Just had them out to mount 3 televisions. I asked for a quote at 6 pm, had a quote within hours and they were out the next day. Great guys, clean, fast and fantastic results. Two guest rooms with a tilt mount on 65" and a fairly complicated living room 85" as the house is 20 years old and had the old entertainment alcove. They were able to get the 85" on a swivel mount and it looks perfect, not to mention how sturdy it is. I called several TV mounting businesses to have a new TV mounted above my fireplace. I was mostly interested in MVP because of their nearly 5-star rating here on Yelp. I received several quotes for mounting, some $100-$200 more than MVP. When I called MVP, Pat answered right away. He took my information, asked for me to send over photos and was able to schedule his crew to come immediately after New Year's Day. Jaysen and Dylan showed up promptly answering got right to work. They were very courteous and professional. They walked me through what they needed to do included me when making decisions on how best to complete the job. They even warned me prior to drilling that it would be loud which gave me a chance to get my little ones away from the area. It took them a total of 20-25 minutes to complete the job and I love what a great job they did. The huge plus for me was that the other companies did not offer to cover the television wires with stripping, even the companies that were charging more. This made the install look very nice and keeps the cords out of the reach of my little ones. They also vacuumed and cleaned their dust when they were done. My original review stands on the words, for the most part, but for the stars and interaction after the installation, it's not quite as good. I wrote the first review within hours of them leaving, and within the next hour after that, we began to have problems. Two separate systems but identical to the other, and one of them began to glitch. Upon inspecting on our own, we saw that the programming had not been finished in the monitors. We fixed that ourselves. ( Mind you, we paid over 3k so we wouldn't have to do any programming or work). The problem did presist, though. So I contacted Pat, and his immediate response without even much detail was that it wasn't their system or lack of programming. We tried a few more things, contacted him again only to hear he was absolutely sure it wasn't their problem. Yet, one was working, and the other wasn't. Identical systems even down to the monitors. If you check the other reviews, you will see some complaints about Pat. His bedside manner and patience are not the greatest, but having Jason around sort of balanced that whole day out. Pat was nice but appeared very close to losing his temper several times. We tried twice to get him to help and troubleshoot through text, but he had his money and was done with us. We told him we would switch from one system to the other with the main connection lead to test if this was true (that it wasn't their equipment or installation problem). With the switch, now it was happening on the other monitor, which proved it was either the system or their installation. We continued to troubleshoot on our own and found they had somehow not plugged in one of the connections correctly. It was loose, barely in, so when we fixed this, it fixed the problem. In the scheme of things, it's not really a big deal, but Pat never followed up or asked if things were OK. Just adamant from the start that it wasn't their problem after assuring us that if we had problems, they would be there to help.... for the low cost of something like 125.00 to come back out. The days that followed, we found their clean-up to be not as good as we thought. We had zip ties everywhere and random screws all over the ground. Thankfully, we didn't step on any of them. Also, Dylan told us he had caulked all the holes from the older cameras, but when I went to look, they did not appear to have been done at all. I inquired while they were here, Dylan said he had used clear caulk. My husband was done for the day, so he didn't look on his own, but the following day, he confirmed that most of the holes had not been caulked at all and that the ones Dylan had done, he didn't remove the plastic screw anchors first and used silicone instead of white paint able caulk. So we had to do all of that on our own as well, which is not easy when my husband is disabled and can't be crawling up and down ladders. The update is to confirm Pat's beside manner and to suggest making sure everything is working properly, finished, and clean before they leave. Oh! Also, Pat has a sales pitch on a TV system that will give you all of the movies and channels for free. Only a one-time charge of 350.00. A system like the dragon box through a friend of his but called something different. It might have been awesome, but I forgot to make sure it will give captions, and it doesn't, so we are now the proud owners of a 350.00 paper weight. A perfect purchase if you don't rely on captions. I do. It was probably the one question I forgot to ask. My bad. read more

USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK! I hired MVP to give me a simple way for my tourist rental guests to use the stereo and TV. I also wanted to make sure that visitors were not able to charge any accounts associated with my email and that cabinet doors on on the AV equipment, could all be closed and not have to be left open in order to use the remote. Patrick, the owner, assured me that this was no problem. The day of the install he discovers I have no subwoofer. He had never asked. So I had to go out and purchase a new one After I got back with lunch that I had bought for them they hurriedly finished because they had another job to go to. Jaysen was the last one to leave and informed me that I would have to leave one of the cabinet doors open in order to use the remote. I told him I had specifically said I wanted this to work with the doors closed. He went out to the truck, got a part and installed it and left. That evening before I was to leave to return back to my home in NoCal, I'm looking at the iPad he had set up and I found my personal information and photos on it. Clearly, he had not looked at the iPad to determine that that had happened. When I reached out to him, he accused me of putting that information on the iPad, which makes no sense since I had specifically requested that it not be on there. He then argues that they are not that familiar with Apple products, therefore, I should contact Apple. He is installing a product and does not understand how it works? I have all this in writing. Incredible. So I had to take the iPad back to NoCal, erase it, and then figure out how to resolve this problem, which I did with APPLE not with MVP. I then asked Jaysen to come out and restore whatever they had put on the iPad and teach my guests how to use it since I was never given any written directions on use and am not there to do it. Jaysen said it would cost $300 because he has to come from Hemet , 45 minutes away. I said that's crazy for me to pay twice for the same thing so I called Patrick and he pretty much says the same thing, except it would be $200. He chided me for sending an email at midnight-"not nice", he said. I responded and told him about the "do not disturb" feature of his iphone. To appreciate how just haphazard this company is, all you have to do is look at the attached invoice which says, "you are happy with the work done, it's an additional $125 for us to come back for ANY changes." I guess the corollary of that is, if you're not happy then they'll charge you even more. They won't be charging me. I paid nearly $4000 for something I haven't really been able to use yet because of this. I'll let the judge in small claims court decide who's right- in San Francisco. read more
