I love this Mexican bakery so much! Fresh variety even on walk in, especially in the a.m. when the parking lot is full. Although we only speak English, the staff worked with us to order and match cupcakes to a balloon arch. They did such a beautiful job on very late notice in an "emergency " situation. Hard times brings out the worst in people. The cashier accused my mother of handing her korean won when she in fact gave change in korean won. She told my mom that she would prefer cash when she has a cc machine (before accepting my mom's USD). She even said she receives korean won and mexican dollar as well, but she kept on denying giving my mom korean won. So unfortunately my mom had to take out her USD and was unable to give back the korean won that the cashier gave her. Where is your head woman? Do you not see what you give? And why are you not organizing USD cash separate to other currencies? If you want to purchase from here use a CREDIT CARD. Don't feel pity about using a cc. I'm not going here anymore. Too much bread and sweet desserts aren't good for you anyways. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican pan dulce but My Bakery delivered! The bread is perfectly baked, never stale nor does it taste bland at all. I've had their conchas, their cream and fruit filled breads, and today, I had a tres leches cake and it was absolutely perfect!! Not too sweet, not super soaked in milk and not dry either, just perfect! Again, Mexican bakeries can be hit or miss and I've certainly had my fair share of lackluster pan dulce but My Bakery has got me hooked! Will definitely be back for more pan soon! read more

If I can put zero star I would! I bought 2 rosca de Reyes and we did one of them and no babys. Spent 35 dollars for nothing. Called the bakery and they wouldn't replace it. Now my employees are upset. I'm a regular customer, I always buy cake from them for my employees. Will not gonna recommend this bakery to anyone I know anymore. So disappointed. read more

I went a couple of weeks ago to buy a cake for a birthday. I was looking for a regular cake not a tres leaches. They had about 10 cakes ready to go. I asked the lady working there who seemed to be new that I didn't want a tres leches so she offered a nuez café cake which I purchased along with some pan dulce. Well I get home and we sang happy bday cut the cake and it was tres leches. Well no one in my family likes tres leches I called the bakery to advise the lady that helped me purchase the cake that we didn't want a tres leches cake. She passed me the owner who I think is new or newer. He said that he could not do anything for me, I asked for some pan instead of the cake. He said that I should eat it instead of throwing it away. Sorry but we will not eat something we don't like. Bottom line here is we will never ever go back to this place which my family and I have been a loyal customer for as long as they have been open! This review is only for their pan dulce, haven't had the occasion to try their other sweets. Anyway, I've been coming here for as long as I can remember! It's in an older looking shopping center and could be easy to pass if you haven't been here before. It's surrounded by lots of random looking shops. They have a huge variety of pan dulce, everything you could possibly imagine. The bread always tastes fresh and of course, sweet. If you've never been to a panaderia, you walk in and grab a tray and tongs and pick your own bread. It's really affordable and easy to get more than you probably should. My only complaint is I'm not sure how often the trays and tongs get washed. They are out for everyone to use and you put them back when you are done for the next person. I know it's just bread but I feel like they should be washed in-between customers. read more

Best panaderia in town must try the flans and tres leches. The shop opens early at 5am fresh coffee and bread. Their flans and 3 leches are amazing, very cheap as well . the lady at the counter is so helpful and sweet!!! extra stars for that. the tres leches slice ($2) was very large and moist and milky on the bottom.. but i didnt really like the whipped topping too much on top.. i give it a B she suggested the danishes and the rice pudding. danishes were ok. not that soft or crispy... =/ havent tried the pudding but it looks delish. good mexican cookies tho! read more

Very make shift bakery. But sometimes you work with what you have. Don't be turned off by the locations though cuz this bread is fire! My coworker started bringing it to work and fell in love and now I stop by every so often (when my family isn't on a diet) and take some home. I recently started working in brea and my job might suck but at least I know where to find good bread. Best conchas I've ever had! Haven't tried the cakes but I've read some good stuff on here. I have been coming here for 11 years for their bread or pan dulces and never had any problems. I have also ordered few cakes here and they are good. My recent cake order was a marble cake with strawberries. I purchased it yesterday for my husband's birthday and it was moist. My family loved it. The lady at the counter was very nice. The only downside here is they charge you $.50 cents to use your credit card and that's why I'm only giving them 4 stars and I don't think that's fair. read more

Had a backyard wedding this Valentine's day. We ordered a marble cake filled with a mix of strawberries and peaches. The cake was a sensation! It was light and airy, sweet and delectable! We got many compliments! However, one piece of awesomeness from this bakery is that on the day of our wedding we had no one to pick up the cake. Was looking for a last minute Tres Leche cake for my grandma's 91st birthday. I of course yelped tres leche cake and found a few bakeries after calling about 4 places no one had a half sheet. I finally called My Bakery- they had half a sheet (ready to go) and price was very reasonable. The lady @ the counter was super nice! She wrote on the cake for me :) and got birthday candles for $1 really!!! You pay $3+ at the grocery store. The cake was delicious!!! Will definitely be going back. read more

I lived in La Habra for 5 years and then moved to Brea. I have been coming to this panadería for almost 20 years. I have tried other places through out to be disappointed for cheating on this place. I am never disappointed of My bakery bread (pan dulce). It is always fresh and yummy. However you have to get there in the morning to get all the freshness . Yeah it is a typical Latin place. They are always pleasant and to be honest I do not go for the customer service. I go to get bread! It's awesome!! read more

The breads are mediocre but the customer service is TERRIBLE!! I walked in and there was no one inside. I waited patiently. As i was waiting someone else walked in grabbed his bread and also waited. As we were waiting about 10 minutes now a lady walks in and the employee (the customer referred to her as "kochi") randomly appears. She doesn't acknowledge me and just starts helping the lady who had walked in last. Then the employee has the nerve to look at me and smile. I said "excuse me" & she just laughs. so now i had to wait until she finished helping this lady so i can get my $3 worth of bread. I will be taking my business somewhere else On top of this she was very rude to my wife about 2 weeks prior to this. Best sweet bread I've ever had! It's always fresh & always amazing! I used to live in Brea (close to this location), when I moved to Long Beach I wasn't able to find good sweet bread, I found myself driving all the way out here to buy this sweet bread. Same thing when I moved to Cerritos, & now I'm in Westminster - I still drive out here if I want sweet bread. Once I find something I love I'm very loyal. Everything I've had from here is excellent! I haven't been able to find another place with fresh soft sweet bread like this place! They have another location (not the same owners though) in Norwalk, & I have been there, it's not as good, no where near as fresh, & the people that work there or own it are not friendly! And they ripped me off, they had room for "tip" on their receipt, so being polite I wrote "$1.00" - someone at that shop turned my 1 into "$9.00" - on a $6.00 purchase, come on! I disputed it with my bank, but obviously I refuse to go back to the other location. I will keep driving clear out to La Habra for this bomb sweet bread! read more

I have been looking for bakery and thought I would give it a try. Order one cake for Saturday and another one for two weeks later. Picked up the cake and it was totally made wrong. Let the lady know that my lil girl does not like whip cream and it was frosted with whip cream! Called the owner only to hear, what do you want me to do, your daughters birthday passed already. Wrong a response to a customer whose cake was not even made right! Needless to say I cancelled the other cake and got my money back. Funny thing is I ordered the cake in Spanish so there was no communication gap. I will look for another bakery since we celebrate at least once a month...... read more
