I was referred to My Spa Fix by a local spa firm as they didn't service our brand of spa. First, I have to say that I am not an easy customer to please. But My Spa Fix was an excellent vendor who arrived when they said they would, followed up on the initial call, made a reminder call, and returned when needed to install ordered parts and even had our spa working between the two required visits. Their repairmen were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable and charged as promised. The techs answered all questions and were totally capable. Unfortunately our older spa had some rat damage due to it sitting right next to our fence and our neighbors ivy growing into our yard. We immediately called my spa when the leaks were discovered and they came out the next day, the technician was nice and very knowledgeable. I'm going to give these guys a good review based on customer service alone , even though they weren't able to do the service I'm looking for. I have contacted every pool repair company on Yelp today within 30 minutes of where I live. I was given a lot of lame excuses why companies weren't able to even schedule me an appointment (long story short, I have an old piece of equipment and people just aren't sure how to help me)... I've hit a lot of dead ends today and have dealt with a lot of people who just don't want to make the effort. Steve took some time of out of his day today to see if he could find someone who could help me, and that's just something people don't really do anymore. It's really important to me to SUPPORT LOCALLY OWNED businesses. Because of that, I patiently waited 2 weeks for my appointment. This shop is HEAVILY booked. They service an extremely large geographic area with just 1, two man team. All that aside, they do the job right the 1st time! They don't try to up sell or offer repairs that aren't needed. The $$$ rate is very reasonable. I have used them twice in 3 years and have been extremely happy with the professionalism and well detailed & explained service/repairs. The shop is small, closed Sunday & Monday's, and sufficiently stocked to meet my filter and chemical needs. If they don't have they can get very quickly. My Jacuzzi spa is 18 years old and there is nothing that could need repair that they cannot fix or repair, shy of a full on shell fracture. Support Local businesses and give them a call. So I first discovered this company back in 2016 when I moved to Modesto and I received great service and great pricing from the owner and his business was fairly new at that time. I used him a couple more times and he was reasonable. So about 18 months ago I had the main pump on my spa replaced and about a month ago the pump began to fail. I called back and requested the hundred dollar service call and a technician diagnosed that the pump needed to be replaced again. Keep in mind that the original pump on the spa had lasted about 7 to 10 years. So needless to say I was pretty upset that this pump I spent about $500 on and had already failed at 18 months. I spoke with the owner Steve about it and he said he offers a 90 day warranty and the best he could do was give me a 25% discount on a more expensive pump. I wasn't interested in spending about $1000 over 18 months for two pumps replaced. Unfortunately I don't feel like I was taken care of or that the business can really stand behind the product. read more

These folks came out while I wasn't home - scheduling conflict. He called and I told him to go ahead and do the work. When I returned home, the spa was fixed and I was ready to go. He could have done just about anything and I'd have gladly paid the bill. However, he told me it was only a loose fitting and tightened it up and I was good to go. He took a look at an ancient jacuzzi tub that we "inherited" when we bought our home, and had it running in "no time flat", though it might have been for the first time in approx 5 years! He kindly indicated that we might get a year or so out of it, but not to spend any significant money on it due to wear and tear due to age and semi-neglect.
