I had a Margarita flatbread that came on a wooden board. My colleague had the burger. My flatbread was good. The flavor was very good, it was a bit too floppy for me and cut into thin strips. The burger was large and came with a choice of side: she ordered the bacon creamed corn. I tasted it but I didn't think the bacon added much. Not bad, but not amazing. It was nice to have the drink options for both menus. I found a couple of local beers; more Georgia beer options would be nice. read more

We had the best lunch after church with my parents at Bar(n) Booze and Bites in Dunwoody. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a fun find! They have a huge patio surrounded by food trucks, lounge chairs, and even a giant projector screen--I can already tell it's going to be the perfect spot during football season.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What's really cool is you can order from both the Bar(n) Booze and Bites menu AND Morty's Meat & Three, so there's truly something for everyone. I went with the Side Hustle which lets you pick 3 sides. I chose the sidewinder wedges, smoked bacon creamed corn, and crispy brussel sprouts--and honestly, I'd come back just for that creamed corn alone! We started with the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, and they were perfectly cheesy and crispy. My mom loved her Rotisserie Chicken Bowl with za'atar, yogurt, and spicy red chili relish--so flavorful. My husband ordered the Prime Rib Sliders, which were very tasty (though the au jus could've used a bit more punch). They have great wine and cocktails, good beer selections. My guest noted that it was, "old money Dunwoody" which sort of sums it up nicely. There is a food truck/trailer and a kitchen I think, but it seems like the menu we were given was for the food truck. Not sure how that works. Our food was served in cardboard containers which was a little strange since we were inside, not outside, but maybe on the weekends they only use the trailer? Not sure. We were at the bar and I had a direct line of sight to the trailer so I saw our food being walked in and sort of wondered if the food would still be hot given it was pretty chilly outside. The bacon wrapped dates were smaller than the standard size tootsie roll, and wrapped TIGHT. They looked weird. They looked like something left over from a circumcism. I was pretty grossed out and felt like I was doing something wrong by even looking at them. This says more about me than the bacon wrapped dates, but whatever. My date ate them up with no problem whatsoever, thought it was funny (but didn't disagree with my assessment). They also have some swag for sale, and we got a couple of the "Funwoody" T-shirts, which my date mentioned, after we left, also was a little phallic. WINNER WINNER PRIME RIB DINNER | tfw you stop in for a quick drink and snack but end up staying for the prime rib dinner... literally me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were looking for a spot near home to grab a yummy boozy drink (but not just beer) and could also bring the pup. Barn Booze and Bites was perfect for both![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Frosé All Day and the Spicy-Peach, which were both frozen cocktails, perfect for the hot summer day. They did end up melting pretty quickly in the sun, though. We decided to share the Pigs in a Blanket, which was really just one pig in a blanket, cut into shareable bites. Pretty tasty, though! While sipping our drinks, we noticed some cooks walking to and fro and checking on their prime rib - only to find out it was only available Sunday dinners. Prime rib makes me weak... and watching them cook it only made we weaker. So we decided to split a plate as soon as they started serving it at 5pm - it was on the SLIGHTLY saltier side for my tastes. I came here this weekend and it's interesting because you can choose from their menu, Morty's menu and as a result two bar menus. Really enjoyed my frose from barn menu and Philly cheesesteak from Morty's menu. So this is little establishment tucked away in Dunwoody. It's in a weird shaped shopping area, but it has free parking. It is a lot of stuff around that you can walk to. But a lot of stuff there isn't restaurant or bar related, but there's still a lot in the area once you park. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Of the establishment but I was wrong. There is a little type of courtyard area once you move past the initial bar sitting area. Now there is an inside and an outside set of seats. The inside has standard seats and it has a TV or so that you can watch a game on if you wanted to. The outside has plenty of seats and it leads into the courtyard I mentioned earlier. Now this courtyard area is pretty cool because it has a large projector TV, and it connects with other establishments.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now they're maybe three other establishments that they own so you can go from the the first bar into the 2nd and walk around and sit down in the middle and drink. Everybody was cool and helpful, even though it was closer to closing time, they didn't rush me or anything like that. Last time I went I had a couple of things and headed home. Philly cheese steak egg roll - Now the egg roll situation was pretty good. The egg rolls were okay. Standard fried egg rolls, but the fact that they gave you three full egg rolls was a plus. You know how typically you'll go, get an agro and they'll be small. Or they'll be cut in half and they'll count the half pieces as full pieces. No, you get three full size egg rolls, bigger than what you would get at a standard Chinese food restaurant. As far as that goes, the size helped. They come with a couple of sauces, I wasn't sure of one sauce but the stone ground mustard sauce was really good with them. Barn burger - The barn burger was also pretty good. It was nothing special but it was good, standard double Patty situation. I asked for some mustard and some mayo and I was good to go. I already had some type of sauce on it. The fries came good and crispy, but this is typical bar food. But it was good bar food. I would go back. I would like to see what else they can do as far as the food goes, also, I will go back to walk around the other bars and records that they own in that area. And they actually have festivals and stuff that they promote, in that area as well. So there's really a lot going on in a small area. read more

10/10 The menu is super hard to decide on what you want. Everything is good and I truly mean that, our server had so many fan favorites/local love. We started it out with pork and Mac eggrolls and they were amazing. The staff were super nice and very attentive. Our entrees could've been better, the pulled pork and Brussels combo was seasoned to perfection and was so good. The flatbread is amazing, specifically the mozzarella and pesto one. Everyone working here is very friendly and kind. Our waitress was very sweet. The food and drinks came out quick and worked out very well for us as I had to catch a flight in three hours. The place is a little pricey. I do believe they use high quality ingredients in their food. The cocktails were nice and strong but I will say that there was too much of an orange bitters aftertaste in my OTP cocktail. The "French fries" came from the restaurant next door and were very crispy. Of course they did not advertise it to be like fries but when I ordered fries something that looked and tasted more like wedges were brought out. Still tasted good. Especially with ranch. This is truly a bites spot so don't expect to get full unless you order a lot of food. I really enjoy this spot it has indoor and outdoor seating, on a nice day it is really really nice out there. They have good drinks and the food was delicious, I got 2 orders of the pigs n a blanket they were that good. Also got the cheese and meat board, it came with plenty of different cheeses and meats to choose from along with some sides and they were all just...*chefs kiss*. Perfect addition to the Dunwoody area! This provides a spot for locals to come and have a drink, eat, watch your favorite sporting event, listen to music, or just people watch in the Village. I have been to this location twice now. The first time was for a charity event, which was awesome because they did a community giveback, where a portion of proceeds are donated back to the charity. This was upon research and request from the charity end, but awesome that they were willing to support. The second time was with my family to simply grab a drink and enjoy being outdoors. The first time I came was on a Tuesday, what they call "Tap That Tuesdays." They advertise $5 draft beers and a pretzel & beer cheese for $7. The pretzel with beer cheese was delicious. The second time I came I only got drinks with the family, but was envious of the food that I saw being brought out by the wait staff. The restaurant inside offers snacks (popcorn, dates, deviled eggs), flat breads, cheese and meat boards, a handful of entrees, and a few desserts. The two times that I have been, there has also been a food truck next door - Morty's Meat & Supply, which appears to be affiliated with the Barn in some manner. The wait staff refers to it upon being seated and there are menus on the tables. You also order from your server for the food truck. The food truck offers short rib, prime rib French dip sandwich, elote corn ribs, and a pasta salad. The wait staff is always friendly and efficient and the place is always clean. I look forward to coming back here and trying more items off of the menu. read more

Came here with friends after work and not overly impressed. Took some time for the server to get to us, and then they felt we should have been ready to order when they finally got to us. Mind you, we had to ask multiple times for a menu. Think nice bar but with mediocre, overpriced appetizers and no entrees. The drinks are certainly the draw here, not any of the food items. Flatbreads were very tasty but are they worth $15-16...not so sure. The food truck they had serving $16 sandwiches/poboys was completely overpriced for what you actually got. For the amount of $$$ we spent here, we could have easily gone to the Italian restaurant nearby or the restaurants in The Shops and gotten much better value (and service). read more

We visited Barn Booze n bites on a cool October night. We three ladies arrived for a few cheeky drinks and a gossip sesh. Little did we know we would be gossiped about. We were promptly seated and had our first order taken quickly but let our waitress know we wanted to keep a menu to order more drinks later. We watched our waitress pace back and forth and hide inside the restaurant, but she never came back to our table. Unfortunately we had to request that the hostess search for her. When she finally returned to our table she asked us what else we wanted with an abundance of sass. Because her shift ended she transferred us to another waitress. However, by this point we had taken to ordering drinks at the bar due to the slow service. Upon seeing us standing at the bar she beckoned us with a single index finger. She reprimanded us as if we were elementary school children. Although we apologized profusely, we couldn't help but feel unwelcome at the establishment. We leave 3 stars for the tasty pies and the wonderful bartenders only. read more

Never had the opportunity to dine there due to the miscommunication in their reservation instructions. When you "request" the reservation you will receive instructions which state that you will receive a confirmation email "shortly" and that if you have questions or need to make changes to call the restaurant. It also provides the restaurant telephone number....genius.....or so you would think. You see, when you call the number you are trapped in a cycle controlled by the automated attendant......unless someone in the restaurant answers. They don't! 9 times I tried to call to see if my reservation was accepted for 6:30 pm last evening. I never got the chance to find out.....but I did get to hear their promotional speech.....9 freaking times!!!! Beyond SAD!!! Oh but wait, I did receive confirmation of my reservation....via text...at 8:25 pm, remember my "requested reservation time was 6:30 pm.....just a LITTLE late. We went elsewhere. With such poor service I'm pretty certain their owners don't care. SAD!!! read more

Stopped by Barn Booze n Bites for brunch this morning... We had a lovely experience! We started with a cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing -- I loved that it had a good amount of icing but not too much! I could have used mine a little warmer but it was still delicious. The avocado toast is very refreshing with a limey guacamole topped with a sunny side up egg, everything bagel seasoning, micro greens and cilantro. The biscuit with gravy had an amazing smoked cheesy flavor with good chunks of meat throughout. The breakfast sandwich looked delicious. I did not have a cocktail but they have a full bar and their drinks looked good! I would love to go back and enjoy some froze with a charcuterie board in their outdoor area! I love that there's a food truck outside with a rotating menu. This place is a great little spot for something casual with friends on a nice night. Service, atmosphere, and food are all on point! Barn Booze n Bites is a newcomer to Dunwoody and is the tip of the spear for a overhaul of the Village. This project has been a longtime coming and one that has taken many minds and seemingly an act of congress to create a town center feel for this city. Like many other nearby suburbs Dunwoody has lacked a central gathering spot that is walkable, social and a space to be proud of. The project has roots dating back to 2008 when Dunwoody became a city. Brainchild of this new direction came from Richard McLeod but many were involved and even resulted in new zoning to make it happen. Areas like Roswell and Alpharetta had become booming with great bars and restaurants that bring residents out of their homes to socialize and get to know each other. Historically the Village has been the land of banks, parking lots and convenience stores. With the addition of outdoor spaces and restaurants like Bar(N) we now have a reason to make the Village a destination to hang out in and not simply to be a blip of a stop when running errands. This is not the only establishment attributing to this goal however and in the immediate vicinity more are already in the works. It takes great courage and risk to be at the forefront and for that we owe a great gratittude. Bar(n) comes from David Abes and the goal here is simple. Small tasty appetizers (food truck always nearby for more substantial plates), whisky cocktails and community vibes. There is strength in numbers and having a compound of close options keeps the night flowing. We enjoyed the Dunwoody ATM which was perfectly boozy and sweet. The bar conveniently opens inside and out and when the weather cooperates the patio is the place to be. Im already excited to try more of the cured meats and other fine finger foods at my next visit. Obviously more than happy to have them here, onward and upward for Dunwoody! read more

Though we made a reservation (so they knew we were coming in advance with a table of 15), they seemed very annoyed we were there. Service was okay, but you felt like an inconvenience any time you asked for something. I totally understand the difficulties of dealing with a large group, but we tried to make it as easy as possible by ordering things for the table & putting everything on one check. The drinks were yummy; I recommend the springtime anytime. The food was eh. Nothing stuck out to me as stellar, despite it being aesthetically pleasing.
