From the outside this looks like a nice place, but there are so many issues. It's cramped and not well kept at all. Dirty tissues and trash on the floor, parts of netting ripped. It's a safety hazard. My son got his arm caught in a ripped piece of netting that I think could absolutely choke a kid if they put their head through it or slipped and got caught in it. The slides dump out into other structures, the structures are empty and the firehouse has imagery of kids screaming and crying. One kid we were with was really afraid of it. Why have this at a kids place? Also, why no kids toilets or sinks? Every other indoor playground I've been to has them. This place had a lot of potential but ultimately a big disappointment. We came here about a year and a half ago and I wasn't impressed then. We decided to give it another chance now that our kids are older and actually able to run around and play together. Big mistake. I will not be coming back, and I absolutely do NOT recommend this place. It is filthy. Dust everywhere. The floors are dirty. Toys are broken. The whole place looks neglected and cheaply thrown together -- like they bought secondhand toys and just dumped them in a room. I wish I had taken more pictures, but with two toddlers running around, I was too busy making sure they didn't step on something or put something disgusting in their mouths. Most parents just sit and don't supervise their kids, which probably explains why this place doesn't have more honest reviews (because they don't actually go inside the play area). Don't waste your money. It's not worth risking your kids getting sick in a place that clearly isn't maintained or cleaned properly. Loved this place because my daughter has unlimited play time, however this is rating is based on the customer. They have a huge double standard regarding their food policy. They say no outside food which is understandable, however everyone was eating their outside food but when my grandmother walked in with her food the forced her to leave. I asked the staff and they directed me to Allen who then very rudely said no and then spelled out his name for me to complain about it. Keep in mind I had ordered my daughter food from the establishment which was received cold. When I asked Allen if he could warm it up he said no bc I should have came to check on my food. It was our first time having a private party at My Lil Town, let alone a play place and I am soo incredibly happy I did. My family and I were so impressed with how helpful the crew was. (Emily, Kimberly, Ana, Allan and Lark to name a few) They took care of everything and even when I thought I had to do some things, they graciously took care of it anyway. The crew checked up on us and truly took care of us. Communication was 100% as they always asked our opinion on anything before making any type of decision so there are no surprises or overstepping either. We are so impressed with how genuine and accommodating the crew was to us. It didn't feel like they hated their job (been to some play places where we questioned if employees wanted to be there) but this crew was all smiles and that really means a lot to us. The kids loved everything, it was non stop playing. Definitely recommend this place not only for parties but for free play too! The kids enjoy themselves which is the most important thing. They have added new items to their playground since the last time we came like the foam pit and small trampoline. They do serve food but I wish they had cheaper menu items for kids- like grilled cheese, etc. The meals do come with drinks and have creative names. So sad because this place and location has so much potential! We went for the first time this morning and will definitely not be returning. This place is DIRTY. Should be regularly cleaned, sanitized and dusted and it's very clearly not. Two employees up front, the one that checked us in was very nice but after that they were just standing/sitting there. Downtime should be used for cleaning which is very much needed. Also there is a lot of areas that look like they would be fun for pretend play, police station/Drs office/kitchen/grocery store but no toys in them. It's advertised as play area and restaurant but restaurant was completely closed "for today" Building block area is cool but all the blocks were dirty. I let me little one walk around for a bit but ended up not staying as long as we would've liked because it feels unsanitary and the restaurant was closed. We are at this mall often and would love to be able to bring my son here more often but won't be happening. read more

I had my daughter's 5th birthday here, and it was the easiest party I've thrown in 9 years! The owner was very easy to work with, the staff set up the decorations, they had plenty of space for the ice cream cake, and of course there was plenty of parking for our guests. All of the kids from ages 4-13 had a blast for the whole 3 hours! The guests were amazed by how delicious the food was. The chef prepared fresh pizza, chicken tenders, salads, and pasta, and it was all eaten up. Workers were very polite and informative about their prices and what they offer for food and drinks. The play area is a dream palace for kids, my little one was entertained and engaged for hours playing in the ball pit and slides. When we were hungry we were able to order food for a very reasonable price and the food tasted amazing. Perfect refill for myself and the little one after play time. It's convenient of you wanna distract the kids while shopping and I wanted to live it but the ownership is a problem. There was this 7/8 year old kid there bullying other kids and come to find out he was an acquaintance (my hunch says kid) of the owner as he called him back to the kitchen . My kid was delighted having an indoor play area at the Topanga Mall, located next to Target (a bonus for me), the cool pirate ball pit was a huge hit. It included a nice spiral slide and a super cool pirate them rope that kids can climb. Overall, it was a safe place for little ones to play. The eating area was cleaned, and socks were not required for adults inside, so the indoor play area floor was dirty (don't let your kid play without socks). The bathrooms were clean. NEGATIVES: 1. Little to no space to move around in. All the pretend area was jammed together 2. Floor was dirty from parent/kids walking in normal shoes. I'm use to the socks only policy. 3. NO pretend play toys at all!! The restaurant, police, fashion station etc had ABSOLUTELY nothing. Just a padded building. While my kid was simply having fun running around, for $25, I expected the basic at least. The other My Lil Town has dramatic play toys for kids. 4. The majority of kids are in the ball pit (since there was nothing to do at the other areas). I wouldn't go back unless, I'm exhausted and my kid wants to jump around the ball pit. The parents there with their kids were attentive and respectful, but it was the severe lack of dramatic play that gave this place 2 stars. read more

Yes! Yes! And, Yes! This place is golden. I picked my daughter up from school and we both had an inkling to do something fun! Rather than just go home. Plus, the house is under some minor construction. Thus, we stopped at the Topanga Canyon Mall to hang out and grab a bite to eat - and ending up stumbling upon " My Lil Town" BOTH our eyes lit up. Instantly. My daughter made a b-line straight to it. I chased behind. We ended up staying for hours and I even got to get work done while she played endlessly! It's SUPER affordable: $28.00 for THE ENTIRE DAY. And you can come and go as you please . The entire play area is padded, even the frame to the ball pit - so parents can really take a load off without fear of injury. They don't have a restaurant (yet) but have healthy and simple kids snacks options: organic juice, chips. Etc. They also allow outdoor food, and lots of space for sitting and eating! I went and grabbed a salad and smoothie in the dining terrace and brought it back to eat at the tables. LO ran back and forth to me between snacking and playing. What I liked most about this facility is how clean it is! I mean, I never like to touch jungle play equipment and I was all over this place. Lol. I also love that of the children play together. Younger, older.. it's set up in a way thats fun for all ages! EVEN I HAD FUN CLIMBING UP THE PADDED CASTLE WHEN MY DAUGHTER INSISTED I TRY IT WITH HER. They stay open late - until 8:30 p.m. we didn't stay that late, and I was not surprised to see others did! It's THAT fun. It's also perfect for private parties - if anyone is interested in doing an indoor bday without the trouble and stress. They play great kids music on the projectors; have gum ball machines; arcade games; prizes... Oh! And The girls bathroom is SO CUTE - the sink is glittery pink and sparkly, and there are majestic drawings on the wall. I could go on. I brought my son here on Sunday for the first time since new management/ ownership took over. This place is just over crowded. The toys are dusty and don't look like they've been clean properly or even cleaned. There are spider webs inside some of the play areas. That's how my son got bit on his body. The bathroom had no paper towels. The soap from the bathroom was watered down. Doesn't seem like this business cares about the safety and health of our children. The bathrooms are always so terrible every time I come here there has been literal poop on the floor and when I told staff, they asked if it was a mess I made. I am not impressed with this facility. It's often very dirty. There's hair everywhere. I often feel very unsafe being here when I have to go and I think I've hit my limit. Do not recommend. It's sort of like a cesspool. We celebrated my daughter's 4th bday and it was perfect!!! Everyone had so much fun! The entire process from before even booking to leaving the party was so awesome! Alyssa was patient and very informative during the booking process and very helpful while we got closer to the event! The girls who helped during the party were great and sweet! And the cook was sooo nice as well! The place was beautifully decorated for us and everything worked like clockwork! Very professional! Great place to celebrate! Price is not worth it, $25 per child for a crowded play area where the floor is dirty. Only "fun" for kids is slide and ball pit. The staff is rude and only sits by the entrance. Be ware if your child accidentally drops water or their juice on the floor they will give you a dirty look, and say, "ugh I got it". They claim to have a no shoe policy on the kids play area but numerous adults have them, while others wear no socks. The mini play market, clinic and restaurant have no interactive toys, the "buildings " a foam/ plastic in the way of the already crowded play place. First and last time for us to come here.
