I love this place but I'm so sad that it's soooo far from me. I recently moved to LA and have been trying to find a replacement so I don't have to make that 45 min trek. I can honestly say there is just no comparison even when I pay more. Sam and Malti are the best. The first time I had Sam thread my brows she actually told me the previous person did it too thin - she kept it thicker and it looked amazing and super natural. each time I came afterwards I just had to tell her and malti I wanted it thicker and they knew exactly what I wanted- thick and with shape. All of the other places I go to... they always ask me to tell them what I want and when I say I'd like to keep it thicker they do exactly that but with NO shape at all. Even the perfect brow in Los Angeles was a complete disappointment. I think overall I really like that Sam and malti are extremely professional - they listen to what their clients want but also put in what they think is good from their professional perspective. So I've been going to Perfect Brows in Orange for a while now and Pooja and all her employees are so awesome and friendly! My brows have never looked better! Since the new location opened in Long Beach I wanted to check it out and decided to get a facial done by Hala, and it was amazing! First of all, the facial room is so beautiful and relaxing, as soon as you walk in all the stress leaves your body! Because I was pregnant last year I hadn't gotten a facial for a while, so Hala spent a lot of time removing black heads, etc. My face felt so clean and my husband said he could see the difference! I just left the salon and got my eyebrows perfected by Syeda. She does any amazing job! She does exactly what I ask for by NOT overthreading. (I am very picky about my eyebrows). I am very pleased with my henna service provided for my friends and I. One lady applied it on 4 of us, but it took a lot of time. There needs to be extra help to expedite when there is more than 2 in a party. The henna applied was done well, and although fading a week later, it still looks great! I usually come here to get my eye brows threaded and everything has been fine. However I decided to try a facial here yesterday. And It was honestly the worst facial I've ever had. I have really sensitive skin, and before a facial they usually talk with you about your skin type, etc. so they know which products will work best, but nope, nothing. So I just decided to go along with it, all of the products literally were BURNING my skin, When she was massaging my face with the creams and exfoliation, It was going inside my nose, and again burning. She also dropped the spatula on my face, while applying the mask. It was not enjoyable at all. And to make matters worse, I woke up today with a full on rash on my chin, all across It. Burning and itching, with red bumps. She tried to say "oh your skin is glowing" after, and apart from the redness and irritation, It looked okay. Until a few hours later, the full on rash broke out. I'm not completely dissatisfied with this place nor am I truly satisfied as of late. Pros:clean, upbeat music, 2 good threaders Swati and the young girl who's at the 1st station on the right. Cons: -the good threaders have very inconsistent schedules to where I've ended up being helped by not so good threaders (they mess up the shape that the other 2 have worked on) I know they mess up because there's tons of eyebrow hairs left over that should've been threaded or they thread my arch too thinly. Also, when my usual ladies are working they say something like "don't tweeze, you already messed them up!" or "why are they uneven?... Did you go elsewhere else?" I say "no I got them done here" which is true. -Some of the chairs (where you lay back to get threading service) need to be replaced, they are squeaky and not stable. As a business that should be a priority since the customers should feel comfortable and not like you're falling. -Lastly, on the weekends they schedule 1 or 2 ladies! I don't get how that's a good business tactic. Last week I went in during the weekend and only 1 lady was there while the other one was out to lunch in one of the back rooms. Picture this: 6 people sitting on white chairs, 2 standing up and 1 other waiting at a station for her turn. What this meant for the service being provided on this day is a hurried threader and bad eyebrow job for me, I didn't want her to keep working on them to fix them while 9 ladies were waiting. I also did upper lip and believe me I'm pretty close to being Frida's cousin :( even after the threader "cleaned" my mustache there's plenty of hair she left. So I'm torn. It's a great location (parking not great!) and it's clean. But the service should be better as far as the quality, after all it's not $3 threading like I've seen in other places in LB. read more

Perfect Brows truly lives up to their name. Perfect Brows is the best place I have ever gone to for threading. I am thoroughly impressed with the results. My eyebrows haven't looked this good in over 15 years. They are shaped perfectly and in proportion to my face. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for about 10 years before that I used to have them plucked and or waxed. Swati took care of me and made sure I didn't feel any discomfort. She was so incredibly gentle I didn't feel my hair being pulled at all. I didn't know threading could be such a pleasant experience. So the owner and hala came in to my place of employment, again. The owner was very apologetic and polite which is always appreciated. They once again offered to fix my eyebrows at no cost, and while I appreciate the effort I stand firm on my decision to not go back. This update is soley based on the effort made by the owner to resolve my issue, I could tell she was bothered by the fact that this happened in her business. I do not however appreciate the fact that her employee asked me to change my prior review. All in all, maybe my experience was one in a million, perhaps you'll have better luck. read more

Swati is the brow master!! I've been going to her for a year and won't let anyone else touch my brows. I have very thick brows and going to someone that knows what they are doing is crucial. I've been to expensive brow studios that charge up to $40 a session and Perfect Brow is much friendlier, only charge $9 for brows, and I never wait more than 10 min for a walk in. The staff in general is extremely friendly and remember their regulars. Highly recommended! read more

This is the first place I've gone to for threading eyebrows and lip, then on a different day, a Brazilian wax, since moving to Signal Hill. I had Raj for my Brazilian wax and she was very nice. She made my experience easy and somewhat comfortable (I've had Brazilians and bikini waxes many times and it never gets easy for me, but the waxing was not too painful at all). The salon itself is a little small but it is nice. The staff are friendly so I don't know what some Yelpers were talking about in previous reviews. Came here for the first time a couple weeks ago when my brows were in some serious need of help. The girl who did mine (I forgot her name) did an awesome job! I wanted to keep them thick and just clean up around the outside and she did exactly what I told her and then filled them in for me before I left. Bought a Yelp Deal and came here for a Brazilian. The wax was good, it took about 20 minutes and it was very thorough. Despite having a good wax, the I had a weird experience. My esthetician was talkative, which is good because it distracts me and it's nice to have friendly service, but all she did was bad mouth other estheticians, including her co-workers. She complimented her own work multiple times. Previous waxers have asked me what I think after they finish, but never have I been told to feel it, which made me uncomfortable. She also told me the next time I come in, don't call the Perfect Brows number, but to call her cell phone to request her. I won't write her name, but she is mentioned positively in other reviews, so maybe I just had an abnormal experience. Needless to say, I won't be returning. read more

I've been going here since the place opened, basically since Hala started here. I've called to try to come in when she's there and all the response I get , from the owner, is "She's on vacation." Really surprised to see that this place has such good reviews on yelp. My experience was the exact opposite - horrible! Let me start by saying I had been to this place once before. I enjoy trying new things and had never had my eyebrows threaded, waxed but never threaded. I had seen my friend get her upper lip done when we were in India and I had been intrigued but didn't try it then. I had an ok first experience and when I saw the groupon I decided to buy the voucher for 2 eye brow threading treatments. Normally I make appointments for things but I'm on 2nd street frequently and thought I'd just pop in with my boyfriend and see if they could fit us in. I explained to the man at the front that I didn't have an appointment but had a groupon for 2 eyebrow threadings. He said if we'd like to wait or come back in 30 minutes we could. We decided we'd just try again the following day because we were pretty hungry. The next day while at lunch on 2nd I called ahead and told the lady on the phone I had a groupon for 2 eyebrow threadings and we'd like to come in at 1:15 if she wasn't busy - she said come in! So we went even got there a little early. First thing when I got in I started retelling her about my groupon and she rushed me into her seat. I am sure she was the one I talked to on the phone because she was the only person working. I thought I was relaxed but apparently I wasn't because she kept telling me to stop tensing up. She was not very pleasant and if anything the gruffness in her voice made it hard for me to enjoy my experience. I was already having second thoughts about my boyfriend getting his threaded because of the way she treated me but I told her it was his first time and thought she would be more sensitive. She was inconsiderate to him and even made fun of him to me after the fact because she had to fix my brows, she had missed some hairs. After we were done I tried to give her my groupon and she had me write all my groupon infrmation on a piece of paper. She also had me write last visit. Then when I turned to leave she was like $9 for him. I said my groupon was for 2 times. She said her manager would be upset and the voucher was only good for 1 person which I retorted you should have told me one of the other two times I brought up my groupon to you. She said because I had mentioned that I had come in before she thought I had used my 1st groupon at that time. This lady would not give in even after I re explained the situation with the fact that she should have told me earlier and that if a groupon is only to be used by a single person that it needs to state that somewhere on the voucher. I finally gave in and gave her the $9 after I could see that this was going nowhere. The lady had several problems that I could see 1. She was not a good listener 2. I could tell she does not like groupons or coupons of any sort and looked down on the fact that we had one. 3. No customer service skills. Overall the lady was ridiculously rude and unreasonable. I will definitely never go in there again if she is there. Her job is customer service and she failed miserably. My boyfriend said after that he will never get anything done to his eyebrows again. read more

I haven't had my eyebrows threaded in at least a year because the last time that they were done it was very painful. However, I decided to give it a second try today and I'm so glad that I did! The salon is clean and comfortable and I was immediately greeted with smiles. Swati sat me down and immediately made me feel comfortable. She made small talk as she gently worked on my brows and let me know where I needed to grow them out. She even showed me how to lightly fill them in while they're growing.
