Our house experienced water leaks during the raining season so there are molds, unpleasant smell in the garage level. Ivan gave us detailed price quotes, explained our concerns, sent videos about what to prepare before the work started. During the fogging work, He and his team member gave our whole house a thorough dry fogging treatment. Right after that, two air samples were took and sent for lab testing. As a medical professional who treats patients with mold illness and its myriad of manifestations (allergies, asthma, skin rashes, digestive issues, hormone imbalance and chronic fatigue to name a few) I've learned the most important intervention is to eliminate the source of exposure. Ivan was adept at identifying problem areas and underlying causes for them. He made useful suggestions and our handyman and contractor helped make it happen. I separately contracted a company to do mold testing to identify the degree and type of problem. Based on that testing we found a few more potential sources and ended up replacing windows and repairing the chimney flashing. The treatment offered by My Pure Environment is very effective at killing mold and helps reduce the likelihood of recurrence. It is still important to evaluate for underlying causes and in some cases a full remediation with removal of moldy drywall or floorboards is necessary prior to this treatment. Mold spores can contaminate fabrics, clothes, couches, carpets and when humidity rises they start to germinate. Most mold remediation companies do not adequately address the cross contamination. I've used various fogging agents in the past but none were as thorough and effective as this treatment. I've attached the pre and post treatment. This company was hired to do fogging in an apartment with an ongoing mold issue. They completed the first fogging, but when I tested the air two days later, the mold levels were still extremely high. Aspergillus/Penicillium remained about twenty times above the acceptable threshold. There was only a small decrease, which may have been due to the affected drywall being removed earlier, not the fogging itself. Because of this, a second fogging was done. I haven't done a follow-up test yet, so I can't comment on whether the second treatment worked. I rarely write reviews, but one thing I found completely unacceptable was what I saw on my security camera footage. The workers stood on my white cushioned stools/chairs instead of using the ladder we had. Even though they were wearing protective boot covers, they were still walking in and out of the apartment and then stepping directly on my furniture. For a professional company, this is not something I would expect. Because of the limited effectiveness of the first fogging and the lack of care with my belongings, I'm giving two stars. read more

My tenant complained about smell of mold, so we hired Ivan, Pure Environment to investigate the matter. At arrival, Ivan walked around the  property's surroundings, quickly pointed out a few potential moisture retention problems and gave suggestions for mold prevention. He also thoroughly looked inside the house, determining that the problem was small and tenant could stay there during his treatment. This is a much relief to us after we heard the news. Before Ivan came, we hired another mold inspection/ restoration company to check the moisture level in the bathroom. The person was dishonest as he used a moisture reader to test the bathroom floor after my tenant took a shower and stated excessive moisture level on the floor. The person offered $5000 just to take out all newly installed flooring for investigation. Luckily, Ivan came, we learned that the problem was not as big as the other company claimed, only a small area around the vanity's back wall needs treatment. I reached out because I was experiencing mold illness symptoms in a new apartment. ​They were kind enough to come out and do a free inspection' on short notice (which was just visual and after research I am just as qualified to do if not more so) However really they were just trying to sell me their expensive remediation treatment due to a poor fan in the bathroom. I later hired an actual qualified mold inspector and he quickly identified a source or water damage, actually tested via samples and wrote a proper report identifying the source of a black mold issue in a completely. I would recommend saving your money and hiring a proper team. I just want to preference this with how much I hate leaving negative reviews on small businesses. Like, I truly hate it. I'm making an exception because this company (specifically Ivan) is a sham. They were hired by my property management to do mold remediation on my apartment and we were guaranteed by Ivan that once the treatment was finished, we wouldn't have any further issues. I thought it was a reach as this is an entire building issue and mold will keep coming back, but, fine. I'm okay with being proven wrong. We also bought a new dehumidifier and bleached the walls after we got home after the treatment. The apartment was mold free for about three weeks and now it's come back--AND IT'S EVEN WORSE. Ivan is refusing to come out to look at it and keeps insisting that it's dead mold, except it growing everywhere. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE AWFUL. read more

Worst company ever. Did an inspection for my tenant. Claimed there was a high level of mold in the air. Offered no proof and refused to put anything in writing. However Matthew called my tenant and told her that her placed had a high concentration of mold. I will be calling Angie's list tomorrow to complain about this company. This company is a rip off. Inspected my apartment and claimed to have found high levels of mold but offered no proof. nothing in writing. Stated they could do the clean up for $1500.00. This company is only out to get money. Do not hire this company it is a waste of time and money. read more
