    Fly inside the donuts
    Joshua P.

Almost all of the employees are useless I simply asked where I can find an microwave the employee looked at me in confusion and said I don't know, another one with AirPods looked at me and kept walking, and thing another gross thing I witnessed, Stay away from the bakery section i was going to buy some pastries until i realized there is flies inside the donuts

This is number Vanessa the manger provided to me. Not helpful when it's to the pharmacy.

I wish I did not have to shop here as often as I do after today's experience. This morning I went to the customer service counter to return a few items. While waiting in line, an elderly woman ahead of me was on the phone with her daughter asking for guidance on how to process a money order. Her daughter was simply explaining the process to her. When the woman approached the counter, the cashier, TERRI, asked for her ID in an abrupt manner without any courtesy. TERRI then stated that she was refusing to process the transaction because the customer was on the phone. To my knowledge, there is nothing in Walmart's policy stating that a customer cannot be on the phone while purchasing a money order. It appeared to be a personal preference rather than an official policy. I spoke up because the elderly customer seemed confused and unaware of this supposed rule. I politely explained that she likely did not know about it and asked if they could please process the money order this one time. Terri declined. I then requested to speak with a manager in hopes that the situation could be resolved. Unfortunately, the manager, VANESSA, was not helpful. She stated that "by law" a person cannot be on the phone while processing a money order. This did not seem accurate. I again asked if they could make an exception since the customer was simply receiving guidance from her daughter and was unaware of this supposed rule. VANESSA declined and stated that because TERRI had already refused the transaction, she could not override the decision. During this entire interaction, I had my 10-month-old baby with me in the shopping cart. After realizing nothing was going to be done to help the customer, I accompanied the elderly woman to the market across the street to complete the money order there. Because of this experience, I did not finish my own shopping and instead chose to assist her so she would not encounter the same issue again. It was an unnecessary inconvenience for both of us to go to another store simply because TERRI and VANESSA refused to provide service. When I asked VANESSA for the district manager's contact information, she provided a number for the Walmart Baldwin pharmacy, which then had to redirect me to another department. Walmart should consider retraining employees on company policies so that customers receive consistent and respectful service. When we went to the other market, I asked their cashier whether they would refuse service to someone on the phone while purchasing a money order, and they confirmed that there is no rule or law prohibiting it. I frequently shop at this location and expect professional and respectful treatment for all customers. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that situations like this are handled more appropriately in the future.

The center itself is a big shopping hub with plenty of parking. it's always bustling, but I swear, no matter how busy, you can always find a spot just maybe a little walk from the front. It's been a couple months since my last visit, and wow, they've added a fantastic new section right as you walk in on the right-hand side. Now, they have a cozy coffee and breakfast area! They brew fresh coffee and serve breakfast sandwiches from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The prices looked super reasonable, like breakfast burritos or a cheese sandwich and I can't wait to try them, though sadly, I got there in the evening, so it was already closed. Next time, for sure! Of course, Sprouts is known for its fresh sushi, bakery, and their custom sandwiches. they really do a sandwich bar better than a certain big chain (cough, Subway). The price is about $5.99 or $6.99 with chips and water so it's a steal. My only gripe? They used to have this pesto sauce( my absolute favorite) and chipotle, honey mustard and it's gone! Now it's just mayo or mustard, which is a bit of a bummer. Management, if you're reading this, bring back pesto! Despite that, it's still a crowd-pleaser, always a line for those sandwiches, and for good reason. One thing I'm not a fan of is their fresh meat section. it's nice, but always overpriced. Whether it's chicken, salmon, or beef, I just can't justify it. Trader Joe's has better variety for less. On the bright side, their fresh produce is always top-notch, big sections, tons of snacks, vitamins, and even a great soap bar selection (I always grab a few). I got a roast beef sandwich on whole wheat it was divine and some fresh prepared salad and salmon for later. Plus, they have at least eight self-checkouts so helpful when it gets busy. They take all major credit cards, and I love that they have both big and small carts the smaller one makes navigating those aisles a breeze. All in all, a fun stop, and I'll be back. just, please, bring back pesto sauce for sandwiches!!

Review The place…read moreitself is excellent, and the food is really good, which is why it's disappointing to say that the service needs significant improvement. The staff is extremely slow, and in my experience, there is also a lack of care when preparing the food. The employee leaned so far over the table while making the sandwiches that her clothing and body were practically over the food. I understand that everyone has different body types, but this is something that should be handled much more carefully for hygiene and food-safety reasons. On top of that, her attitude was not very friendly, which made the experience even less pleasant. It's unfortunate because the food and the place are great, but the lack of speed, cleanliness, care, and customer service really affects the overall experience. I hope this can be taken as constructive feedback and that these areas can be improved.

I love the ready-to-go meals. I hate that my wallet cries every single time I walk through those doors. And yet, here I am. But here's the thing -- they never skimp on quality, and that's what keeps dragging me back like a moth to an overpriced flame. Those roast beef sandwiches are still $4.99, and at this point, that price tag alone deserves a standing ovation. In this economy? Iconic. Their uni puts every other Asian market I've tried to absolute shame -- no contest, don't even argue with me on this one. The real MVPs of the store, though? The soup noodles and sushi rolls. Genuinely elite. And don't even get me started on the drink selection -- if it came from Japan and you can't pronounce it, they probably have it. As for the meat section -- surprisingly solid. Most cuts were quality grade, which, given the prices, is the bare minimum they could do. At least they're holding up their end of the deal. Will I be back? Obviously. Do I need therapy for it? Possibly.

I got rave reviews on these items that they are super good at Larios so here I am to confirm. This market is located at the corner of Barranca Ave and Arrow Highway in Covina. It's actually a meat market, but they sell produce and other food/dry items plus hot foods. It's a very small place with maybe 3-4 tight aisles. I went straight to the refrigeration area. I saw lots of different salsas and a handful of guacamole. At first glance, the appearance of the guac did not look appealing to me. It looked brown and kind of watery at the top. I was hesitant to get them, but since they were recommended, I got 3 of them. Now looking back, I should have only gotten one just to try them. It was not that great IMHO. Maybe they were not made that day and have been hanging around for a day or so. However, the roasted red salsa was really really good... I would highly recommend this one. Pico de gallo was decent. Crab ceviche was just okay... too much of the V8 taste. I ended up buying 6 containers and spent over $50 on guac and salsa. Probably more than I need. I didn't bother with the chips as they look more on the oily side. Anyway, staff was nice and helpful. Check out was fast as it wasn't super busy at the time. Parking is limited. They do have a few tables and stools outside in front of the market for those who want to eat here after their food purchase. I'm not sure if I would come back for the guac, but I may come back for the roasted red salsa and possibly their tacos and burritos.
