The gorgeous design and attention to detail with the structures design and both interior and exterior design, are breathtaking. The infinity pool with stunning views is like we have never seen before, and the sunset over the valley as seen from the front of the home, is magnificent. Our son was turning one month and that is exactly what we were looking for, a couple of days away from the busy city life. We didn't want noises of cars driving by, people roaming the streets and having conversations outside of your bedroom window. I came across this place while surfing airbnb and we couldn't have been any happier that we found it. Briana was a great host! She gave me a call within a few hours of me booking the place online. She advised me that it would be smart to have all of my grocery shopping done prior to arriving at Casa Bella Verde as there are no stores in the immediate area and she also advised me of the unpaved road that is leading up to the house when you turn off the main road. Having the knowledge of these things was very helpful. The "guest house" that you stay in has everything that you might need to have a weekend (or even longer) of relaxation. The guest house is very modern with the amenities one might need and not need. We were particularly fans of the jacuzzi hot tub which is big enough to fit 4 adults. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck which has some amazing views. As a host, we couldn't have asked for a better one. When we got there she did a walk through with us to explain to us on how all of the gadgets work (everything is very high tech.) The fridge was stocked with eggs, some english muffins, and orange juice. As we were making dinner we realized we forgot olive oil and balsamic, I had asked Briana is she by chance had any and without a doubt she did. Within a couple of minutes of me asking I was able to walk over to the main house and there was what we had asked for on the kitchen counter. If you're expecting what is posted on their website, you will be disappointed. We were a bit…read moreconcerned upon our arrival as the place looked deserted. No host present at any time during our stay and no other guests (not counting the man who came and went at odd hours). The cottage could use some upkeep and a good cleaning...multiple lights burnt out, shower glass was extremely dirty, one wash cloth for two guests, soap dispensers all empty. One bedroom TV didn't work, dishwasher was hard to open due the bottom cabinet trim being out of place. On the second day I notified the management company that a bear had been through the property leaving debris scattered throughout. The reply was I'll come by tomorrow and clean it up. The debris was still there when we left two days later. On the second night we noticed a man arrive late and go into a cottage, he left early the next day. He arrived again around 11pm on the third night, blasting an air horn outside our bedroom window in an attempt to scare the bears (Mom and cub) away from his car. Again, I called the management company who stated no staff or guests other than us were present. No concern on their part, "What do you want me to do?". I got a lecture on bears even though I shared that I had owned a home in Tahoma for many years, I am very familiar with bear behavior. And although my car was damaged by the bears, the bears weren't the issue. I received a survey several days after returning home and recounted our experience and disappointment in what should have been a very pleasant stay. At the end of the survey I was prompted to request a call regarding my experience, responding yes. Never heard from anyone.

Such a wonderful experience! We hosted a celebration of life for my mother in law here and we could…read morenot have found a more peaceful and beautiful place to honor her. Russ and Debbie, the owners, were so accommodating, enjoyable, helpful and easy going; people you could just spend all day talking to. There are some RV spaces to camp here so we stayed on site to make set up a little easier on the day of the memorial. We had family that rented a quaint one bedroom cabin on site as well. There is an outdoor covered kitchen area with a huge refrigerator, which allowed us to bring food in advance and prep the day before. It was all so convenient! They were in the path of the Dixie fire, so the drive out there is baron, but don't let that deter you. Once you arrive, you are surrounded by green trees and stunning scenery. It was a perfect hidden gem. We are so pleased with our entire experience at lassen meadows and would absolutely recommend it and use this venue again for other events.

Stayed a year ago in cabin 9. Rats! Rats! Rats! We were…read morewoken up by their obnoxious sounds and notified the on site care taker who was playing a late night game of pool with friends. Rude! Rude! Rude! She reluctantly came to check and scolded us for not fully closing the patio doors which by the way is hard to open and close. The screen with a magnet attached, what a joke! The rats were living under the fridge and when we moved it to the side, there it was! A passage and droppings all over the floors. She then said, "well, you are in nature!" We weren't camping or glamping near a sewage! Despicable! Did absolutely nothing to accommodate us or move us to another cabin. So we stayed up all night with the rats! I am not sure about all the other cabins but #9 is smelly, old, and gross! Be careful being on the deck, might go through the rotting woods!

I booked us a trip to go hiking and stay at buttes resort on a whim and a quick Google search. I am SO happy we stayed here. Pulling up, we met with Jim the owner who was super nice and got us set up in our cabin, lucky number 5. It was sooooo cute. The grounds are kept very nice and there is a beautiful overlook in the back. The cabins have little patios and common areas to hangout with the other guests. They have an office that has free movies to borrow, board games, Menus for the restaurants and more. Walking into our cabin we were totally in awe. It was so homey and we were instantly comfortable. The cabin is decorated really well and has everything you can possibly need including a kitchen, utensils, plates and cups, hot coffee, a microwave, a fridge, and more. Our bed was really comfortable, the temperature was easily changed, we didn't notice any outside noise and we just had an absolutely amazing time. I can't wait to come back.
