Good food. Terrible takeout service. Was promised my pie would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Ended up taking 35 minutes. It became clear to me that the person taking the order on the phone doesn't even work inside the restaurant. It wasn't like this the previous times that I placed orders. I noticed five or six tablet screens above the cash register. So this restaurant has now switched to a third-party, taking take out orders with no knowledge of what's going on in the kitchen. When I asked the cashier, he gave me a blank look, and then blamed the person taking the order for not knowing that deep dish pizzas take longer. While waiting longer in the bare bones restaurant, I saw at least three people pick up their orders. There is no one really MANAGING the restaurant. There is the dazed looking cashier who just relays the orders to the cooks you don't know how to prioritize orders. Everyone ends up, waiting longer than they should. And no one really eats in the dining area, which is essentially a waiting room All of this has affected this restaurant service this in a negative way. It will be seeing less of my business. Will be visiting Pizza Mia instead as I've never had a late order there and their food is good too. read more

Pretty decent pizza but tried other places that taste better. You can order with the cashier or use their self serving kiosk. Workers will reheat the pizza they have out but it usually is not hot enough. read more

I don't know what happen, but over the years I only order their pizza if I have no other choice. Their cheese pizza is like eating rubber cheese, its like that even when its fresh out. Any other local pizzeria is so much better like Prontos, Crust pizza, or Richmond Rd. When you take a bite the whole entire cheese falls out, and when you take a slice from the pie, all the cheese comes off. The sauce is okay, but they really cut corners on the cheese. Even my Kindergarten and 1st Grader knows the big difference when I order here. If the owners was Italians I know they wouldnt cut corners with decent/good mozzarella. I was in Staten Island and needed to eat. The staff talked me into getting lunch, so I gave in (Little do they know, I am getting reimbursed) and decided pizza. One of the employees from the area recommended "My Pizza" a small local joint, so I figured why not. I mean all Brooklyn pizza is good, right? Someone gave them a call and the delivery took no time. They were priced pretty good as well. My stomach was rumbling so as soon as it got to the office I wasted no time. I really wish I decided on burgers. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either. It was average with nothing separating it from other small pizza joints. I've tasted this pizza in hundreds of spots, "My Pizza" put no spin on the regular slice. I tried to not spend so crazy because my job flipped the tab, but know I'm kinda regretting not getting a specialty pie. Well maybe next time, but next time I mean, probably not going back there. Decided to give the place on more shot and let me tell you it was the worst Decision I've ever made in my life. I don't know what it is about the phone girl but she has a really nasty attitude from start to finish of conversation they forgot my food when delivered to me and didn't bring it back for an hour I ordered a chicken roll and it was the size of my finger for $10 and there was nothing but pepperoni in it no cheese no nothing cold and dry because it was cooked an hour ago when it should've been delivered to me the sausage that I asked for in my pasta it was burnt not cut out very unappetizing looking and the pasta was all morphed the sauce was dried up I have officially learned my lesson and i will not be giving this business or it's employees my money anymore. Ordered delivery a few weeks later and was rushed off the phone because the order taker was "the only one on a register" and there was a long line! Nothing too Special about this place. It's one of the first pizza joints you'll run into after crossing the Verrazano Bridge into Staten Island, right off of exit 13. The local neighborhood pizzeria. Simple Decor. Huge Oven behind the counter with the glass display of specialty slices waiting to be picked. You know the huge specialty slices topped with crazy stuff like huge chunks of Buffalo Chicken or those crazy looking slices piled high with mad broccoli that are always just waiting there when you go into a local pizza joint. This place is no different. The specialty slices almost look like those plastic toy food pieces that come with the fake kitchen set. Yeah, the fake chicken and pizza plastic toys that you played with when your like in kindergarten. It's for that reason I usually don't pick up specialty slices from Mom & Pop pizza shops just cause you don't know how long they've been waiting for you. It was a whatever though day. The dude behind the counter was cool and was ready to take my order as soon I as I walked in. "Lemme get that Chicken, Tomatoes and Onion Slice right there. You know what, lemme get a Plain Slice too" "How much are the Garlic Knots?" ... "Six for a Dolla Fifty? Yeah, I'll take six of those as well" Dude placed my order in the oven. Five minute wait. From the oven to a pizza box and I'm out the door. Gadzooks! The Chicken Tomatoes and Onion Slice were warm at best. When they first opened their pizza & wings rocked! Then it just became ok. Not a great area of town after hours. If you order for delivery they are pretty fast. The illegal aliens drive really fast. Only possible problem like I had one night was my delivery never made it cause they were stopped by the U.S. Park Police driving like chicken little on Fort Wadsworth and my delivery guy was arrested for having no drivers license. On a few occasions items were left out of the order, but were later delivered after we called to correct the omission. The pizza is usually good. We've tried Alfredo, Sicilian, pepperoni, mushroom, and plain slices, as well as a multi-topping pie. Again, pizza is generally good; not great or memorable. I used to order from this place everyday. I haven't ordered from them in a while so my wife and I were starving after being in 2 hours of traffic we placed an order. I usually don't write reviews but this was absolutely the worst food I EVER ordered it was 2 wraps and 2 square slices for my kids. The pizza was hard as if it was sitting for days. The wraps were so old that they just flaked and fell apart and filled with lettuce and literally 1 thin piece of meat and the French fries were cold and tasted like the pizza and last my wrap smelled like burnt plastic. Recently, over the last 2-3 weeks I ordered at different times the following; whole pizza with extra cheese, white slices (my favorite), garlic knots, caesar salad with chicken on top, shrimp parm hero, cannoli and carrot cake. I was in the neighborhood and waited while they opened up. Some specialty slices were made and were ready at 11:00 opening time so I grabbed my white slice. Oh, I forgot to mention the chicken soup. I know, its only chicken soup, but coming from someone who is used to making her own, it means something. Especially this flu season, when I didn't feel like cooking, I enjoyed their soup with a piece of Italian bread. Seriously, I thought it was good as homemade. Ordered a grilled chicken Ceasar salad, it was ok but hella small and expensive for the size. Bari's Pizzeria or Brothers Pizzeria are a little further but have much better and bigger salads for the money, for the same price a My Pizza i get 2-3 times more salad and waaaaay more chicken! see the thing is that there are no other pizzeria's in close proximity to My Pizza so the can get away with the higher prices due to lack of close competition. I can't give it one star because I do really like their penne vodka. I am, however, unhappy with their service. I've ordered three times and thrice my order has been messed up. The first time I ordered by phone and everything was okay except the side of penne had vodka sauce which was delicious. No biggie. The second time, I ordered online and clearly indicated that I wanted the side penne with vodka sauce. They sent the chicken entree OVER the penne and then totally denied that my order had specified penne vodka. I had it in black and white in my email. The pizza here is really good! I came here one day after work and ordered the vodka slice , chicken and tomato slice and Alfredo slice. they all tasted soo good.
