I needed to have my siding replaced, since it was rusted, rotted and coming off my house. I contacted a number of contractors through Yelp over a course of months. A lot of these contractors either had no follow through or were priced way over my budget. Yossi of TGI Builders was very responsive and his pricing was fair and transparent. The initial projection was for a one week job, assuming all materials were available. His crew came daily and started work at 8:30AM and ending at 5:30PM. We did encounter several delays during this job, because of the weather. Storms had extended our project from one to week to three weeks, longer than I expected. TGI Builders did a great job with demolishing our old siding and installing the new on. they took great care to clean up any mess at the end the of the day. the crews were friendly and worked hard despite the cold wet conditions. It is really hard to rate TGI and especially Yossi because he was so good that I am afraid when I rehire him and his amazing team he will be fully booked. Yossi did amazing work and was just a pleasure to work with. He was easy to communicate with, great at explaining what was going on, what was coming up next, and if anything came up that was not expected he was right there to explain it and what was needed to make sure you were happy with what they were doing. His team was just great as well, they cared about the work they did and it showed. I hired them to replace original siding on the back of my house that was leaking, replace some doors and windows as well as paint the rest of the house. They came in with a quote that explained what was needed, talk me through what they would be changing and how it would look. When he found some rot on the back of the house he offered a few different options on how to repair it and did an amazing job while causing minimal delays in the project. When I say that he keeps in contact throughout the project, I mean it. Never did I wonder what would be happening or what was needed. I usually don't leave reviews, but am doing so now as it is well deserved. Truthfully Yossi was a "god-send." My fam and I live in a 2nd floor condo. Our guest bathroom tub/shower had started been leaking, floor rotting out and impacted (leaked) on our downstairs neighbor's ceiling. 1st I called a plumber who routed us to a contractor they were familiar with. We had our issues inspected by the contractor and were quoted a large amount of money. I called 3 other contractors, and was quoted more or less in the same neighborhood as the 1st contractor. Then made contact with Yossi, who was attentive/responsive. Yossi quoted us a great rate and took the time to explain what needed to be done. Long story short, Yossi went about the work with a couple of his guys. The attention to detail, the work ethic and "customer service" were all above and beyond. Yossi even took time out of a Saturday morning to shop for tiles with my wife and I. Yossi (and crew) would vacuum any dust they may have made and clean up after the end of each day they worked (sooo appreciate that.) read more

TGI was selected to work on my house's sidings replacement and an exterior paint job. My house is 2 stories. The ground floor had dry rotting on the wooden sidings on mostly one side on the bottom portion. The second side has some minor rotting. The third side has almost no rotting. The fourth side is perfect. I decided to replace all 3 sides ground floor wooden sidings, followed by a complete exterior paint on the entire house. Yossi is the owner of TGI. He came to inspect the house and give an estimate. During the inspection, he had an excellent suggestion. The house has 8 feet panel on top, under it is a 2 feet small panel, then the bottom portion is also another 8 feet panel. Each panel is 3/8" thick. Instead of replacing only the bottom 8 feet panels, he suggested replacing them with thicker 3/4" 10 feet panels. This way, there would be only one seam, instead of two. Also some minor rotting along the window trims required their replacement. TGI did not come in on the low end of the many estimates I got. In fact, it is on the high side. But Yossi and TGI had very good customer reviews. During the house exterior inspection, Yossi appeared to be knowledgeable on the work required. He was also patience to explain the details on the work involved. He appeared to be professional and reasonable. I decided to go with TGI. The initial estimate was for a 3-week job, assuming all materials are available. His crew came daily and started work at 8:30AM and ending at 5PM. They worked even when outside temp was over 100 degrees! A hick-up occurred when the needed 10 feet panel at 3/4" thick was out of stock which necessitate a 9 day delay. Go TGI had to pivot and began doing the prep work for exterior painting on the upper floor and the garage. All said, the job was finished after FIVE works, a bit longer that I expected. During the project, Yossi and his crew were professional. They were not offended by my many questions and suggestions. I appreciated that very much. His crew took extra time to ensure everything is aligned properly and put in extra efforts to smooth out the many rough area on the house during the paint job. The house now looks beautiful. The ground floor new sidings is very strong and sturdy. My wife and I are very pleased with the outcome. These guys from TGI are great! I would hire them again. read more

We needed to get the corner of our garage fixed after a car accident. We had damage to our main electrical panel, foundation footing, and structural framing. The accident required PG&E to turn off our electricity and we couldn't turn it back on until we fixed the damage the due to safety concerns. At this point we contacted TGI Builders. They worked with our insurance, obtained city permits that was required, and handled all the inspections with the city, including scheduling and communications.
