This tap house is pretty incredible. If you're a Phish fan you may recognize the name from a song lyric. When Phish is on tour they simulcast the show and give you high quality headsets to listen as loud as you'd like. The show plays in the bar overall. But it's at a normal volume. So the headsets are VERY nice to filter out all other noise. Now the taps! Another knockout. They offer a rotating list of offerings from the best beers in a major beer city. You can't go wrong with any of them. The staff is fun, friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I had such a good time we left with a t-shirt and beer can koozies to give friends so they don't forget to visit when they are in town. This is a true gem of Portland. Low key and welcoming with a great atmosphere. Knowledgeable bar staff and kind customers. You can order food from the surrounding neighborhood businesses and bring it into the bar. Music on Saturdays and lots of other fun events during the week. Hey Phish heads! This is your bar. Headphones were provided for the live streaming performance, plus we met some lovely people to chat with ( outside)... Mellow and great vibes ... great selection of local brews on tap including two ciders... I also enjoyed the cider from their extensive bottle/ can section - a friend was enjoying an aromatic herbal lemonade from this section as well... The bartender/proprietor, I believe his name is TJ, has a warm way of making everyone feel at home, as though at an intimate house party in someone's living room. I love the Grateful Dead theme, and they're super interesting tap variety as well as a huge selection in cans. It checks all the boxes of a community space, of which we are lucky to have several on Fremont in Beaumont-Wilshire. Music bingo at Tomorrow's Verse by Liesl, the art instructor upstairs at the Breeze and Branch studio was SUPER fun, and was a great way to combine music and art and community. Five stars! read more

TV is a great spot to hang out, drink and listen to music. It's got a cozy, homey neighborhood vibe and there is ample outdoor seating. The selection of beer, wine, cider and hard seltzers are well curated and there are a lot of options including NA and gluten free beers. They have limited food selections but have some tasty snacks if you want to nibble. They also have a lot of fun events from time to time. I love the music bingo on Wednesday and if you like live music they have live bluegrass on Tuesday and live music on Saturday. They also have Simpsons trivia once a month that is also quite fun. When Phish is on tour they often stream Phish shows live and those events are always a good time, whether you like the music or not (the people watching alone is fun!). Lastly but certainly not least the service here is incredible. All too often in PDX I feel bartenders are too cool for school and not friendly. Neighborhood spot showing out hard. TJ (owner) is doing right by people, he is welcoming and forward thinking. It can't possibly be easy to run a small business these days, its hard in non pandemic times. I can truly say, he has been smart in his approach and at bringing people together. He has shown to be Covid safe and didn't wait around to try to figure out what to do, this guy was one of the first, at least in my hood, to get with the times.. But, he offers more than what I just mentioned, he offers a variety of beer and cider choices, all very well thought out and hand selected. There is a nice outside patio with distance to enjoy the wonders of bamboo and just overall enjoyment. We were visiting from out of town and were fortunate to find this place to relax and enjoy great beer. During the COVID pandemic TJ (owner and server) is taking extra effort to keep his place clean, enforcing social distancing, requiring masks and providing hand sanitizer for his customers. He has a great selection of beer on tap and wine and non-alcoholic drinks as well. He was very friendly and also recommended some local restaurants which were great.
