Brought my 2016 ford flex in for repair on my passenger front door. They were very nice. But unfortunately their work isn't as great. My right turn signal worked before they worked on my mirror and door handle on passenger side. Now my high beams no longer work as well. They said bring it in. But why would I take it back. Always can rely on Jesse and everyone else here. They make the process easy and very smooth for me. This is my fourth time coming here in the span of 2 years from all the accidents I get in this car. Expected date when given the car was July 23 gave it on June 26. They were super fast and got it done July 10th. They always finish faster than usual and the customer service is phenomenal. I love getting my car as they always detail the interior and exterior. If I have any post troubles they tell me to come back for any issues but other than that they always treat me well. I ended up running from my house to the shop to pick up my car since I had no ride and they waited for me to arrive just before they closed. They were kind enough to give me water. I was sent over to my auto center by mercury insurance. Wow these people seem really desperate. They told me they were the only people that could guarantee this work that no other body shop could offer me a lifetime guarantee. The adjuster whipped out the camera. I went over there to have the adjuster look at my car and he just started shooting photos of the whole inside of my car damage was on the outside of my car. Super Slimey, very desperate, and lying, saying that they were the only company that could guarantee the work . Losers I went to have the adjuster look at my car and they trying to get me to dropping it off. The adjuster says that there's internal ternal damage that they need to take my door apart to see the damage. really the whole door needs to be replaced. He i just trying to get the business . I recently had my Honda Accord '22 repaired at My Auto Center in Montebello, CA after an unfortunate accident this last summer. I used Yelp among other sites to view the reviews of past customers to help me make an informed decision. I want to be clear that I'm a car fanatic and maintain and care for my car very well. While I initially opted to go with another car repair shop in Alhambra, CA, Jesse from My Auto Center in Montebello, CA called me and asked for my business. I then researched their business and viewed their recent customer reviews. There was only one review that gave me pause and directly discussed with Jesse and his wife to understand context and see if this may be a persistent issue. Jesse and his team were very patient with me and shared the context enough to make me feel comfortable taking my car to them to have repaired. In the end, Jesse fixed my car faster than initially estimated and I was taken back at their teams amazing job bringing my car back to life. I've used this auto shop b4 a few times and they've done an ok job except for when my newly installed Mercedes bumper fell off on the Fwy. (I was referred by my *previous insurance co Mercury) I spoke to the owner Jesses and he "made it right" by replacing my bumper at no cost. Ok fast forward; I need my car repaired again 1/4/2022 after a lady hit me. My new insurance co Nationwide, does not guarantee My Auto Centers work nonetheless, I went with them since the owner rectified the last issue at no cost and that said a lot plus they're close to home. There I go to My Auto Center again and they are very nice as usual. The repair took over a month but I was warned that parts were taking longer than usual and understandably so. The owner even paid for my additional week of car rental costs when my insurance told me my 30 day rental time was up. The owner was kind enough to even lower my deductible by a few hundred dollars. I go pick up my repaired car and my windshield is cracked, my bumper is cracked and my taillights are not properly installed. I noticed this b4 pulling out of the auto shop on the day I picked up my car. Immediately I spoke with the staff who played dumb, the owner's daughter was about to tell ME off when I informed them "my windshield is cracked!" The owner Jesses, did not allow his daughter to speak to me rudely, he stopped her before she finished whatever she was planning to tell me. Jesse told me the windshield was already cracked when I took my car in? I was in disbelief ! What auto body shop cracks your windshield, while they repair you car? Am I in the twilight Zone? Jesse shows me pictures he had of my cracked windshield on his computer. I say "that does not prove anything except that you have pictures of my cracked windshield, (there are no time or date stamps on the pictures) of course jesse agrees to "make it right " by making a phone call to order my new windshield for an additional $500! I agree for now and verify with my insurance adjuster the following Monday that he has pictures of my entire vehicle and NO cracked windshield existed prior to my car being taken to the shop. my insurance co had pictures to prove it. I called and spk to Jesse and by this time he agreed he would not charge me $500 for cracking my windshield. My car is a Mercedes Benz, #1, I am not going with an aftermarket windshield on my car, I'm only installing original Mercedes parts and #2, do you think I'm going to let these people touch my car again??? Thankfully my insurance co covered my new Mercedes installed windshield and that was it. I'm stuck with taillights not being installed correctly (big one inch gap under each taillight and a cracked bumper. Again, do you think I'm going back to My Auto Center after my brand new $1700 Mercedes windshield was replaced? Then what?? After they tried to get away with giving me my car back that way?! My Auto Center does shoty work and then lied to my face I just left it at that. If I go back, most likely Jesse will try to "make it right" but they've lost me as a customer; they can not be trusted. Ive learned a big lesson: take video of your car before you have any work done and only go where your insurance co will fully guarantee the work Jesse is nice man but the bold face lie, cracked windshield, bumper and sloppy taillights not clipped in was enough for me. Good luck if you take your car here. My car is all over their website. from previous repairs as if they're qualified to work on it. Do your research, take pics/video of your car before you leave it anywhere. There were 7 miles put on my car while it was there for 5 weeks, idk why or what happened to my car, maybe they calibrated my tires and they had to drive 7 miles? Who knows? This was an unbelievably disappointing experience to say the least. Such a nice man but when you're dishonest, it's not nice at all. My mechanic says a windshield may crack when the car is lifted for repairs; but when you lie to my face, I'm done. I sold the car, my daughter will no longer drive that mess they made. Sloppy work and even worse, dishonest business!
