Breakfast burrito with bacon, potato, and cheese
    Barbara P.

Food was incredible! I got a breakfast sandwich that included chorizo and my son ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon, potato and cheese. Both delicious. We also got a couple of cinnamon rolls and a sourdough bread. The food is made to order, so very fresh. The bakery goods were delicious as well.

Called ahead to make sure they had fresh sourdough and was able to score a loaf. Super delicious and fresh! I will definitely be back again!

Everything here tastes like it was made with so much love. It's almost a secret in plain sight. If you want a chill place to do work or have a cup of coffee and a delicious sandwich or pastry then you found the perfect hidden gem. Support your community. Support small business.

I was madly craving cinnamon rolls so my husband accompanied me on a morning run. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly worker. I placed my order for the rolls and I was out the door within 5 minutes. I went home and threw one in the air fryer. I wish I could experience it in store, but it was amazing at home! It was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The cream cheese frosting was the perfect sweetness and it wasn't too sticky or overpowering. This place is only 5 minutes away so I'll definitely return when I have another craving!

If you are local to la Habra and haven't tried this place you need to stop by. The place feels like you are being hosted by a family in their home. It has such a warm personality and the people serving you are actually a family. They make their sourdough organic from scratch and the pastries are delicious. I personally love their breakfast sandwich! They are so accommodating and kind.

Rachel's Bakehouse is a fairly new, lowkey, family owned bakery that's very easy to miss on the street since it's on a small corner right by a residential area. I made a visit last week, on a Friday morning around 7:30 AM or so. There were about 8 or 9 different pastries in plastic cases available without any signage saying which is which, however, I was able to ask the guy working the front what a few of them were. The guy explained everything perfectly and he also gave me a few recommendations as well. My personal favorite was their cinnamon roll. It wasn't overly sweet like your ordinary cinnamon roll because they use a cream cheese based frosting top. It was so light and fluffy, yet very delicious! The blueberry scone was great and the glaze on top wasn't overly sweet. The ham & gruyere cheese croissant was great. I loved the swirl croissant with the crisp glaze of butter with a light coating of sugar. I inquired if they change things around daily but the guy said it's usually the same during the week with more options including breakfast items during the weekends. I get that it's a small business with low demand but being limited to a few choices during the week isn't the best business practice in my opinion with the amount of great bakeries nearby with high demand. Besides that, everything I had was fairly priced and pastries were all pretty good. Personally, I won't be a returning customer but if you're looking for a small family owned bakery with yummy goods to support, I recommend this spot! There's a small parking lot available right behind but it may be hard getting out when busy since it's a little one way rectangular spot with a few spaces that all face the same way. There's street parking available that's in a residential area so weekends may be a bit more difficult.

Cinnamon roll, breakfast sandwich with bacon, hot tea

The eggs in the breakfast sandwich were fluffy and the bacon was thick cut If you are a fan of Moulin or Rye Goods this will be your spot! Chef David is extremely talented and used high quality ingredients. The price wasn't a concern to me as the flavors were fantastic and I felt great after eating here! They are new and will be offering more food and espresso options as they get settled in. I will definitely be coming back to try all of their pasteries. They also have a variety of sandwiches and can cater events! It's refreshing to have high-quality baked goods in a city overrun with donut stores and fast food. PS I parked in the street in the neighborhood left of the building.

Ham and cheese croissant and cinnamon roll

Cinnamon roll was delicious and my fiancé enjoyed their ham and cheese croissant which was baked to crispy perfection. Rachel provided very friendly service. Highly recommend!

I love scones! A lot!! But it's so hard to find any scones in this area. So when I find incredibly good scones, it's one of the highlights of the year. Rachel's scones are a particular type. Light and slightly crispy on the outside with amazing flavor and texture. I had their blueberry scones and have been daydreaming about them ever since. I bought two so I would have one for the next day. Hah! That lasted about an hour. They were both devoured that morning. I also bought a pain aux raisin and a monkey bread pastry. My husband reported both were excellent! I'm planning to work my way through their menu ... always getting scones too, of course. Luckily they are far enough from my house that I can't go there every day!!! The person that helped me was incredibly nice and it's a cozy shop. I wish they had an outdoor table so I could sit and eat with my huge puppy. But that will not keep me away (sorry puppy). The next rainy day, puppy stays home so I can sit and eat there and bliss out.

Omg the bread!!! Great service! Nice and clean! I will definitely be going back. I purchased a baguette and a loaf. Bothe delicious and fresh! The baguette was nice and soft, not hard like other places you go to. The loaf was also amazing, great tastes. The baguette did not make it to the pictures , ate it before I thought of taking a picture hahahah!

National Cake Day Review: Paris Baguette Edition…read more Since National Cake Day (11/24) is basically my Super Bowl, I strutted into Paris Baguette like a contestant on The Great British Bake Off--minus the talent, plus the hunger. I walked in knowing one thing: I was getting my BOGO cake, and nothing was going to stop me. Not traffic, not temptation, not even my kid asking "Do we really need more cake?" (Yes. Always yes.) I grabbed a slice of Mocha cake and a slice of Ganache. Meanwhile, my kiddo innocently picks an iced coffee, which triggers my inner rewards-program gremlin. Suddenly I'm cashing in my rewards like I'm on a pastry-themed game show and--boom--free chocolate almond croissant. Flaky. Chocolatey. Almondy. Honestly, it was giving "main character energy." The staff? Friendly. The store? Clean. The treats? So heavenly I'm pretty sure angels were harmonizing somewhere above the pastry case. And listen--calories at Paris Baguette don't count. They're like honorary calories. Decorative calories. Prestige calories. Since it's also my birthday week (11/26!), I fully consider this visit "research" for my upcoming celebration. If cake is wrong, I don't want to be right. In conclusion: Paris Baguette, you won National Cake Day. Congratulations. I'll expect my trophy in croissant form.
