This review is after my third visit. I have a 14 year old German shepherd with fused disc's in his back and arthritis from being 14. I remind them every time how old he his and every time I bring him home he can barely walk if he can at all. It's frustrating because this doesn't happen when I leave him at our vet Jules. And it doesn't happen when I give him a bath myself using a hose. I take him to to groomer thinking I'm spoiling him like the spa. Not a torture chamber for four hours. I'm talking can't walk from the car to the house needs to be carried. And even after he's home an entire night of crawling around because his hind legs can support him. Really dissapointing. It seems all the workers are yound and dont give a damn. But either way if you can't service senior dogs without making them bedridden for a day decline the job. read more

We brought our cocker spaniel and our yorkie and they both were a mess (meaning we waited too long for them to be groomed) picked them up and this is the best they ever looked after they were groomed. This place is highly unorganized and utterly useless. I took my 2pound teacup Yorkie in for a light trim, a bear face cut, wash and a teeth cleaning. They tried to charge me a price different from my original evaluation price. The dog groomer told me what he was going to look like when he was done, and they wrote the details on a card of exactly what I wanted and what they were going to do. When I picked him up they did not follow anything. He looks like a rat. The workers are lazy, they allow dogs to sit for hours barking and uncomfortable while they lounge and eat. They told me it would take 1-3 hours for my dog to get his service. When I picked him up he does not smell good, does not look clean and he has dandruff that was not on him before. When I was going to stay with my dog they were persistent that I should leave. Not once did they say I could stay with my dog. They proceeded to lie to me and said that my dog was not cut yet when I came to pick him up. yet he was already cut in a horrific way. When I first walked in he was howling and crying while you could tell he was in the back dryer for a long time. They proceeded to hand him to me and tell me he was ready to go, yet they had no intention of calling me. While in their poor excuse for an establishment, I overheard that the secretary had called the wrong owner to pick up a dog. Before I dropped my dog off, the dogs had already been sitting in the window for hours, while the secretary was phoning the wrong owner. They do not clean their stations and allow other dogs to touch, lick, and bite one another. My dog did not have fleas when I took him in. And now he does. Overall my experience was disappointing and disgusting. I would not recommend. read more

Warning!!!‼ Beware!!!!!‼‼‼ The owner is so mean spirited. I brought my dog for the third time to the bark house but this last time when I took John Pierre and I told them already that he is matted. I couldn't afford to groom him sooner. And after I dropped off John Pierre, she told me it's gonna really "hurt him". I even told her don't make me feel worse than I already do honestly looking back. I should've walked out. I wanted to, but I know JP Had to get groomed waiting for Jean-Pierre for four hours worrying that he's going to get hurt is not acceptable it's your job to handle mats. That is why you have a business because of mats. You did not need to say anything that it was going to hurt him like that not appropriate not cool. I worried about him for four hours stomach turning waiting for him to be done. I was waiting for a phone call. She said that she would call me soon as he's done and I walk up and he is sitting in the store window And she never even called me and told me that he was ready. Who knows how long he was sitting in the window for for because she was on her phone when I walked in. I got JP's piece of paper slip with his information on it, and I ripped it up in front of her. I told her she's not rude. She's malicious. You are in the wrong business if you are telling your customers that they're baby boy/girl is going to be in pain while getting groomed. I've had been taking my three dogs to this place since 2020. Referred a tone of friends with fur babies. The last 3 times all dogs come back with something wrong. Either sheer cuts in ear or clipper cuts from getting too close to private parts. Was told by owner that we should "spray for flees" because our dogs were infested. When in reality they get flees from being there from 10 am to 4 pm! This was our last time going, spending a pretty penny and to be told that we need to spray. They over book and don't get dogs out on time, collect flees from other dogs, they come back stressed and itching and then on top licking their cuts and rashes. Horrible experience and the owner cannot accept that they did wrong and only made excuses. Not OK. THEY Lost our business. And won't ever refer anyone there again! read more

Best grooming service! My dog has anxiety and super sensitive on her back nails but they offer vip service which has done wonders to get her comfortable. Most places did a horrible job or wouldn't take her because she would become aggressive and bite if anyone went near her nails (again she is sweet dog but just very sensitive). I've been debating on doing this for about a week or so now but sadly I can not look at my pup and accept this at the end of the day that's my money and my mothers on these two pups we have been going here for maybe about 2 years they have seen my dogs lots of times and have done a great job before! Just not sure what went wrong this day. Not only was the lady on the phone unprofessional cussing on the phone with my mom over them not "charging me" the right price for my pups hair cut after going to them for so long, his hair was not bad like other times we have brought him his hair was pretty long but not crazy long she said they needed to charge me more because this wasn't the right price for a schnauzer cut mind you they had already bumped us up the last time we came and now not only where they're trying to bump us up over the phone but also again when my mom got there. last time we went they had told us that it would go up about $5-$10 for each dog our dogs use to be $45and $60 they went up $65 for my small pup a jack Russell mix and $85 for my standard schnauzer so I decided my Jack Russell mix would not be getting a cut from them anymore due to the fact that he was just getting completely shaved nothing specific for him no style nothing like that. Got charge $45 for nails and a bath not to bad for me I guess. But I just don't understand the unprofessionalism from the owner on the phone talking rude to my mother and cussing because simply they "haven't been charging us the right amount" not sure if they were upset because my jack Russell would no longer be getting a grooming and that's where the prices came from but like I said over all they took all of this out on my standard schnauzer who doesn't even look like he got a haircut it looks like he's out growing his haircut which is ridiculous his bread is uneven we told him to shave his whole Belly and they didn't there's parts of him that are uneven on him I just don't understand what was the point of raising my price when you didn't even end up doing the job right. Never again will we go here after what they did to my pup I totally understand everyone's trying to make money in this life but this is not how you do it! We were very nervous to take our goldendoodle puppy (5 months old) to get our goldendoodle puppy groomed however Goode grooming took such good care of her and did a great job with her full cut! This was her first time at the groomers and I was pleasantly surprised that they managed get it all done!! With that said we did a lot of practicing and desensitizing at home with our puppy so that she could have a good experience since she is a high maintenance breed. Brought my dog in for a cut, they sent her home with her fur cut uneven and WAY too close to her skin in some parts, which was especially noticeable around her face/head. She had excessive itching and scabs/wounds. Poor baby had huge scabs and bleeding on the side of her face for almost a week at least after her appointment here. When we went in to bring it up, they claimed that they saw a flea and that was what caused her itching... we have another dog and we know for sure she did not have fleas. I took my Chloe to this shop for the first time today and was greeted by a very friendly staffer. The shop was clean and super cute! I was a bit nervous because we have had not so good experiences with other shops. When I returned to pick Chloe up only 1 hour later she was very calm and looked adorable with her fresh cut and blingy collar! Unless your dog is a tee-cup be prepared to pay 30-50 % more than they quote. Beware they call after the have bathed the dog to inform you of the additional over quoted cost. The actual grooming to "par" at best, no knowledge of specific breed cuts / style. We will not use them again, over $100 for a 20 lb dog to be washed & shaved. read more

My wife and I took our dog, Bear, to Barkhouse No 14 yesterday and he came out looking amazing! We have never seen him so fluffy and well groomed, after a doggy spa day. Our hearts were overflow with joy to see our dog presented in such lovely state. The staffs were friendly and knowledgeable about our Australian Shepherd. They understood that Australian Shepherds should not be shaved, due to the fact that they use their double coat to control their body temperature and such. We have taken Bear to another groomer prior to coming to Barkhouse No 14 and we're so disappointed both times. We will bring our Husky to Barkhouse No 14 next week for the same royal K9 treatment that Bear had received and I'm sure Sasha will come out looking amazing as well. Special shout out to Divine and Stefany for taking such great care of Bear and made him so soft and cuddly. Plus he smells great too now. WOW!!!!! read more

We are so happy to have found a Creative Grooming place here in Tracy. I've always dreamed of getting my boy Chico dyed bright and colorful with a rainbow chest. Jessica was enthusiastic about my dream at consult and they ordered more dog dye colors to make my dream come true. There was a power outage today and I was crushed we might be cancelled, but they stayed late and finished my boy and I'm so in love with his new look. He was happy, soft, nice smelling, and colorful at pick up and they were very kind with him because he's a clumsy affectionate guy that sometimes gets in the way. Completely agree with Saida who gave this place a one star review. My wife took our doodle to get groomed and came back with a botched cut. You can see all the uneven Ness and patches, face is very crookedly cut. Both side of her face and ears part have longer and more hair than the other and very uneven . very unprofessional cut. I've been staring at our dog for three days now and it looked like a child got a hold of a clipper and ran it through the dogs body and face that's how crooked and botched of a cut she was given. Very disappointed!!! If you don't know how cut a certain dog's hair... please let the owners know instead of just doing it and have disappointed client. He has a history of itching resulting in skin issues, and after his grooming appointment these have improved. He is shedding a lot less than he was previously, and looked fabulous afterwards!
