I was only able to get a picture of the box I had already taken everything out but I received a gift for my baby and the size was running a bit short so I decided to go in and get an exchange. Their customer service was great and they were able to accommodate my exchange without any issues! I love everything about HugBug, from the presentation and layout of the store, to the brands and items they offer, and last but not least the customer service and amazing ladies who own this place. You can tell this store is a passion of theirs and it shows in all of the details throughout the store and your shopping experience. With regard to the products they offer, they have a wide selection of HugBug brand pieces and non-HugBug pieces. The HugBug pieces are amazing, high quality, beautiful and timeless. I love my daughter's heritage blanket and she does too! We use it all the time and it's a beautiful piece with the Armenian alphabet. We brought our daughter home in a HugBug set and the material is soft bamboo cotton, perfect from newborn age to toddlerhood. Some of my favorite other brands they offer are Quincy Mae (for adorable and reasonably priced sets) and Noranee (a QM sister brand for nicer occasions)! They also offer Atelier Choux pieces with options to buy their beautiful packaging with them. These make for perfect gifts for baby boys and girls, as they're keepsake items. They're also exclusive and only sold in select stores in the states so it's very convenient to be able to find them in a local boutique. They offer a great variety for kids, but the overall experience was quite disappointing. The selection is trendy, colorful, and perfect for little ones, but unfortunately, the customer service was a major letdown. The staff seemed uninterested, and when I had a question, it felt like I was bothering them. To make matters worse, the owner was rude and dismissive, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It's such a shame because the clothing is great, but the poor customer service definitely overshadowed the shopping experience. I really wanted to love this store, especially because I've bought so many gifts from here but their owner and customer service is beyond terrible. I received several gifts, with a gift receipt and took them in. I'm a new mom of 2 and as much as I tried, I wasn't able to make it in within the 14 day limit. I was 9 days late and asked to just exchange the items for a different size or color and the answer was no. Unfortunately there's no consideration here for parents. I now have several items that I won't be able to use because they are too small for my boys. Of course they will be donated but I'm sure that's not what the person who gifted me intended them for. A little consideration here would go a long way but it's unfortunate because a lot of business will be lost this way. Mine included. I won't be shopping here again and won't allow gifts from friends and family from here either. I wouldn't want to put other parents in the same situation and the fact that the policy doesn't allow for size or color changes because I was 9 days late is simply unacceptable. read more

After a long drive from my 37 week check up, I was excited to visit this store - as a new mom these days you usually don't get to see the different brands in person, and I was hoping to buy a number of items I'd be eyeing for a few months. Unfortunately but not surprisingly for a heavily pregnant lady who had just driven 40 minutes - I really had to pee. So when I entered the store I did in fact ask to go to the restroom and was told it was out of service. I was then ignored as I walked around the store looking at items - I did a quick round and left, sort of shocked by how terrible the customer service was - no indication or help in a BABY STORE of where a mother to be could go to the bathroom, just ignored. Went next door to the nail salon where they also would not harbor a full pregnant bladder and kept harping on how terrible the customer service was at HUGBUG. I mean, if the shoe fits ladies. Crossed the street and finally one kind shop owner actually let me pee bc i was at this point on the verge of tears and pretty much ready to pee in the street. As I left that store I was honestly so frustrated by HUGBUG's complete disregard for their literal customer base that I went back in and asked where exactly the saleswoman went to the bathroom - she DID note that the nail salon wouldn't let her - so I mean, I do sense there is some drama between the businesses and which brings me SOME sympathy to HUMBUG - but truly - if a pregnant woman comes into a store centered around pregnancy and children - there should be some attempt to at least point them in the right direction if you yourself cannot provide a service. the main crux of what i'm saying is that i knew immediately this was an establishment that could care less about their clientele, and sadly that leaves a mark. too bad. read more

I had a very bad experience at this place. I was very excited that I received a gift from Armenian store @Hugbug. When I went to exchange the size, the owner/salesperson made a big deal that I don't have the gift receipt, and told me to call the person and ask for the receipt. When I called the person who gave me the gift and asked for the gift receipt, she told me it was inside the box but it wasn't. Salesperson never put the receipt inside the box. She called me names and told me that I don't understand what she's telling me and told me to leave. It was the worst customer service ever. It's a lovely store with really nice products. I try to support Armenian businesses and I don't like speaking negatively about businesses, but this case was just unusual. Please hear me out. My friend gifted a shirt to my son from this store. It has the first letter of his name on it in Armenian but it was the wrong letter because my friend can't read Armenian. So I went to go exchange the shirt for the correct letter & preferably choose a different color (it was black and I don't like black). The woman helping us out offered a few options (white & silver, white & gold, black & white, & back on black). I didn't like any of the colors so I asked for store credit. She said she couldn't give us store credit because we didn't have a receipt. I explained to her that it was a gift and I wasn't given a receipt when I got the present & that it's not my fault. She said the only thing she could do is exchange the product FOR THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT. What? She went on to say that she's overlooking the fact that I don't have a receipt and allowing us to exchange the product. She was basically suggesting she was doing me a favor by allowing me to exchange the shirt for the right letter even though it wasn't my fault for the lack of a receipt. I ended up walking out of the store with the same black shirt (but with the correct letter). I also want to add that I asked the woman how much that shirt was and she said it was $34. Keep in mind this store sells merchandise that goes upwards of $2k & she was not willing to give me store credit of $34. I wonder what the difference would have been. That $34 was still going to be spent at your store. At least I could have used that credit towards something I actually liked & I wouldn't be here leaving this negative review. This was an extremely poor attempt at making a customer happy. Actually, it wasn't even an attempt. It was just awful customer service. I'm a business owner too. I get it. But at least have some fair policies for your customers. I really hope they change their policies for gifts. In the meantime, I went in on a Sunday afternoon (today) and the store was empty. I guess there's a reason for that. read more

I checked my email while on the phone and checked my spam folder and Sidney find an email from them from today. She stated she resent and I said I did not receive it. She started to raise her voice and I confirmed the color change over the phone. She became irate and told me to confirm by email or she would not move forward with my purchase. I said that's fine, go ahead and cancel my order because I don't want to deal with a company that has crappy service. She raised her voice and called me a crappy person and went on and on yelling at me. I was calm and ended up hanging up due to the verbal abuse.
