i will always love potato corner and love that haven city market has one. perfect snack option next to the bars here. the amount of seating near this area of haven city market is also good and you can always walk over to the outdoor seating area to enjoy your fries if you'd like. love the addition of the ordering tablet to take my order even quicker. my fries took about 5-10 minutes to make and the worker who passed it out was kind and asked if i needed a bag. love a quick service food spot. read more

I used to think I had reached the final boss level of fries. Like, I've eaten fries in parking lots, at fairs, dipped in milkshakes, you name it. I thought I'd seen it all!!! And then boom... plot twist!!! Enter Potato Corner tucked inside Haven City in RC..... and let me tell you, these are not your average "meh, pass the ketchup" fries. These are main-character fries!!!!!!! First of all, they season them with YOUR CHOICE of flavor!!! Not a light sprinkle. Not a polite dusting. I'm talking about a full-on flavor shower!!! Every single fry is coated like it signed a contract to be delicious!! You pick your seasoning, they toss it up fresh, and what comes out is a hot, crispy, dangerously addictive cup of happiness!!! And the customer service? Elite!!!!! The gentleman helping us (I'm bummed I didn't catch his name because he deserves a trophy) hooked us up with samples so we could test-drive different flavors. Who does that?! It felt like a wine tasting... but for potatoes, lol!! A classy carb experience!! They also have chips and tater tots, which we are absolutely going back for because clearly this is a place that respects the potato in all its glorious forms!!! I was so excited to see a Potato Corner inside of Haven City Market, but I was really disappointed by what I got. I think the fries were fried in old oil or something because they had a really stale taste. The chili bbq powder also barely stuck to it because of it, and the whole thing just tasted different from the quality that I'm used to. Located at the back right corner of Haven City Market! This location has seasonal flavors that were previously only available in the Philippines. Right now, they have wasabi, sweet corn, sour cheese, and cinnamon&sugar. The franchise owner said he is trying to bring other flavors soon, like truffle oil, tteokbokki, chili cheese, etc. The limited time flavors will stay in rotation depending on popularity and demand, so please check them out! I ordered the sour cream&onion original fries, and the bowl was overflowing! Very generous portions as well as seasoning! A little disappointed in this place. I like their chili BBQ seasoning. I ordered from them on DoorDash and requested Chili BBQ seasoning on the chicken. My chicken arrived with zero seasoning. Something about this location - makes it stand out from all the other potato corners I've ever been to. I came here the other night for a quick bite & nothing else sounded good to me so I got potato corner. I tried out a few of their new flavors & THAT SWEET CORN? OMG SO GOOD. The chili bbq crunchy wings are pretty good too, very flavorful and they have a deal on it right now, $1/wing - but you have to order a minimum of 5. BUT STILL, sounds like a deal to me. Service was great, the girl working the counter was very nice and she was handling things by herself very well. I really like this location better then the ones inside the mall. One of my wife's favorite places. We use to go a lot at our local mall, however within the last few months - they've been disappointing us left and right. Thankfully this place made up for it. I'm really not a huge French fries type of guy but for some reason this place has me won over . It's located inside the haven city market so it's a pretty legit spot. I believe it's the owner not sure if I'm correct on that but he showed me the different ways of combining flavors to make such a savory flavor . Not sure if I have the correct mixes but the BBQ with sour cream and onion is bomb. The other thing I like is that each order is made fresh not just sitting there . You can order in house at their store, but you can order delivery like I do. FMD's menu is small, simple, and overall, all the entrees are tasty and worth getting over and over. The chicken alfredo and sirloin steak are my two favorites. I do wish the veggies came flavored in someway, like sauteed or even lightly spiced/flavored, or at least the option to. A couple things that make me knock off a star: - Delivery is way overpriced at $10. No local shop that you buy food delivery remotely charges close to that nor are tips even upwards at $10 for local delivery, even on delivery apps like Uber or DD (unless you are a very generous person on delivery apps). I would understand if delivery price changes based on distance/location, but it's a flat fee. - Despite the website stating weekly subscriptions get a discount, it doesn't. I've reached out to FMD via email in the past but haven't heard anything. - I really do like FMD's sirloin steak. It's basic, the flavor is good, and it is the right cut of meat, but somehow, it always seems partially overcooked/burned on the edges. The inside is always tender. It's just the outer crust always comes burned/black and you can taste it. - I do wish that the main entrees (chicken alfredo, Penne Bolognese, etc) came much higher in protein over carbs. For example, a few more slices of chicken and less penne pasts in the chicken alfredo. It would be a much healthier option can cater towards the "fit" aspect of dieting where we should be consuming much higher proteins over carbs. I really do like FMD and I hope at some point some of my feedback will make some changes.
