It all started at the Orange location (also top knotch), and then I moved up to DTLB. The worst thing about this location is parking. Sometimes it's easy, other times I'm circling for a few minutes. It's really not terrible. The best things about getting my brows done here: ambiance, affordable, clean, the ladies are quick, and most everyone is pleasant. Their waxing room is cozy. It's nice to be able to walk around this part of LB and check a few errands off my list. read more

I feel like I've written multiple reviews because I've been coming here awhile, BUT I must update because Arti really out did herself this time. I got a lash lyft + tint & they look soooo good!! This is them a few days later with not a touch of mascara. I also have super sensitive eyes so they watered the whole time, but Arti & honestly the entire team that was there was sooo helpful, reassuring, and super nice even though I felt like such an inconvenience. I came here for years but unfortunately my last experience at my perfect brows will be my last. Giving 4 stars because again, I went for years and was very happy with my brows. However my last appt was awful. I felt like I was bothering the woman threading my brows. She was on and off of the phone, gave me little to no attention but was overly friendly to other guests and made me feel like I had done something wrong. She threaded my eye brows wayyyy thinner than requested and left my tint on for way less time than usual. So it didn't work and was a waste of money. She also got the tint all over my cheeks. When I sat up and saw it, she aggressively rubbed it off with a baby wipe and acted like it was not a big deal even though it left brown spots on my cheeks for a few days. The thin brows took weeks to grow back and if you're as particular about your brows as I am, then you know how devastating it can be when they're done wrong. Especially over the holiday season. Again, not trying to hate too much but this last trip was just too bad for me to care to go back. read more

Lash Lift (60 mins) with Practitioner I should have trusted my instinct to leave immediately. The stations were dirty and covered in grime. The person doing my lashes didn't even wash her hands before and because it's a big open space she went from threading another girls brows, touching her face, holding the thread in her mouth straight to working on me. It was my first time getting a lash lift so I told her that when she was asking me if I also wanted a tint but she obviously wasn't listening. When she was applying the chemicals she wasn't working delicately like you would hope someone would while touching your eyes. She pulled up my bottom lashes with it and then used her fingers to pull apart my eyelids causing all the chemicals to rush in. It immediately burned and my eyes started watering and I asked to sit up so it wasn't rushing back into my eyes. All of the workers there seemed to start to panic and asked me if I was handling the situation. Like what? I'm in a vulnerable state with my eyes glued shut, chemicals rushing in burning me and I'm supposed to handle the situation? how? Then they asked me if it was my first time even though I had already told her and then started calling me sensitive. Not the experience I wanted. I had to rush to the bathroom to wash my eyes out and they're still burning I want my money / credits back. They didn't even offer as I was leaving. I was there for a total of 5 minutes before this entire disaster. Who knows how my lashes are even going to look. I'm afraid they're burned off or ripped out from them having to rip off the barrier. Don't go here. They need to clean. Wash their hands and create a safe environment for their clients. I work in the personal services industry and I would never put any of my clients in that position. read more

Went in to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time here today and wanted to say how impressed I was with the threading, but also their COVID-19 precautions! You fill out a questionnaire online, they take your temperature at the door (touchless thermometer!) and the seats were sprayed and wiped down between clients. I didn't catch the woman's name who did my threading but she was incredibly nice, thorough and had the lightest touch of any threader I've had in my ~decade of getting threaded. Super pleasant experience, this is definitely my new go-to! read more

I do love this place - I've been coming to see Aysha for threading & brow henna and she's amazing! I'd give it 4 or 5 stars but here's my issue: at my last visit (Sunday 10/3), we were subjected to Jonna's loud and very lengthy personal phone call for WAY too long and what made matters worse, it was the first thing in the morning and the music was not even on yet and all we could hear was her! It was very loud and annoying and really unprofessional. I kept waiting for her to hang up (or use an "inside voice" and at one point (Aysha stepped away) I was just reclining there waiting for my henna to set) and I turned to her and asked her if she would lower her voice. She just glared at me and proceeded to go outside. A few minutes later, when her client arrived girlfriend stayed on the phone and proceeded to talk on the phone as she was threading her client!! Cannot believe that level of unprofessionalism. I really don't want to stop coming but if that happens again I will have to find another place to support. I really want to support businesses on 2nd Street but I just can't deal. read more

I left here not 10 minutes ago. I've come here multiple times because my wife is a dedicated customer. It's always packed, but it's pretty linear when getting attended to. This time today and my last experience I was skipped for clients that sign in after me. I only need an eyebrow cleanup but my wait time tends to be longer than most individuals there. I'm really disappointed with this place.. I gave it a chance after ripal left. I needed my eyebrows threaded before a wedding. I went in and I asked for first available (my mistake) they eyebrows were poorly done. Didn't bother to take of my eyebrow pomade to see my eyebrows. Left very disappointed. Went last night giving one more chance since this place is near me and more convenient. Again my mistake I picked first available (it was an hr into closing they were all sitting around and I felt awkward asking for someone... big mistake in my end) i was relieved that it was a different person this time(I forgot to get their names) I asked for a clean up not to thick and not to thin. I asked her if she wanted me to take off my eyebrow make up and she said no. I really find this weird because hello.. I fill in my eyebrows... this is not my natural shape.. shouldn't you want to see my actual eyebrow. Alright she finished in less than 10 min. I looked at the mirror and to my surprise there was hair where I asked her to clean it. The way i have my brows filled is the shape in going for so why would there be a lump of hair outside of the filled eyebrow (if that makes any sense to you) I tried to tell her but she said no it's because my eyebrows are filled... wait what ??? I already knew it would be a mess so I didn't even bother to fight it. Paid my bill, tipped her and left. I get home take off my makeup and I see the disaster. One eyebrow is higher than the other. The other literally looks like a patch of hair with no shape and is noticeably lower than the other. I'm reallyyyyyy disappointed. I refuse to go back here. It took me a bit to grow out my eyebrows and they left them horrible. Im taking my ass back to LA or Burbank. That was my go to but since I moved I needed somewhere new. She did a fabulous job with no pain and she did it with perfection. She is super sweet with positive vibes and went about her process with full confidence, making me feel comfortable the entire time. It was my 1st time there i made an appt for a lash lift but im not so happy with my results my lashes are very thin and medium length after getting the procedure the lift is berly noticeable and uneven a lady in the front was complimenting me how nice my eyelashes look witch i noe she was lieing and said they didn't lift all the way because my eyelashes are straight down she didnt even seen me till the end how she noe how my eyelashes look before and that for next time they should be a more drastic result like really they could worm people about that plus my eyelashes are extremely thin so 1 star i give them but i do want to go next time just to check if what they said is true or not ? I came to get my eyebrows done this afternoon, after running errands. I already had my eyebrows done and shaped when I went in. I let the threader know that she can take off the brow gel I had on so she can better see my brows before threading. She insisted that she didn't need to. She trimmed my brows before I was done and now I have two gaps on my left brow. I knew this was going to happen if she didn't take off the brow gel I had on. Such a disappointment. read more
