I want to be clear-- I love this Walmart. The store itself is always well-stocked, and the staff throughout the rest of the location are consistently helpful and friendly. That's exactly why this stood out so much. I waited about two and a half hours for my oil change. The wait itself wasn't the issue, I understand these things take time. What I cannot excuse is the complete lack of communication from the Auto Service Center staff. No updates, no acknowledgment, nothing. A little transparency goes a long way. I eventually asked to speak with the manager Jeff . He was an absolute gentleman respectful, professional, and went above and beyond by personally working on my truck himself. That told me everything. The standard is there; the problem is the staff not meeting it. The workers in that Auto Service Center need to shape up. The manager showed exactly how it should be done. If he can lead by example like that, there's no excuse for the rest of the team to fall so short. Do better -- your customers deserve it.

I am shopping here because my funds are limited and wanted to see if they had something specific for back to school and was rushed to pay as she was closing the register and the store at 4:30. I showed her the email and she said that there was a sign on the door, which she put on after I had arrived that was a handwritten "closing at 4:30" when the printed sign clearly said 5pm. I literally got the email for new store hours at 12:08 pm today so was surprised and upset that I was rushed out of the store along with other shocked customers. Times are tough and their prices may be lower, but I'm sorry to say that they lost a customer because I wasted my time & gas to drive there only to be rushed out and not find the item my child needed as their shoe selection was limited for my daughter's size. I will not be coming back because the experience was negative and I feel like their email advertising for longer shopping hours didn't align with this specific employee & unless they do something to train them in customer service then you should be warned before shopping here.

Located after downtown Covina, Kaos Records is in a large strip mall with what on a regular day would be plenty of parking. Once inside I found a good medium sized record store that specializes in 80s new wave and punk. There's lot of posters, clothing and other memorabilia here. On a regular day I'd be digging through the bins for sure. The signing was handled really well. The boys of the Alain Whyte band were super friendly and personable, which was part of the problem. Everyone wanted to chat them up while us latecomers were sweating it up outside lol. But once inside all the heat was forgotten. All the employees were super cool and kept us updated every step of the way. 40 years in business so they're definitely doing something right. The shop is hidden away in the corner of a plaza and is not too hard to find once you spot it. There are plenty of parking spots, and the shop has a retro comic feel once you walk in. The two gentlemen within the shop were great help and were able to answer all of my questions. We talked for a bit, and they were able to put my order in for the new tmnt ronin comics coming out. You can tell the order bases on demand and specific needs so that don't have a lot on the shelves but that is more of a reason to stop by and get on the list to pull your upcoming comics. Overall, this shop has plenty of heart. It's definitely my new home base for comics and collectibles.
