My experience was not very good unfortunately... I spent about 6 thousand dollars throughout my dealings with this place only to find out that the parts I received were not new. The company pulled a bait and switch on me they advertise a set of new saddle bag lids and when I sent someone to pick them us as I was working they pulled a bait and switch and gave a set of old set of used police style lids and said oh I'm sorry I don't have them anymore but you can take these old junk ones do not trust this company with your prized motorcycle if they can't even offer an easy parts sale zero to no ethics !!! read more

He also pointed out a small leak that he didn't want to fix as my bike is under warranty, so rather than him getting paid to fix it he strongly suggested to take to HD for warranty. Found this place believe it or not thru Offer up, stoped by to buy some parts for my Harley and just started talking to the guy. Martin the owner and mechanic worked for Laidlaws as lead mechanic for close to many years but left Laidlaws after management changed. So here he is at he's own place and the guy is good. On top of now being a great friend to our family and ours to he's, the work he does is spot on. He's not only worked on my bike but my stepdads, and 2 of my buddies. The great thing is that if he finds somthing else besides what your going for he'll fix it if something small or before he puts anything together he'll tell you about it before anything. On top of that he's work is always 100. All around great mechanic, great guy, and carrying family. No other place do I recommend work for your Harley. P.S. prices are decent. read more

Took my road king to his shop bk in August due to charging issues. First he said it was the regulator. After he installed a HD regulator, the issue continued. He then said it was the rotor. Then when changing the rotor, he said a bunch of other parts were bad. Compensator assembly, seal, bushing etc. I ended up spending over 1500 and it took about 2 months to fix due to the fact he only buys parts from Laidlaw's. No other hd dealer and Laidlaw's as we all know never stocks anything. After I got the bike back, it was barely a month till I noticed a weird noise and immediately took it bk to him. He said it was the cam tensioner that went out. So I ended up getting new cams, hydraulic tensioner upgrade, bearings, seals, etc. took it home after 3 months at the shop due to backorder parts. After the second time i took it out to ride, the clutch messed up while i was riding to the rd4c charity run. It became completely loose and couldn't change gears. I ended up finding that the nut that goes on the clutch hub was missing. It actually fell off into the primary case and found it at the bottom inside the primary under the clutch. He obviously had to remove and install this when he did the work to the charging system. I replaced the nut since it was gotten "eaten up" from bouncing around in the casing. After I replaced it, I stopped riding it because i was injured in a car accident. I just started riding it today from it sitting on the tender for about 3 months. Took it out and it started fine until i took it out for about 10 miles and now the charging system is acting up again. Looks like it went full circle and now im stuck where I started $3000 later and with about 5 months of sitting at his shop. I think it's due to sloppy work. The clutch nut was missing pieces and I think it must have made its way into my stator. The stator was replaced about 2 years ago from Harley. So it shouldn't have gone out by now. I would take it bk to him to look at but im really disappointed with his service and already know, he's gonna blame the issue on something else and imma end up waiting another 2-3 months for the repair and end up paying around 1500 again. Honestly, I should have just taken it to Harley or done the work myself. Don't let him play you like he's played me. My bike has never sat this much either and never given me this many issues till I started taking it to him. I have 30000 miles so I really feel like I shouldn't have to be doing all this right now. From now on im just gonna take it to Harley because I would have probably paid just as much but gotten better work done without the excuses. read more

I couldn't believe the great experience that we had with both Martin and his wife. This was the first time dealing with a Motorcycle mechanic so I didn't know what to expect, I've always been skeptical about any mechanic. Martin serviced my Dyna Soft Tail Harley that was stored away for 13 years and got it started for a very reasonable cost. What really blew me away was Martin and his Wife going above and beyond of what you expect from a mechanic. Not only did they come and pickup the Harley from our business and got it running, they also detailed this bike and made it look brand new again. All the chrome and paint is now sparkling like crazy. Found this place by chance after purchasing some highway pegs from them. Immediatley after talking with the owner, son and his family, I felt comfortable enough to get a 10,000 mi. major service from them along with a stator replacement, tune up and a few other items needed in preparation for a 1,500 mi. ride to Nor-Cal and through the Sierras. Glad I went with Martin, he went above and beyond in going over everything with a fine toothed comb. Fixed many more problems than I thought I had, and as I was prepping for an upcoming trip, they ran into a snag with my front rim being bent. MARTIN ACTUALLY LET ME BORROW HIS SHOPS RIMS AS A LOANER FOR MY TRIP as to not set me back looking for a replacement in a rush. Without a doubt, I feel like they would not allow my bike to return to the road without it being safe in their eyes and satisfying the customer. As someone who normally does 99% of the repairs and services myself, as their business name states, I have found 'My Mechanic'.
