Three of the four movers for the first day were good, hard working guys. We were sent two trucks but they were too small for the job. The original estimate of 4 hours was grossly incorrect and stretched out to 16 hours over two days. The second day only two of the four movers showed up and only one of two trucks arrived as agreed to. Many of our items were damaged (couch, table, bookcases, walls in the house, and 2 yards were dug up by the truck). We were charged a lot more than originally expected because of the lower number of movers, smaller trucks, and one bad mover who disappeared and worked a lot less than the others. We are currently waiting for assistance on insurance claim for all the damage to yards and furniture and walls. If it goes poorly or well, I will update this review to reflect that. read more

I was warned about people always getting surprises regarding moving companies. For our move we actually get pleasant surprises! The staff are so efficient, polite and careful! We keep on hearing them reminding each other looking out for the walls and the furniture. The quote they provide was very accurate that I didn't get surprised after the move as well. read more

They didn't complete they move, yet continually attempted to blame me for their lack of professionalism. Now they have used my pic of a supposed full container of an incomplete job. They, Ms. Pearl and Ty and DJ then simply lied and never returned to complete the move. Don't trust these people with your property, because they will steal. They overcharged me by alot. I hired 3 men instead of 2, one of them was never around. I moved all of the furniture to my living because they were going so slow. They also told me a higher price then what it actually was. After spending hours They broke a few of my things. I called several times to get nobody on the phone! I was sent a text to write the claims department when nothing was and is still not resolved. This company is horrible!! They left my stuff in the lviing room looking like I moved it in myself!! Pure sleaze operation. 8 hours late with no call. Almost all items damaged or dug up. Deep scratches in new hardwood floors. 'Insurance claim' area only open Thursday and Friday. Worthless, rude D'Shun now ignorimg all correspondence. Sued and won a judgement that they are also ignoring. I will continue to pursue. Look at complaints on BBB. Horrible moving company! Do not use them! I hired two movers for 2 hours to help me load my Uhaul in VT. I am moving to CT and had two movers from another company waiting in CT to help me unload. They were over 5.5 hours late and I didn't make it to CT in time. I had already paid for the CT movers. I had a 10am appointment. At 9am, they pushed it to 11:45am. I said it couldn't be later than that because my CT movers were waiting to unload at 6pm (it's a 4 hour drive from VT to CT). I texted and they confirmed at 11:40am they were on their way. At 12pm, I text again and they tell me it's going to be 2:25pm because they were in traffic! They were apparently still 94 miles away! They tell me it's a 2 hour drive because they were based in NY. So I don't think they should have agree to my morning appointment in VT! I'm not sure they were ever going to make the appointment. I understand things get delayed but why didn't they tell me earlier? For reference, the CT movers were coming from NY and called me the night before to confirm. They made sure their people would be on time. read more

We hired them to transport and install a washer and dryer. They damaged a retaining wall when they hit it with a truck at the pickup location. They did not install the washer and dryer at the drop off location because they said they had no tools. When I contacted them about the damage done to the retaining wall they said I could file a claim. I did and that was four months ago. They no longer answer my calls or emails. This company does not deserve your money. Do not use them. read more

No communication. Took several days instead of one. Damaged all of my furniture. Showed up with a child and no help to move large pieces. Found furniture put back in rooms already emptied so they wouldn't have to move it. Had to hire other movers last minute to finish the job. Horrible experience all around. read more

This company is horrible. I keep calling and not getting an answer. They showed up 7 hours late, did not bring a large enough truck to complete the job and damaged furniture beyond repair. We had to rent our own truck the following day to finish our move. Additionally, they quoted $1000 then would not unload my furniture until I paid them $1600. Save yourself! Called Pearl/Jamie at 518-500-4543 to ask why, and was sent to speak with the "Dispatch Manager" named "Farouk" at 518-925-5525 -- who apparently also goes by "Rick". My fiance texted that number and this is the name he replied as. Farouk/Rick told me his guys had gotten drunk last night + were still sleeping. When I told him I was upset, he hung up on me + proceeded to not answer my phone calls. Now Pearl/Jamie are no longer answering their number, either. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. read more

Called this company 3 weeks prior to move, they charged my credit card for a deposit then just never showed up. Owner stated they had work elsewhere and did that instead, they blew me off totally. I was quoted 2 hours for a 1-bedroom house. The movers arrived 2 hours late & it was the 1st day for 1 of the gentlemen. First thing, supervisor had a hard time maneuvering the truck in the yard to back up to the patio. Second, they couldn't figure out how to open a foldable hand truck, so I got my husbands'. Third, supervisor didn't want to take apart my leather love seat (back comes off) so it would be lighter (it's electric footrests & headrests...very heavy)~~they squished it thru the doorway complaining how heavy it was. At the apartment, the driver/supervisor drove onto the lawn of the complex so it would be closer for them to unload because they realized they left their dolly at the house. Worker brought in boxes, some he left upside down, some on their side. When they brought in the loveseat (because they couldn't be bothered to take it apart) they left marks on the hallway wall AND proceeded to gouge up a newly polyed floor!!! When corporate called to see if they were still there after 4 hours, I told them yes, & they said I owed them another hour (I agreed to 1 hour when we first arrived, so I was looking at 3 hours). I told him I would not file a claim because of the damaged floor if they wiped off the extra hour...they agreed. BUT, when I was arranging furniture, I noticed my loveseat has scratch marks where they pushed/dragged/whatever on the cement & thru the doorways. Even the plastic piece where the controls are for the foot & head rests are scraped. For the sake of your sanity & furniture...don't use this company. I wish I would have read the reviews before I hired them. read more

DONT NOT SPEND YOUR LAST NICKLE WITH THIS COMPANY. I booked this company a week before my move date. I booked a time slot of 1pm to 3pm they company called me at 1:45 To tell me they would be late 5hrs Because they were tied up from the first job. I was understanding only because I had no choice but to wait because it's now the day of with short notice . 5 hrs came and went I has to reach back out to the company to find out the ETA of the drivers because it was already pass the 5:00pm given time and demanded some sort of discount because of the inconvenience , than I received a text are 6:45pm that the drivers would be here at 8PM. [ which is now 8 hrs past my time ) so at this Point i think anyone would be able to under my frustration and really demanded a discount from the company, they kept insisting to me that I couldn't recieve a discount because they already were giving me a good rate due to long distance which keep in mind was included in my promotion price. Thomas really nice gentlemen reached out to me to rectify the situation only with bad news that the manger has instructed them not to come and complete the move. Do not book with them. read more
