It was only 2 places to purchase fruit/ veggies from. I bought a bag of navel oranges and a pound of Cara Cara oranges. I wanted to try a barbeque place that was there, but they were sold out of everything I wanted to try and it was only between 1 and 2 o' clock. Very early to be sold out of items and it wasn't even crowded at the Market. It was a pastry vendor and a few taco food trucks there as well. So skip the entree, I opted for dessert at The Banana Pudding Lady. The Banana pudding cup (small) is 4" tall and about 10ozs can fit in there. The pudding to me, was VERY over priced for the price tag of $12, for that little a** cup. Why did you get it then, Tosha?!?!, might you ask! Well, because I figured the taste of it might be worth $12, since the size clearly wasn't. WRONG! Nothing special about it on my pallete. I also purchased a banana pudding cookie ($3) as well....NOPE!, to that one as well. $15 for dessert that wasn't worth it. I'm satisfied, I can now mark this place off my "to-do" list, now that I have thoroughly wasted my time, even going there.

It is simple, busy, and focused on the food rather than aesthetics, which honestly adds to the authenticity. You can see the fresh cuts on display right when you walk in and it gives that real local butcher shop feel. Service was quick and efficient. The staff knows what they are doing and keeps things moving, especially when it gets busy. It is not overly interactive but it is straightforward and professional. The quality of the meat is what stands out the most. Everything looked fresh and well prepared. The carne asada in particular was well seasoned and consistent, perfect for grilling or making tacos at home. Overall, if you are looking for high quality meat and an authentic carniceria experience, this is a solid spot to check out.

Cook: because it was so big, I smoked it at 250 until it hit 115, then opened the vents and let the vents go to 425 to get the fat crispy. Then cooked it until it was 122 internal. Pulled it off and let it rest 15 mins because it's so thick it's gonna carry over. If you only cook it at 250, the fat will be that rubbery fat. 1000000000/10
