The perfect pour after one sip of my Manhattan.

My liver is really lucky I don't live near here. This place is the best! The had a great mixologist with a perfect pour and a fantastic selection of vintage 70's music I enjoyed. I complained there wasn't a disco ball and was told it was being repaired. Kids were bouncing around the pinball machines and everyone was enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, the Lawless BBQ folks decided that it was way too hot out to cook from their truck (98°), so they just had sandwiches available. A great neighborhood joint!

"Your favorite bar east of 82nd," is the slogan for My-O-My. The location at 8627 NE Sandy is not a destination you would expect. Parking on Sandy is difficult but pop behind the bar up into the neighborhood and there's plenty of free street parking with a short walk. The outside may not look like much (a few picnic tables on the sidewalk next to the busy street are not too inviting). But step inside and you'll feel like you're transported back to the 70s! A big sign overhead displays the cocktail menu and other drinks options. The long bar is backlit. The seating is delightful. Wallpaper covers the walls, pinball machines flash in the back, the pool table awaits, and a fireplace crackles away in the corner. Oh, and that outside seating out front that wasn't too appealing? Don't worry, they've got a super cute back patio! With a second location of the Monster Smash food cart serving up burgers. Check out their Yelp page for reviews of the burgers - short story, they're damn good. The cocktails at My-O-My are tasty. I started with "MOM's Grog" which is a fun name. I literally pronounced it "mom" which perhaps was not intended but I think it works well. Then I tried the Last Rites. Also good! (Prices aren't displayed on the overhead menu and I didn't see a paper menu, which I don't love. But I believe they were in the $11-13 range, which seems pricey but I guess is just what cocktails cost these days.) I'd be happy to come back for the cool vibes of this bar, and I'd be even happier if there were a burger+drink combo happy hour!

Great first experience at My-O-My. We stopped by on a Wednesday late afternoon for cocktails and Monster Smash burgers (food cart out the back door). It was quiet so we didn't have to wait long to order a drink. They have a big drink board so you can't miss their specialty drinks. I ordered The Caballero - wild Turkey rye Ancho Reyes, Cinnamon syrup, cardamom and lemon, served up. My husband orders a Ladder 12- Four Roses Bourbon, brandy, port, Cocchi Di Torino and bitters blend, served on the rocks. The drinks were reasonably priced at $11. The cocktail recipe's are well balanced and delicious. The bartenders were friendly and informative. For just opening a week ago they are doing great! I will be back for the cozy atmosphere. I really enjoyed sitting near the fire with an excellent craft cocktail and my Monster Smash burger.

My-O-My, what have we here? A throwback, vintage, 70s-era tavern with sultry lighting, retro signage and décor, arcade games, pinball machines, a pool table, and a covered outdoor patio with its own food cart (Monster Smash Burgers)! Groovy, baby! I dig the vibe. House cocktails include an unusual variety of concoctions, strongly poured and reasonably priced. Our before-sundown visit meant the place was lightly populated, with only one bartender on deck, but they managed to hold down the fort pretty well, and crank out drinks with surprising alacrity. Surprisingly, My-O-My is minor friendly up until 9pm, which is great news for parents like us, with a infant we are rarely separated from. I know that a stroller is a weird sight to see in a dive bar, but Keep Portland Weird, right? Keep your judgment to yourselves! Oh, and dogs are welcome as well on the patio! My wife had the IT's Banana Time (which is not as banana-forward as its name proclaims), while I went with the Creepy's vodka Pickletini, as well as an OG Smash burger and some fries with garlic aioli from out back. As strange as it might seem to pair them together, the Pickletini absolutely complimented the burger, which also sports a peck of pickles in addition to the fantastic Monster Sauce (reminiscent of any "fry sauce" at another burger joint), and very delicious. Reminds me of the smash burgers and sauce I make at home, with a lot less work! The fries were just alright, many of them being too small, and slightly overcooked for my taste, but nicely seasoned, and the aioli was a nice accompaniment. Overall, everything was competently executed and served, and very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to trying out other cocktails on the menu, as well as another of those smash burgers...or two. I said don't judge, alright!? I'm happy to see Sandy Blvd slowly transform from a seedy strip of dispensaries, vape shops, crappy hotels and dive bars into something more varied, stylish and welcoming. Many of its most recent additions have become destinations in themselves, worth crossing the forbidden divide of 82nd Ave into the wild west that is East Portland. Although, I have to ask...why do all of them have "O" in their names?! O'Dear, Sandy-Os, and now My-O-My. What gives? Well, either way, My-O-My stands in good company with the rest.

Delicious tropical cocktails, adorable decor with both indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly staff. What more could you want in a bar? Bonus: monster smash burgers food truck on the back patio. My new favorite bar east of 82nd.

My oh my bar had a great atmosphere inside the bar, but the food cart outside was extremely lackluster. Kona kitchen was featured on an instagram reel I saw and I wanted to check it out. We ordered the 3 entrees and 1 side. We chose the shrimp tempura and asked for two sides of galbi which they charged an extra $4 for... Half of the pieces were too burnt to eat what a waste... $35 down the drain

I have had this place bookmarked for awhile now and had it pop up on my Instagram - finally on a Sunday afternoon I was able to make it out there in between some Sunday errands. This place is sooo much fun and I love that it's family and dog friendly! My son was obsessed with the pinball machines which meant that my husband and I got to enjoy the delicious cocktails together. I love that the burgers are right outside as well which is so convenient. Although this is the opposite side of Portland I will definitely be returning!

Dive bar vibes with an updated cocktail menu. This NE spot was chill, great atmosphere inside and cute back patio with a delicious smash burger truck. Bartenders were friendly even when it was super busy. Definitely worth checking out.

Cons: they're often playing metal music because that's what the dude pouring beer wants to listen to. Maybe something more universally enjoyable? Less intense? I'm not asking for pop or top 40, just something for the customers too. We haven't been the only folks to comment on the music the few times we've been. Lastly, there are barely any outlets. I see folks working here sometimes and it would be nice to have more outlets available--even a power strip or two would be great! It's pretty much always full of annoying middle aged white dudes too

They don't do beer flights here, but do smaller pours so I opted for those. This isn't their main brewery, just a taproom, but it was a nice selection of draft beers and cans to go. The bartender was super friendly and told me about the place. The coolest thing here are their English style hand pull cask beers, which provides such a pleasant creamy body to beers. It's rare to find these in the USA, so if you're a fan this place is worth seeking out. Prices were reasonable for the great quality beer.

The intent is that you can get a creative slice for a uniform price at any participating location during the promo week. But here they only sell a whole pan. Would it kill them just to play along? After this experience I conclude that potato does not go well on pizza, the flavor profile is too bland. The wait was long. No condiments other than pepper flakes. The tables propped up by a large beer keg kinda suck as it's difficult to stretch your legs. Friendly bartender. iPad defaults to a minimum 20%, but that's Portland.
