Luckily, the car started after about 20-minutes of trying so we didn't need his services. Kokanee is a type of salmon species common to Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River. The person who named the place must have been trying to lure fisherman. Oh, and the Forest around Kokanee Kabins is big and beautiful and heavenly. Bring your favorite drinks and a camera and call Kokanee Kabins home for a weekend.
