders, and small boats pass by making for some fun entertainment. However, the food and service are really lacking but has been for years. And it really doesn't matter...due to the atmosphere, people will continue to come here no matter what! It's literally that great! If you are at the bar ordering a drink due to the fact you will wait for a table, no matter the time of day...Do not get stung by the huge amount of bees that surround the soda station and the right side of the bar. I understand that the bartenders and servers are busy but service and attitudes are to the extreme! I think that businesses forget to tell their employees...people are PAYING to eat here. Most on vacation and don't want an attitude. But again, due to the atmosphere...most people will overlook the attitudes. Anyway, the food is severely lacking. We are locals and have eaten here many a time. Just remember the prices on the menu are not because the food and service are amazing...it's because of the atmosphere. P.s. please stop serving glass to people who are drinking and heading to the water.

April 2026 I…read moreselected Remington's for my mother's birthday because I wanted to give her an evening worthy of the occasion. Celebrating one's mother properly can sometimes be difficult to do, and I wanted everything to feel thoughtful, elegant, and memorable. Steve, the manager, played an important role in making that happen, and I remain sincerely grateful for his kindness and attention to detail. Although our party was only three, we were given a beautiful table in the back that felt private, comfortable, and perfectly suited for the evening. We still enjoyed the lively energy from the nearby bar while having a quieter space of our own to celebrate. It struck the ideal balance between atmosphere and intimacy. Hailey was our primary server and was training George that evening, which meant we benefited from the care of two attentive and friendly servers. Service moved smoothly throughout the night and never felt rushed. The food was, for the most part, delicious, with steaks and dishes that reflected the restaurant's reputation for quality. There was one minor issue with my own steak, which had more butter than I would have preferred, but it was far too small a matter to overshadow the purpose of the night. What mattered most was seeing my mother genuinely happy and enjoying herself. That meant the world to me, and to her as well. My thanks to Steve, Hailey, George, and the Remington's team for helping create a birthday celebration I will remember with gratitude... and so will my mother.

I think the food was superior and the staff was great behind the bar. I do love the decor as it is very much equestrian in a classy way. As for the waitstaff in the restaurant, a bit more training on the menu might be advised. When asking for a recommendation I was recited the entire menu. Really??? The host was less than personable. This is the first and usually the last person to greet and thank their customers. Neither occurred when I was there. I have been there three times. I plan on going back again. I hope this time they will have beer for my brother as that is all he drinks. Maybe some local or specialty ones. The noise level was high all three times I was there. That can only be helped by doing something with the acoustics and adding sound dampeners. I look forward to giving them another try. I am hoping the host station will improve as well as the training of the waitstaff. I hope they are around for a long time and I wish them much luck.
