Almost finished repairs.

I was happy leaving after my repairs but after close inspection once home I was not all that happy. I'm not a basher of retailers, vendors or service providers so I like to provide facts. So l will list the short comings. I needed new handle bars and cables due to an accident. I wanted a a popular brand for viclas but they suggested a bar which i liked and was told that they are manufactured for Savage Cycles. I asked to have the curve on the bars inward and since they manufacture the bars they said I could have them my way. Well on delivery the bars were not in the direction I requested and was told that due to the type of bar shape it could not be done. My thought was ok but you should have known this. They look great but not what I asked for. I requested to chrome my controls. Look great but the screws replaced were not chrome and some were stripped. Not noticeable so I let it go. I brought my own grips. On delivery my grips were not on bars, stating that my grips did not fit because they were custom bars. Was not informed of the of the charges or change could have been given this information at time of request that not all grips would fit. Or which type would fit. Timeline was 4 weeks not happy about that. After a few weeks of riding I decided to give it a look over. My fishtail pipes were loose. And not just lose missing exhaust clamps. And screws. I had to purchase new ones. Something pretty but factual I asked to replace the floor boards. I purchase and supplied them with the No problem, but they left the tags hanging. Easy to remove not needed for install or ride. Cost was quoted 2k I left spending over 3k. Not a good quote, customer service or service/repair. I believe they have the knowledge and ability to do great work but it was not my experience.

Huge bubble

Work done from Feb 2022 to October 2022. If a picture says 1000 words, what does this say? How many times has this been done to someone? This is deadly I'd say. Check your work. I'm taking it to someone else to correct because every time I take it back to savage for something I found to be wrong or defective it takes a while to get back to me. My trust in this shop has dissipated. Fender problems, fork problems, air ride problems, paint problems. This was quite a learning experience. I would not recommend this shop in the least.

I called and spoke to Kevin . Got a quote took me in right away switched out my rims, tires and rotors. Very fast and efficient, very friendly and great hospitality. Very happy with service I'm going to recommend to my friends.

They responded immediately even though it was now past 8PM! They took down my information and arrived within only TWENTY MINUTES! I was so happy! Their communication was EXCELLENT. They kept me updated through text messages during the short time in between while the tow truck was arriving. They provided all the answers to the questions I had and help ensure I had a receipt to get reimbursed by my insurance company. Their service was above and beyond. They sent a great guy named Steve who was very professional but also extremely nice and fun guy to talk to while hooking up the car and giving me a ride to drop it off at the repair shop. If not for Angel's City Towing 2 I would still be there stranded! By the time I dropped off my car and got home I still had not heard from State Farm. Don't waste your time with your insurance or other towing services, give Angel's City Towing 2 a call they will be there to help you! AAA wouldn't do the tow since it was considered a "convenience tow," so I called Angel City's Towing 2. They came right away and towed my car before the shop closed. The very next day, I called them back to tow me to CarMax and the same driver came out. He was super friendly and helpful. I had to transfer some stuff out of my car, and he waited while I did that and was just choppin' it up with me like a friend. The pricing was reasonable as well. I definitely recommend Angel City's Towing 2 if you need a quick, reasonable tow!

Had to deal with ASAP Towing on a recent Friday night after my car was towed from the lot at Rick's…read moreDiner in Alhambra. I had parked there for dinner with my wife--just a couple hours, after the diner had already closed for the day. As a local with a city business parking pass, I didn't think it would be an issue. Clearly, I was wrong. We returned to an empty space and a knot in my stomach. A quick call to the local police confirmed it: towed. They told me it wasn't a city-initiated tow and to call the towing company directly. I did, and the man who answered (polite tone, light accent) confirmed the car was in route to their yard and would be ready in 20 minutes. He also let me know I'd be paying $485. We drove over and arrived at a hard-to-spot location off Valley Blvd. The setup was typical of these types of places--intimidating signage warning of dogs and firearms, a narrow gate, and a small window for human interaction. The guy working wasn't the same person I spoke to on the phone. He told me the car had been at their lot for less than an hour--apparently, we missed it by 10 minutes. I asked if the overnight fee could be waived. He got on the phone to check, but the answer was no. The moment the car passes through their gate, the full charge kicks in. And since I paid with a card, there was an additional fee, bringing the total to $501.97. At that point, what can you do? He checked my license, verified the registration, and brought the car around. I noticed a sign stating you can request documentation for your tow, so I asked. He said it would be available Monday. I followed up, and after a couple of calls, a woman eventually texted me photos of the paperwork. But here's the part that doesn't add up: the tow form requires the signature of the person authorizing the tow. The woman said it was signed by the owner of Rick's Diner. Problem is, the diner closes at 3pm, and this happened after 10pm. Unless the owner just hangs around at night authorizing tows (doubtful), I'm not sure how that checks out. To their credit, the staff was polite--but let's be honest, they know they're dealing with people in a frustrating, powerless situation. The real issue is the system that allows this to happen so easily. $500+ for parking in a closed business lot for a couple hours? It's legal, sure--but that doesn't make it right. I got my car back, but left feeling like the whole thing was more about profit than policy. If this happens to someone without the immediate funds, I can't imagine the stress it would cause. It's the kind of situation that sticks with you--and not in a good way.
