I came in today for my eyebrow appointment and was surprised to see the salon in the middle of a remodel. The space looked unfinished, with construction dust, missing baseboards, old furniture mixed with covered new furniture, and floors that appeared very dirty. It felt more like a construction site than a salon open for business. While I understand that businesses need to remodel from time to time, I don't think it's appropriate to continue serving clients while the salon is in this condition. The environment didn't feel welcoming, relaxing, or professional, and I was uncomfortable throughout my visit. The technician did a good job on my eyebrows, but unfortunately the condition of the salon significantly affected my overall experience. I believe it would have been more professional to temporarily close the salon, or at least postpone appointments, until the renovation was complete. First impressions matter, and walking into a salon that looks like an active construction zone doesn't inspire confidence--especially for a beauty service where cleanliness and professionalism are so important. I hope the finished space turns out beautifully, but based on my experience today, I left disappointed. read more

Overall, my experience was great! 1. This was my first visit, so I reached out earlier in the day with a few questions. They responded quickly and were incredibly helpful. 2. I called before heading over because I was running late and would be arriving shortly before closing. They assured me it was no problem and welcomed me in. 3. Upon arrival, I checked in using an iPad (something I've never seen at a threading salon before). You simply select the service you want, and it tells you the estimated wait time--such a great feature! My wait was only a few minutes, which was even better. 4. I was greeted and taken care of by Mona Lisa, who was attentive, listened to exactly what I wanted, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. She took her time and was incredibly gentle compared to other threading experiences I've had. Most importantly, my eyebrows came out perfect! Let's be honest--when you sit down in a threading chair, your face (and basically your whole life) is in someone else's hands, and you just hope they don't mess it up! Oh man, I don't even know where to start. Walked in and people (employees or friends of employees maybe) are hanging out in the waiting area with a bunch of containers opening eating lunch. Went to the bathroom and on a table in front of the bathroom area were a stack of dirty dishes/containers from lunch. During my appointment I told her it was burning, she said ok I know it will be done soon, I had to have her stop early, I was seriously concerned about my vision with the way it was burning. She used too small of a form on my eyelashes so they were like super tightly curled, and looked short and I couldn't get to the ends of them for over a month to apply mascara, one of my eyes it was laid crooked, so my mascara would clump, she said she's never had this done to herself, that she wouldn't be interested in doing it. Ummm why would you do it to others then? She then tried to charge me more after I had already paid using classpass, it was just a terrible experience. I'm grateful nothing happened to my eyeballs. Just my lash line felt burned for a couple of days. This place should not be allowed to do lash lifts. I was shocked by the experience. read more

DO NOT COME HERE FOR BODY WAXES. I came here to get my first Brazilian done last minute because my apportionment at a different place was cancelled. I called beforehand and they said they could do both my friend and I's Brazilian waxes. The ladies were super friendly, but the one person that I got did not know how to wax!!! I asked her how long she's been waxing and she said she was a laser specialist. She clearly didn't know what she was doing. Super unprofessional!! She was just putting wax in random places and it was not a clean wax. They also use soft wax and strips which causes a lot more irritation. I left with so much wax residue on my skin so it was super sticky and I had to try and remove it myself at home. There is also A LOTTTTTTT of hair left, and she didn't even do a butt strip. There is so much hair left it doesn't even look like I got waxed. There is no way i could just put on a bikini without shaving on top of this mess. Since this was my first time I didn't know too much, but i was extremely confused when she didn't do the butt strip but I assumed that maybe they don't at this place. At the end, I asked how much and she said it was 45 and I said I am not paying that because I didn't get the full thing. My friend also got a Brazilian by a different girl after me, and she got the full butt strip and she got tweezed. There was also no wax residue on her at the end so I think it was just me who got the shitty lady. My friend had a better experience, but you shouldn't commit to a job you can't do. I should've paid zero dollars for this terrible experience. I wish the lady who did my friend also did me. LOVE the results of brow tint and lamination! Easy online booking, I had my service with Aysha and she is so kind and gentle. There is a bit of redness and burning sensation during the process, I have sensitive skin, but she did a great job of soothing it and the redness went away about an hour late. I found this spot a few years back for brow threading, and I rediscovered them today for a lash lift and tint. It is a lengthy process (approximately 1 hour appointment), but it was very worth it. My natural lashes are long, but also very straight so I didn't want fake lashes and thought the lash lift would be the way to go. This really made my eyes pop. This place is usually my go-to for brow and lash services, though I try to only go three or four times a year for lash tint and lifts. The staff does a great job and are very patient when I start flinching when they are threading my eyebrows. The prices did go up a little bit, unfortunately. When I visited a couple of days ago, I asked for brow threading and lamination. It has been a couple of days and I think I got some sort of chemical burn. This isn't the first time i've had my eyebrows laminated, so I know I don't have any allergies to it. I did sign the waiver though, so I acknowledge that there may be possible issues. I was excited to learn that a location opened up in San Juan Capistrano, about a 10 minute drive from my house. I've been here on two occasions now, and have loved the experience both times. 1) The ladies really listen to you, and will offer suggestions (if you ask). I was asked if I wanted a clean up, or something else. I asked what she would recommend, and she said perhaps a little more shape. Awesome! My eyebrows look great. 2) They have a loyalty system. Horrible service. I used to love coming here for my threading services. The new ladies are rude and not helpful. I checked in and it said it would be a 15 minute wait. After waiting my 15 minutes and a little longer I asked "how much longer". As a lady walked in right then and got told to be seated. The worker told me 30-40 minutes more. I understand waiting, but please be accurate. Also- they told me I couldn't make an appointment, but then said the lady who came in after me and went before me was because she had an appointment. Great deal!! It's only available for a limited time. The place is super fancy and clean. You MUST make an appt online, but don't worry plenty of slots available. I literally booked the same day. This place is always severely understaffed. I waited over an hour today to get my brows done. They only had one lady working the front desk and doing eyebrows with a waiting room full of people. Whenever I've tried to make appointments, they tell me to just walk in. At one point we were all cut in line by some lady the eyebrow technician was friends with who came in way later than everyone in the waiting room. Worst service I've ever received. Today I went in and got a lash lift and tint. I live lash lifts, but the last couple of times I've had them, they didn't look great because my eyelashes were too short to notice a difference. I told her this when I first got there and she made eyelashes exist where there weren't any. Amazing. Took some time processing, but I'm always tired, so I didn't mind.
