They also just started a new Core Tone Reform class with reformers for regular members, and that class kicks your butt! I also really enjoy the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzis. Another benefit is the kids membership. My stepdaughter loves coming to the kids club for gymnastics, rock climbing, yoga, and more. I know that she is having fun while I'm doing a class. They have Parents Night Out on the weekends and that's such a nice perk! There's also day camps, which has saved us a few times when we needed child care during a school break. The pool is also wonderful in the summertime. The cafe food is average. I'd love it if the quality was amped up just a bit. The only thing I really ever get is the vegan PB& B shake. It's delicious! It has peanut butter, banana, cafe mocha greens, almond milk, and vegan protein powder. I haven't been to the salon yet, but it's great that this is an option. I was completely lost for words thinking to myself why Alissa felt she needed to be such a prick. I understand Orange theory has a 5 minute policy for late arrivals, but are you kidding me?!? Yelp, this is a real review. We drove 30 miles to this orange theory. This was very disrespectful. I find it hard to believe the employees were unaware of the construction. If you are new to the area and are looking for a gym, I would stay away from Gold's Gym. I have…read morebeen a member there for just about 9 months and unfortunately sustained an injury that prohibits me from working out, instead of simply giving a doctors note to the actual location and facility I use, Gold's Gym will give you the run around and make you go submit a form with their 3rd party payment provider called Peak Payment Solutions, meanwhile Peak's support takes "5-7 business days" to respond and will keep charging your account. I find it strange that the organization and physical location of the facility you use is unable to do a medical freeze but instead will route you to a 3rd party. I have a suspicion they want to make the process so arduous that the member just gives up and they can continue to collect unjust fees. The FTC just filed a lawsuit against LA Fitness for similar practices. I have logged a complaint with both the FTC and the NC DOJ for bad business practices. If anyone has experienced a similar situation with Gold's Gym, I urge you to do the same and hopefully you don't get injured!!
