The first round of brioche crostini came with unexpected mold on it and when I informed our server, he took it away and brought fresh slices out. The foie gras and fig jam was quite tasty and played well. When I tell you this sea bass was cooked to perfection! I mean just that. The meat was flaky and solid with the outside perfectly seared! The risotto was very rich and I wasn't a big fan however I forced myself to eat it with the fish and it was perfectly paired along with my asparagus for the ultimate bite. I would come back just for the sea bass any day!

I didn't want to enjoy it as a sandwich so I picked a salad off the menu and they plated it perfectly. It's an 8oz crab cake but this was a generous 8 oz. The flavor was perfect and the crab very sweet. I enjoyed it with their Pear & Blue salad $14 which was a nice mixed of greens, a poached pear with blue cheese crumbles and candied walnuts. It was very agreeable. I did not plan on enjoying dessert until he said lemon bar, "Yes please!" The service was on point and I would definitely visit this local restaurant again if travels bring me to Baltimore. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

We split a flatbread which was on happy hour special. The dough was perfectly worked, cheese was flavorful, as were the mushrooms on top. The sauce was a bit too sweet, but it didn't interfere with the overall taste of the flatbread which was a win. My Abbey Ale was cold, effervescent, and had a toasted biscuit finish - delicious! The dining room is beautifully appointed, intelligently lit, and the menu has varied options. I'd definitely come back for a full meal. The staff was engaging and friendly, the music was jazzy-hipster in an ambient way, and the downstairs "speakeasy" looks like the place I want to be on a Friday night with some friends. Check this place out, you'll be glad you did.

When we arrived, we were seated right away, but it seemed like there were very few staff working--possibly only one waiter. It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. Overall, it's a charming place, but the service was too slow for us--especially when trying to catch a flight.

We came to check the restaurant out on a Thursday for restaurant week. While some things went good…read more Other things unforunately missed the mark. What went well: Though there was only one waiter who also was serving as the bartender, the service was quite good. She checked on us a few times and kept us informed. What missed the mark: Food: Though there was only a few people in the establishment, it took over 45mins for us to get out appetizers which were shrimp cocktail and spinach artichoke dip. While they tasted good seems like a long time to wait for these ideas. When our 2nd course came out, they were both cold. We both ordered the beef short rib with mash potatoes and carrots. The mash potatoes and carrots were literally cold with the beef short rib being lukewarm. At this point we asked if they could just wrap it up for us to take home as we had been there 1.5hrs at this time. I will say when I got it home and warmed it up it was quite good. Lastly for food they missed the mark as they kept running out due to delivery/pickup options we were told. Seems crazy to me to keep filling takeout orders if you already offered it to those sitting in the restaurant but hey. Not sure we will be back but we may give it another try since the food at least did have a good taste.

Next was the entry: nice music, nice ambience, beautifully decorated (green flag 2). The green flags just kept coming. We had such an amazing time eating and talking the with staff, that we took very few photos. The bartender/server/comedian/all around cool human, Symphony, was AMAZING!!! The Owner, Monica, came over and talked to us. We told her that we drove in from DC, just to be there that evening. I had a smoky Bourbon Bloom, the truffle frites and cognac wings-delish! My two sisters had the restaurant week specials that came with a meat, two sides and dessert; they both cleaned their plates. This never happens! There was nothing left on the plates or in the glasses! 50/10!!! The whole situation was just a really cool vibe! We will CERTAINLY return! 3 entrees, 3 drinks, 1 soda around 188$ with 18% gratuity included. Let me just double say, these wings alone are worth a return trip! I have NEVER had wings that tasted like those. But that team, the team is TOP TIER! Sooooo good!

Since it was New Year's eve, there were few patrons or maybe this is the usual scene? Don't know. But there are some comfy couches by the front in which a young couple with a baby was nursing. Another couple was just finishing up dinner and started to head out. We were the only two diners for about 20 minutes before another couple came in for dinner. There were also about two or three people at the bar. So basically a very quiet place. No one at the hostess stand, only a woman at the bar. She eventually sat us and took our order. Things were slow but not so slow that I would complain. I would surmise that most of the staff was off that evening. Food was also slow in coming so there might have been a small crew in the kitchen as well. We ordered the mezze appetizer. Nothing to rave about. It was just a plate with vegetables and hummus. We both got the wagyu burger and fries. The whole meal was quite decent. The meat was cooked to the correct temperature and the fries were crispy. It was quite filling for me. Maybe it was NYE but everything was quiet and nice.
