We ended up leaving our bike at his shop for the weekend for the work to be completed on a Monday. Due to my work schedule, I wasn't going to be back in the area until after his shop is closed and he graciously waited for us.

Javier offered me water and is very personable. He wiped my bike down multiple times to clean off the oil and brake fluid. He did a final inspection to make sure no residue was left on any surface, rode the bike to test it out, and thanked me for my business. I couldn't replace my own oil on my Rebel 500 because of a damaged oil drain plug. Took the bike to RevXotic Motorsports and met Javier. He showed me the right socket necessary to take the plug off. I didn't know different shaped sockets existed. While changing the oil he adjusted my chain. He verified my concern that motor oil should be changed at least once a year to remove contaminants. He also added that brake fluid should be changed out once a year but did not solicit a brake fluid change/flush. I went ahead and did a brake fluid change and was glad I did because the front brake fluid was hardening. Javier treated me like a friend and my bike was all that mattered in the shop. Thank you Javier for answering my questions and concerns with patience and thoroughness. Although I have little experience visiting bike shops I am convinced my service was reasonable and competitive. I would definitely visit RevXotic for my next service.

TBH I was more bummed out about the bike more than the injuries. Insurance reached out and highly recommended the AWESOME team at RPE Motorcycle. After doing some review reading with both HD and RPE, I decided to pull the trigger with RPE. They had glowing reviews from a bunch of people who decided to go this route rather than the dealership. When my bike was picked up, I had to pleasure of meeting Rob. He assured me the bike would "come back SO MUCH BETTER than what it was." He and his team updated me every step of the way, from when parts came in, options for alternative parts, or even if there were any delays in shipping. CONSTANT COMMUNICATION! When I finally got the call that the bike was ready (so much faster than I expected), I rushed over. Rob was there to hand off the keys and we went through what he and his team had done with my baby! I have a couple of bikes, a 2005 suzuki gsxr100 and a 2007 boulevard. Around March of this year I got a flat tire on the 10 freeway and was luckily able to get off right at baldwin park blvd. I went to a gas station and they told me there was this motorcyle shop right up the street, so i called them and THEY CAME TO THE GAS STATION AND PATCHED MY TIRE!! I followed them to the shop and was so impressed with their honest service that i just went ahead and bought some new tires. THey did such a good job, i've been back several times for oil changes on both bikes and a fork job on my gsxr. I live in Pasadena but this is the only shop i will take my bikes (and dirt toys) too. Took my bike to Justin here at road race for what I thought was a bad stator and rectifier on my GSXR ready to spend a fortune on repairs Justin told me se will check my charging system found out battery was dead drained from the rectifier I had to change hours before he fixed my battery issue and found some loose wired where the rectifier plugs in and fixes that then hooked it up with cleaning and lubing my chain and some other perks now my bike rides better than ever I love it! Excellent service and guy who runs it, Moses, is super cool and professional. I have taken my mtrcycle there many times for tires. I like to buy the tire online and have it sent there but that is just my style -- he is ok w/ it. As far as price for labor goes, he is the best and most affordable for me. I recommend him highly.
