I have never been so pleased with the care that my family and I have received since Dr. Payam Zamani stopped seeing patients. My family and I have been patients at My Dr. Now since 2008. That is when we met Dr. Zamani. He was absolutely amazing. He treated my family and myself with respect and I knew he cared. As the years went on, his company grew and he had to step away from the patient care aspect of the company and he hired new providers and he made sure the needs of the patients were met. I have come across some pretty amazing providers but nobody has held up to patient care like Roy Montgomery PA. He truly has been a blessing in our families lives. He has helped my family in every possible way. He has taken care of the small issues to the greater issues in our lives. He diagnosed my husband with hypertension and with amazing follow through, he found the perfect medication regiment. He has been there when my son was living a life that was fatal and because of Roy, my son is doing great and live to see many more days. He has been there to allow my teenage daughters to cry on his shoulder when they were having boy problems. Roy has made sure my family is healthy and if there is a need, he takes care of it the best way he can with professionalism. I cannot tell you in enough words how thankful we are for him. My elderly mother is in a care home & she has a nurse practitioner who comes to see her. The NP is great (no complaints). My complaint is that you CAN NOT get anyone to answer the phone when there are questions or issues. I have been trying to get someone on the phone for 5 days. I have done the "call back" that's on their answering service, and of course, no call back. I tried their "Contact Us" form on their website. No response. Finally I sat the phone down while on hold, sorted my laundry, loaded up the machine, read emails, looked through Facebook, watched a little TV, and guess what... after TWENTY FIVE MINUTES ON HOLD someone finally picked up. Know what she did? Transferred me to someone who DID NOT PICK UP! Seriously?!?!? read more

I would not recommend My Dr Now. The office staff has lied to me. They forget to show up for your monthly housecall. Five months out of the six that I have been with them, mistakes were made. The final straw was my last appointment when my doctor changed one of my medications without even discussing it with me. Lastly, I always feel rushed, like the doctor has a designated amount of time to spend on me. They lost their computer records of you and want you to data enter all your meds. If they are changing computer systems why the hell did they not file transfer the patient information? In addition, when you reschedule an appointment they send you a confirmation and then they send you another message asking you to call and confirm. SO you do that and you can't get through. You get a message "due to so much interest in our facility, you'll have to wait. BS! they are so interested in selling themselves before any kind of service. This is one big JOKE of an operation. Never responded to my online request for help (my phone service was down and I really was relying on them to respond and over 24 hours later I had not heard from anyone!) Also, suffered reprimands and judgements from doctors and doctors cut me off before I could finish my sentence and prevented me from explaining my complaint in health. Argued with me to make their point and in meantime I suffered with great discomfort. Refered to me as "you people" as if I were part of some group that didn't deserve respectful treatement. ....try first doing one thing right before marketing a host of other services unable to accurately maintain thus demonstrating the organization's value of greediness for market placement over patient care. I imagine org will feign innocence or high customer expectation in it's attempt to absolve itself of wrong doing. There is no integrity here which is something I personally like in a medical service provider. You are not running a W------n's pharmacy simply filing a prescription and quite honestly W------n's pharmacy provides superior serverice in this and some .... integrty, help in understanding prescribed medication unlike your "doctors" who I imagine are in part responsible for the opiod crisis. I had to interject that here because of the way I had been accosted by a physician who after responding to his inquiry of how I felt and my degree of discomfort barked at me that he wasnt going to give me any narcotics. I had at that time not requested any medication only how serious double pneumonia was and what did i have to do to get rid of it. They are so quick to blame patient for the problems they have a huge hand in creating it makes me, well, sick!! They love attacking addicts and former addicts. Do they do that to people who are overweight and then suffer from diabetes and dont exercise and maintain poor diets? I wouldn't be surprised. The "doctors" here appear to be groomed with an obtuse arragonace which greatly affects their ability to provide accurate and kind patient care. Approach with caution! I can't say what they would be good for except minor cuts and scrapes and colds. I have been going to My Dr Now in Chandler for a few years. I have to say the girl that works the front desk (Nikkie) provides by far the best customer service I have ever experienced. She knows who you are when you walk through the front door. She always has a smile on her face, she has a kind word for everyone. This place is a total nightmare! I went in for routine follow up bloodwork. They make you make an appointment, wait for way over an hour, pay a copay, get your vitals taken and see the doctor for about 4 minutes before they draw the blood- the only thing you went for. They told me it would be about a week for my results. Two weeks, several messages and emails later I get fed up and called the main office. I was on hold for over 45 minutes to be told they can't give me results over the phone. So I am terrified at this point because they tell me they can't tell me ANYTHING over the phone, that I have to speak to the doctor in person. I freak out and rush right over (because he's only available a couple days a week) to sit there and wait for just slightly under two hours, pay a copay, get my vitals taken, see the doctor for under a minute for routine results. I wasted so many hours, got so angry and stressed out for nothing at all. Then he wants me back in 2 months when 6 months is standard. Absolutely not. But this review is about the doctor, not the wait time. Dr. Imani Williams-Vaughn had the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced from a medical professional. I went in nervous and left fuming. To start with, she came in, didn't smile or shake my hand, and slouched down on the stool in the corner. She put off an air of a bored, lazy teenager and her attitude was no better. I told her I thought I may have had a miscarriage and she didn't say anything so I went on, telling her my story. I said that I had irregular periods to begin with, and that, after a missed one by a few weeks or so and some other side effects, I took a pregnancy test. I said that the test was positive, but I had heard store bought pregnancy tests were unreliable. Then, after about a week, I started to have a very heavy, clotted period. Then I said, "So I think I was pregnant..." And was about to finish by saying that I thought I had a miscarriage and wanted to get checked out to make sure. But I got interrupted by her saying, "Uh, ya THINK you were pregnant?" She had a look on her face like I was an unbelievable idiot. So then she goes out to check if my pregnancy test was done and she comes back in and says, "No more prego," shrugs, and changed the subject without even asking how I felt about it or letting me know what to do next. I thought, after a miscarriage, that one was supposed to get checked out. But she couldn't be bothered. So we went on to the second reason why I came in, which was to have a hormone panel done. I told her I have struggled with my weight all my life no matter how well I eat or exercise. I eat less than 1200 calories a day and work out five days a week, and the foods I eat are low carb. I shouldn't have to work that hard and only be able to maintain a heavy weight. So she asked me what my activity level consisted of. I started by saying, "Well first of all, I am on my feet all day..." I was going to finish by telling her that I work in a warehouse and walk 5-8 miles a day, and then tell her about my actual workout regimen. However, she immediately interrupted me and rudely said, "Nuh uh. What else ya got?" I just looked at her in disbelief. When we went on I had to ask her many questions because she didn't offer any information on the tests she was ordering on me, and she gave me one word answers. Finally she left the room, making me think she was coming back, but she never did. Her nurse finished with me and the doctor never even finished with me or said good bye. It was the more horrible medical visit I ever had. She was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. This review is long, but I hope it was helpful to anyone thinking of going to this doctor. Finally, the practice charges you $25 for copies of your medical records, which I think is unethical. Bottom line, I'll never be back. read more

This place is so unorganized it should be county. The left hand certainly doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Went in for my medication (xanax) first Dr I saw didn't write for that so put me on a anti depressant. 2 weeks later it wasn't working. Saw Dr. Pragit. She didn't like what the previous Dr had me on took me off that then put me on 1mg xanax and reffered me to another Dr within mydrnow. Now I'm seeing a different Dr. Irons. Doesn't listen to me complains why Dr. Pragit put me on the xanax if she was just gonna pawn me off. Gives me now 2mg xanax. Next visit Williams-Vaughan. She thinks she is not only a Dr but a psychiatrist . She doesn't like xanax and is trying to find out of something traumatic happened to me when I was younger. Always she fills it and adds another medication. Next visit (I could never see the same doctor for some reason.) Monte Jones. I went in a week early because my family was going camping and I would not have been in town. He writes me a script for #20 pills till I could see Dr. Snyder. So now I meet Dr. Snyder, I must say he was the only Dr that listened and helped. Oh by now I'm on 40mg celebs,4mg xanax and 500mg gabapentin. Which by the way is a joke. Now Dr.Snyder started doing something for me he wasn't supposed to and that was put refills on my xanax. Well it came that time for me to get another prescription and Dr. Snyder wasn't in so I had to see miss wonderful Williams-Vaughan. The dumb bitch wrote me a fake script. While in the exam room she told me she hated it . I was too high on a dose and walks out to write my refill. Thinking nothing of it I didn't look at it till I got home. The crazy bitch set me up. She wrote me a script for #280 pills and the paper seal wasn't even stamped it looked like I made it at home! I went back and I saw Dr.Snyder and showed him and he went and made a copy by this time he comes in and tells me he is no longer allowed to write scripts for me. My file is frozen. Anyway they kicked me off the program. Refusing to give me my medical records been 5 months. And Dr. Snyder no longer works there. I just filed a complaint with the medical board because that clinic is shady and I don't trust nobody!! I'm just glad the DEA hasn't flagged me for seeing so many damn doctors. read more

I had been going here for about a year and thought I was in a pretty good medical practice. Now I know better. I brought my son here for a swollen painful ankle and they took xrays. Said it was only a sprain and sent us home with a wrap. They also said they would send the xrays to Simon Med for a second opinion. After a week my son's ankle was still swollen and I called to find out about the x ray. I was told they did not have it yet. The next day someone left a message on my answering machine saying they had the report and everything was fine just a sprain as they had assumed and no fracture. Another week goes by and I get a phone call saying they want to see my son as a follow up to his broken ankle! I was very upset and demanded to know how they could miss read a report. I got nothing but rudeness excuses and flimsy apologies -turns out they had the report in hand from 3 days past our initial visit and yet it was nearly 3 weeks before I was informed that the ankle was indeed broken. They then promised a referral to an orthopedist. They never followed through and I had to go directly to my insurance to bypass the referral system and get an appointment to take him to an orthopedist to properly treat his ankle. I called repeatedly and asked to speak to someone about these repeated mistakes- how they occurred- why they occurred and how we can prevent this in the future. I was promised repeatedly that the doctor who owns the practice would call me back. No such phone call. I was told at one point to bring my son in for a complementary follow up visit and new x-ray but when I arrived I was told I would have to pay and that I could not have his x ray record without paying $25 . I had to fight for those records in order to take them to the orthopedist so he could look at the initial injury which was so obvious on the x-ray he gasped out loud. I can understand a mistake but this was a series of blatant errors and they did not make any effort to correct the situation or discuss the errors with me. I will not be going back to this practice. On top of this they will charge you $25 to call in a refill or to get a copy of your records and will make you come back and pay a copay to get results from blood test even when they are perfectly normal. This is a patient mill. I brought my girlfriend here because she was having complications after having a surgery. They tried to convince her to make them her designated PCP as she was still filling paperwork. They must have a huge section of examine rooms in the back to hold people, because I must have seen a dozen people check in, but nobody came out! I would avoid this place if you can. Only because I'm a customer service type of person, I'll pay extra to be treated well... and definitely not pay to be treated extremely poorly. I've worked for years in customer service and expect to be treated kindly when any type of money exchange is going to take place, especially in the healthcare field. The three women at the front check-in were very cold from the moment I walked in and their attitudes only declined from there. I ended up leaving after the "ring-leader" kept repeating the same sentence to me time after time in a very condescending manner, three times she repeated herself when I was only confused about an insurance issue (they couldn't get a hold of my provider to verify coverage). It was a very disgusting exchange for a woman that went to school to help others. I've been going to the Gilbert location since they bought TLC about 8 years ago (who was my prior primary care facility). The facility is nice, I have had good service, good appointments and they have seen me within 10 minutes 80% of the time. I have had great experiences with the physicians and their online patient portal is great. My #1 complaint is what others are complaining about -- management is solely focused on generating revenue. Prescription refills are only for 4 months and won't be refilled without another office visit. The prescriptions are ones I've been on for years (e.g. nasal spray for allergies) that don't need monitoring such as heart medication. They will not provide referrals without an office visit and they will not give simple test results without an office visit. read more

This company is SO deceitful and disorganized. I was told by multiple people over the phone, in person, AND via their website that my insurance company (Cigna) was accepted. I was told that I had to call Cigna and change my PCP to whatever doctor I saw at the location I went to, which I did. Cigna was ok with this also. So, I scheduled an appointment, went in, and was prescribed antibiotics for a throat infection. That's it, only one appointment. A month later I receive an email saying my account is past due and suddenly I owe $295?! They claim they sent me a statement and called me several times but I never received anything. I call the phone number on the email to find out that Cigna was not a supported provider, even after being told multiple times that it was. Now I'm stuck paying a $295 balance when I could have just went to urgent care for a $75 copay. Was looking for a new PCP. This isn't the place. Was early for appointment and had to wait over an hour. Front desk staff and intake staff friendly. Physician (Janet Pragit) was awful! I needed prescription refills and brought in my old prescriptions. Doctor came in and verified what I wanted, listened to me breathe, and then left. Never asked what I was taking the prescriptions for, when the last time I had blood work done, how long I have been taking them, or if I was having any problems - no conversation at all. Then she proceeded to write one of my prescriptions for 2x/wk instead of 2x/mo. They then billed my insurance company $370.02! If you value your health - stay away! read more

Then you have to wait for more than an hour to get triaged and another hour to an hour and a half to be seen by the doctor. Was charged another Co-Pay just for her to hand me a sheet of paper and walk out of the room. Afterwords, I received an e-mail stating that I still owed $10 dollars on a co-pay. Called to pay it and was told I owed another $10 on the visit for test results but I was never notified of this. I'm currently taking chantix to quit smoking and I've successfully completed 15 days tobacco free and I'm one month and four days in taking chantix. I've taken chantix before and successfully quit for 6 months before starting again. That was 6 years ago so going in this time I decided to go all in and take chantix for the whole 3 months recommended. Well my primary care whom I was supposed to see for my month check had to reschedule our appointment cuz I wasn't his top patient, and he has more patients then 3 Drs could do and since this happens a lot, I wanted to get a new primary care cuz I really needed to talk to a doctor about the explosive side effects I had been experiencing as that is what the package says to do "contact physician" if side effects like insomnia, dehydrated irritated skin, and migraine headaches occur to do. So I called the DR NOW urgent care to ask if they could refill an anti-anxiety pill that was already prescribed to me by my old doc whom couldn't live up to his monthly visits had me on and also speak to me about what to do about the last few nights and discontinue the reoccurrence of them, I was assured yes they would love to help me that day and they could offer me a new patient appointment wth a primary care so I could get the attention I deserve, I was stoked to talk to a doc who would listen and advise me. I didn't have this at all. When I showed I filled out my paperwork was ready with my list of concerns and excited that I could look forward to a good nights rest as I was expecting them to help my migraine soothe my anxiety as I suffer from that anyway since a child and I assure u it sucks especially when insomnia of 52 hours without sleep has accompanied it. The MA who took me bak for vitals was super nice and receptive took care of me and had me in room waiting on doc I waited patiently. Keep in mind that I'm a sane hard working citizen who innocently suffers bad from anxiety has decided to quit a life long 20 year addiction by chantix pill to completely rid myself of tobacco had been unable to rest for literally 48 hours straight and had a blinding headache for the same length so excited to get relief from a tiny .5 mg clonipin and was gonna ask for a few ambient in case the situation came up I could avoid it. The doc walks in says why are u here and I begin with my list as I had a lot to say about chantix and how I was feeling in general and she interrupted me firmly by saying WHAT DO U WANT, and I looked at her confused and said I'm here for an appointment, I quit smoking and and she asked again so WHAT DO U WANT? U want me to prescribe clonipin but no doctor here will prescribe that. And she went on and on giving me a dirty look telling me I'm an addict and how I need to be taking lexapro or ceriquil which I responded but I, taking chantix and she said oh yeah well she said she'd give me hydroxisine which is primarily prescribed for high blood pressure I know because I've taken it cuz a different doc had me do that and it raised my blood pressure to 190/110. Anyway I just couldn't believe what was happening. Here I'm having a legitimate reason for a prescription and she wants my side effects to increase so maybe I try the suicide route I mean what else could happen by adding a strong anti depressants like lexapro to a suicide watch drug like chantix? Lol like geez I wanted some head relief and piece of mind to sleep not completely go crazy! She walked out and I broke down sobbing into tears as the last two days without sleep having anxiety and no refill to get Friday I just sobbed while the ma gave a hug and said sorry. I left without any relief the doc got free insurance money just for being a stereotyping bitch who thinks every body wants to get high and wasn't the least bit concerned about chantix having serious side effects. Woman dr named dr prigat or something like that. I wish I could find a real dr who actually listened and cared about real people that are not druggies who really have unwanted issues to treat. Went in late 2015 for STD testing, came back a few weeks later for results and realized I was not tested for yeast or a bacterial infection so requested additional labs. Up until this point, aside from the long wait to see the doctor, Williams Vaughn (who is a great doctor, shame she is at such a terrible practice), things we're normal. After a week had passed and I had not received results I called and was told they would call me back with results. In the 6 weeks after the date of lab I had to call back twice, leave a voicemail once, and email once to get a response. Finally, I was quickly over the phone that I was positive for one of the tests and they would need my pharmacy info. I asked for this to be repeated because it was said so quickly and I was put on hold for the 4th or 5th time. The woman on the phone only really seemed concerned with getting my pharmacy info so I could take antibiotics for something I still needed clarity on. I let them know I would be taking my business elsewhere since they clearly did not have the time, resources, or manners to handle my health in a professional way. read more

My experience was bad but turned out amazing all because of one MA. I had to see Dr. Irons and I needed paperwork filled out and turned in that weekend. When I called to schedule an appointment I specifically said I needed to see Dr. Irons and in my chart that is also what was specified. The scheduler was not at the chandler location so I cant blame that on them. I went into my appt. that sat. I was scheduled expecting to see Dr. Irons. I went in, paid the copay and was seen by somebody else who said that they could not fill out my paperwork because they don't have rapport with me. It was a stressful nightmare... then Nicki came into the room and I explained my situation to her. She said she was going to see what she could do. I was discharged and went to the front desk where Nicki was doing everything she possibly could to help me, she wanted the numbers for the company I worked for and the company that needed the paperwork. She worked with the staff at the office, Dr. Irons, my work and the other company. She didn't make me wait and said she would take care of everything and get back to me, so I left and went about my business. This whole thing was a very stressful situation all because of one scheduling mistake and I could have lost a lot from this but I didn't. All because Nicki went way above and beyond what she needed to do to help me through this. In the end everything turned out great all because of her. Let's star by saying you will never see the same Dr twice also they don't know what the other is doing multiple times we went in to see one Dr then a few days later we get a call we need to come in very important the dr nees to see you .when we get there they don't even know why we are there but they sure are quick to take the copay then we took are child there and they tryed to charge us for crutches my insurance covers that why do I have to pay 35 dollars . Now I get a call I owe them 50 dollars and some change they said we did not pay a copay but when I said I know I did pay that they she said yes but it was a plied to the deductible???? No one told me that and we have been in after that and nothing was said now they are saying they added the 30 as a late fee how is it late if I paid it and you a plied it some place else that's not my fault and I gave you my updated address but you still hade the old one again not my fault that's yours I don't recommend they we are now looking for a new Dr office read more

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had. I went in because I had an issue with my eye. Basically a stye that was infected, literally I had drainage that was clearly visible so you know I had an infection. The PA Stephanie Tavener walked in, looked at me from a distance and told me it was pink eye then left. She didn't care that I told her I was having headaches or that it was burning. Well, because I knew that I didn't get a good patient care at my doctor now I went and saw a real provider and it turns out that my so-called stye/pink eye that the lazy ass provider thought I had was actually A major bacterial infection in my eye. When I went to my doctor now, she prescribed me eyedrops, that was basically just Saline. I had my appointment at 11 AM called the pharmacy at two they still hadn't received my medication, then I called them again at 4:30 they still had a not received my medication because they never sent it. Called My doctor now again only to be put on hold for 15 minutes then told sorry ma'am we will send them again. After he asked me what my name and date of birth was 20 times. The worst service in every way shape or form. read more
