We received our sable colored Moosa (formerly named Bella) on January 21st, delivered to us at our home in San Diego CA. I must say it was a coin toss getting her online vs buying a dog at a nearby breeder where I could meet the parents. She will be a standard size bernedoodle and we fell in love with her perfect color pattern on the images and one short video that was uploaded onto her folder in google drive. I'm glad to report that upon taking her to the vet when we received her all was found healthy. I also went on to do an embark test on her to see if it was true she came from healthy parents and if she actually was a full bernedoodle! The results were great! 50-50% of each standard size. she also came clear of any bad breed related genes of health issues she could get on the future! She only inherited 1 of all the other 200 and something genes that are tested in all dog breeds and it's nothing bad to worry about and she only has one. I did find one of her brothers from another litter got matched with her, contemplating on reaching out to them. And a lot of aunts and uncles on her Bernese mountain dog side of the family. I will though encourage my doodle crush to upscale your promotion of your puppies so it won't look too iffy. Add more pictures of the dogs with their mom and dad or a couple of videos in the stories or the folder u share, not just one or 3 fotos. I never did get my pic of her with her mom as I requested as a keepsake lol since I didn't meet the mom in person. That would of been nice! I really came to consider it could have been a scam! I also like how they don't force you into a contract to get them spayed or neutered and leave it up to you to do it whenever u feel the moment is right. Thankful I went with my gut on her! Do not buy a dog from these people! They delivered a puppy so ill that the vet prepared us for the worst. The puppy had advanced bronchitis, 104 temperature, filled with parasites, and vaginitis. It cost us nearly $1000 to nurse her back to health. Not to mention the emotional toll it took on our family thinking she might die. We contacted them asking that they please help us with these unexpected medical expenses since she was delivered that way. They strung us along for over a month acting as if they'd help and then they ghosted us. Horrible people and I advise everyone to look elsewhere. Horrible experience. I put a deposit on a dog, Milo, and put him in training. Two weeks later they call and say that he has a heart murmur. This is common for puppies so I wasn't too concerned. They told me however, I needed to pick another dog. I immediately started to feel like something was off. I then found the reviews on BBB and they were frightening. Horrific Experience with My Doodle Crush - Beware! I had my first (and last) experience with My Doodle Crush, and it was nothing short of traumatic. I purchased a male Goldendoodle who was supposed to be 14 lbs at 12 weeks, according to their team. However, when he arrived, he was shockingly underweight at just 4 lbs. This was my first red flag, but I trusted their explanation that his cough was "normal" due to the travel (mind you, he was driven from Utah to Northern California, and I was not given the option for a safer flight). His demeanor was quiet and chill, and I initially thought I had a relaxed pup. Within two days of his arrival, I took him for his first wellness visit. The vet was immediately concerned and recommended X-rays due to his lack of appetite and severe underweight condition. What was supposed to be a routine check-up turned into an urgent, frightening attempt to save my pup's life. He had to receive fluids and antibiotics, and the vet warned me that if there was no improvement in the next two days, he would need to go to emergency care. How terrifying is that? Sadly, his condition deteriorated quickly. He became extremely lethargic, and I rushed him to the emergency vet, where they immediately put him on oxygen and performed X-rays. The diagnosis was severe pneumonia--one lung was completely filled with fluid and mucus, and the other was a quarter full. The vet informed me he had likely been sick for at least a week, raising serious questions about his living conditions before arriving. Despite My Doodle Crush's claims that their puppies are "well taken care of" and "vetted," I received no real documentation from a licensed vet--just a generic template that looked hastily filled out. The prognosis was grim, and I was faced with the heart-wrenching decision to put him down. I would have needed to authorize a ~$12k hospital stay with very little hope of his survival. Can you imagine the pain of that decision? When I reached out to My Doodle Crush, Jill finally responded, offering a refund for the puppy and saying she'd ask about covering the ~$2k in unexpected vet bills. Then, I received a call from Ryan Burns, who, instead of showing empathy, told me, "I can't pay these California vet bills. I can barely pay my ad fees and my staff... I need to get out of this business. No one is wanting these dogs, and the shelters are full." How dare you unload your business struggles on a grieving customer? It's not up to your customers to bear the cost of your poor business practices or false advertising of "healthy" animals. As if the experience couldn't get worse, they offered to "replace" my puppy. A replacement?! The thought alone was awful, but I reluctantly accepted, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, the new puppy arrived with a cough, and now I'm terrified that I'm about to relive this nightmare. I absolutely do NOT recommend My Doodle Crush. It's been 3 months, and the dogs still have Giardia. They have been on medication and probiotics since their first vet visit. The vet said their immune systems were weak, and for a variety of reasons. When they arrived one had a cough and Giardia, the other had a Giardia and another parasite. The cough and other parasite were gone in about a month but the Giardia continues. Besides the extra costs of testing and medication, we have to continually disinfect everything to help the one puppy build its immune system. The buying process was super smooth, but getting the dogs in a healthy state has been frustrating. I was fairly happy with them at first, even though they sent me a puppy with a bad ear infection. The transporter thought it's "cute how she keeps shaking her head like that". No. That's indicative of an ear problem. My puppy had purulent drainage from her ear. I took her to the vet the next day, where she was diagnosed with an acute ear infection. Ok, it happens, but this was bad. There was so much drainage that the vet was unable to visualize her eardrum. There was not really significant improvement after one course of antibiotics, so she required another. After the second course was completed, I took her back for follow up, and it was discovered that she had two foxtails embedded in her ear. She had to undergo surgery to have it removed (complete with IV sedation, incision/drainage and sutures). When I messaged My Doodle Crush about what was happening, they denied the puppies having any access to foxtails (even though they just posted a reel of a black Bernedoodle playing in a field of them) and were incredibly condescending. I've requested they pay for half of this vet bill. They refused to take any responsibility and will not even pay for half of the vet bill. Not once did they ask what the total is. It isn't even a lot...it's the principal of it. As a side note, this puppy was almost 10 months old when I received her, and she had not yet received her rabies shots nor was she spayed. Her pads were so rough when she jumped on me she would scratch my skin, indicating she's spent lots of time outside. She also arrived incredibly fearful of men. We bought a beautiful and sweet puppy from them. They were great during the purchase period, very responsive, and made us feel pretty good about the experience. Their prices were also good and the interactions were respectful, and thoughtful. When the puppy arrived, she had a cough that developed to a pneumonia within 36 hours of her being with us. This led to a 3K+ vet bill and delayed her training, our travel plans, and a ton more. MDC has not taken responsibility for this. However every vet, dog owner, and breeder we've met or spoken to since then has agreed that she came in with a cough because the gestation and manifestation time for a serious pneumonia cannot be that fast.. It could've been the cross-country drive, could've been the other dogs in the van, or at the trainer facility - but any way you look at it, she came in sick. She still hasn't fully recovered (been a week plus) and she's on antibiotics. They're nice people, just not responsible in how they take care of either training or delivering pups.
