I'm extremely disappointed with the way this boutique handled my situation. I purchased a baby dress for $300, and after bringing it home and trying it on, we realized the fabric was very uncomfortable for the baby. Just two days later, I returned to the boutique--not asking for a refund, but simply hoping to exchange it for another style. I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do because the dress was "final sale." I understand and respect store policies, but I also believe good customer service involves some level of understanding and discretion, especially for a loyal customer who has supported the business and is simply asking for an exchange shortly after purchasing. For a boutique selling a $300 baby dress, I expected a much higher level of customer care. The lack of willingness to offer any solution--not even an exchange or store credit--was incredibly disappointing and has completely changed the way I view this business. Policies are important, but so is knowing how to take care of your customers. My experience with My Little Shop Boutique was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The dress I purchased was listed for $450 on their website, yet I was charged $550 in the store for the exact same dress. When I called to question the price difference, the associate claimed the website pricing was "wrong." She then tried to say it was a different dress, then she said price will change on the website due to Trumps tariffs, even though it was clearly the exact same style shown online. The explanation felt dismissive and unconvincing and I felt lied too. I asked to speak with a manager, and I was told someone would return my call. That never happened. For a store selling dresses at this price point, ignoring a customer concern like this is unacceptable. Charging customers more than the listed price and then failing to address the issue or follow up is extremely poor business practice. I expected transparency and professionalism, but unfortunately received neither. Extremely disappointing experience. This is supposed to be a luxury store for babies and newborn gifts, yet they showed zero compassion or flexibility in a very sensitive situation. A gift for a newborn was returned 24 hours late -- one single day -- because the new mother had just given birth and was unable to leave her home for nearly two weeks. Despite fully understanding the circumstances, the store refused any exchange or solution and hid strictly behind "policy," with no grace period and no human consideration whatsoever. If you are a new mother, recovering from childbirth, hospitalized, or simply unable to get out of the house in time -- be aware: this store will not care. Apparently, giving birth is not a valid reason to miss their 14-day deadline. This experience showed me that the brand does not support mothers or families in real life, only in marketing. I will never shop here again and would strongly advise others -- especially new parents -- to think twice before buying gifts here. Luxury prices, zero empathy. read more

The customer service at this location is horrible. We had received some clothing items from a good friend who is a frequent customer of My Little Shop we wanted to exchange the items for a different size but the sales associate refused to exchange the items. She was very rude and cutting me off everytime I tried to explain myself. She kept speaking in Armenian with another man that was in the store assuming i didn't understand wrong on her end because I did. Safe to say our friend and I won't be shopping at this place again. The worst customer service ever! People, be careful shopping here. Their receipts don't include any item details--only the brand name and the amount--so they can basically charge you any price they want. I purchased a few items, and one of them was ripped. The receipt says "exchange within 14 days," but when I brought it back, they refused to take it. I feel completely misled. There's no way to confirm if the prices are accurate, and even if an item is defective, they won't stand behind it. Such a disappointing store and terrible experience. I had a horrible experience at this location. I used to shop at the Topanga store, but since it closed, I came here to buy something for my younger sister. The moment I walked in, I felt judged by the two employees on the floor--they gave me looks that felt very prejudiced. It was uncomfortable enough that I had to confront them about it. I still purchased what I came for, but left right after. I'm not sure if they assumed something about me based on my appearance, but that's no way to treat a customer. Don't ever buy a dress from the store. Horrible customer service, horrible return policy. They're sizing is very off and it doesn't make sense with the size that your order. It takes three months instead of eight weeks for your order to get to you. Worst store ever! Let me start off by saying that I have shopped several times at this store for my baby but I have never been lied to until recently by their employee named Gayane. She sold me a blanket that was for over $100 when I originally had my eye on something else. I asked her several times before purchasing if the product had wool in it she insisted none of their products do. I trusted her and took the item. I gently washed it and put it on my baby as he broke out in rashes. THE ITEM HAD WOOL. I took the item back as I still had the tag and receipt as well but she was completely unbothered and disrespectful saying that its my problem. Before buying anything here I should have read the reviews. The customer service is does not exist in this store. Few days ago I made purchases worth almost $500. One of the purchases was a pair of shoes that broke after the first time my daughter wore them. I never experience anything like it so I took the shoes to the store few days later and asked for an exchange or if they can repair it somehow. The consultant called the owner and told me that they cannot accept it or do anything about it because my daughter already wore them. I mean yes, that's how they broke. She wore them once. I asked if I can repair it and maybe bring the receipt and they can credit me for that amount the owner refused again. I can afford to repair the shoes myself it's not an issue. But at this point it seems like the owner doesn't really care about you or things they sell after you walk out with them. Be accountable for merchandise you're selling. Offer a repair, discount for the next purchase, store credit, something! I've been shopping at the store for quite some time and if they're willing to loose a paying customer over a small thing like that - I'm going to shop somewhere else where my business and I am as a customer is valued. This establishment has extremely unprofessional hiring practices. They will tell you that you are hired and call you in for "training", then they will ghost you without even determining a training date. After you reach out to them they will kindly let you know that they have hired someone else instead, and they don't want you to come in any longer without an explanation. I don't know how someone in good conscience can treat potential workers this way, wasting days of their time, giving them a potential prospect for work only to go silent on them and hire someone else in the meantime. It does not take more than 2 minutes to send a text or a phone call to communicate with someone you have supposedly hired for work. If this is the level of professionalism with potential hires, I can't imagine their customer service is of any better standard. read more
