Hey my dear foodies! I finally decided to check out Tequila House, and I ordered the salmon flour tacos along with a platter loaded with steak, chicken, and cheese, served with rice and refried beans. Overall, the food was good! The salmon could have used a little more seasoning, but I still enjoyed it. For my drink, I ordered a frozen passion fruit margarita, which was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. One thing I really enjoyed was the atmosphere. They had live music, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. The restaurant has a vibrant Mexican vibe with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. The service was surprisingly quick, even though the restaurant wasn't packed, which I definitely appreciated. It's always nice when you don't have to wait long for good food and drinks! They also offer happy hour specials, so I'll definitely be coming back to check those out. Overall rating: 8/10 Good food, quick service, live music, and a family-friendly atmosphere. I have driven past My Tequila House just about every day for the past 8 years and this was my 1st visit. It definitely will not be my last. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. I had enchiladas and my Mom had a burrito - we both got a 2nd meal out of our leftovers. We visited late afternoon/early evening and it was fairly quiet upon arrival but was getting busier by the time we left. Service was good and food was great (though a bit pricey). We visited this place since we were in the area and were craving some Mexican. The food was good, the margaritas weren't bad. The service was kind of poor though. It was absolutely dead in there. We were there a little after 2pm on a Saturday, and our waitress just kept disappearing on us. We were sitting for a while at the end as well waiting for the check and she was sitting and eating with her family/other staff ‍ For that reason, we wouldn't go out of our way to come back when we get excellent service at lots of other places. read more

A solid option for Mexican food in the Lehigh Valley. The service was good, and while the food took a bit longer than expected, it was worth the wait. The flavors were enjoyable, and the portions were generous. Went here on Cinco de Mayo for lunch. They were busy, but the wait for a table was not long. There was a minimal wait for a waitress to come over. She did explain that a few beers were put already. But the chips and salsa were great. Our ordered food did not talk long to come over either so I was impressed with how quickly and well done the food was. The place was set up well for Cinco de Mayo but I think the place was still set up nicely even if you took out all the Cinco de Mayo decorations. Had never been there, and will never go back. planned on an enjoyable evening with friends that we have not seen in quite a while, service was a little slow, but it was OK because we had a chance to talk, well our food was served, and we heard music starting to play. Continued with our meal, and.TRIED to continue our conversation which we could not. The music was so loud, we just couldn't hear each other, I asked four different people if they could somehow ask the performer to turn down the amplifiers or whatever he would have to do to lower intere the volume, I suppose all four requests were totally ignored. My Tequila House is one of my boyfriend's hometown haunts for Mexican cuisine and I'm glad he introduced me to it. We visited around lunchtime on Cinco de Mayo and it wasn't super busy yet, so there was a minimal wait. They did recommend we order as soon as possible, so we did. I ordered my usual entree at this type of Mexican restaurant, vegetable fajitas, but branched out with a chipotle pineapple margarita. The margarita was big and very strong. I liked it. I appreciate that there was a good variety of vegetables for the fajitas, which were delicious. My boyfriend liked his burrito. We both had enough for leftovers, which always makes me happy. This Cantina & Cucina has become one of my go-to's for Mexican drink, food, and now live music. They had live music for Cinco de Mayo yesterday, and it was fabulous. It was so good my friend got up and started dancing. Then she got someone else to dance with her, which got us interacting with some of the other diners. And that made it more fun. We both ordered Hibiscus Margarita, Salmon Fajitas, shared Tropical Guacamole and Homemade Chips, and it was all phenomenal. Veg Fajitas with Lime Margarita on another day was very good. Went there for my first time today. The kids chicken nuggets are literally from the grocery store or something, NOT fresh chicken. I have never experienced this at a Mexican restaurant before ever and I am a huge Mexican lover. The waitress was super sweet and that is the only reason I am giving this restaurant 2 stars. Worst experience at a restaurant in a while. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary. My tequila house was a place my wife had her eye on for a while so I surprised her for our big day. She couldn't wait to get a house margarita-well that never came. They boast "big"portions but I counted 5 pieces of steak in total on 3 of my tropical tacos-very disappointing. Our waitress made one stop at our table and that's when it was time for the check. The manager came out and apologized. No stars. My husband stood there at the counter to place a takeout... 15 minutes later nobody came back out. He could hear them laughing and talking in the back ...totally ignored him. This would've been our first experience with this place. Absolutely horrible that he was treated that way. He turned around and left. We'll go somewhere else for Mexican. Stopped by for a few appetizers. The House Margherita is top notch and my wife raved about the blackberry Margherita. I had beef empanadas and she had chicken taquetas. Both were excellent. This place is as authentic as you will find in the Lehigh Valley. Food and drinks are worth a visit. Our waitress was exceptional. I have read some of the negative reviews and honestly believe their choice of location was miscalculated by them, not the restaurant. Stop by, you will see what I mean. read more

Cocktails menu here is worth the trip alone. Desert Pear Margarita not only looked stunning, but was delicious. Table side quac was average. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars here. It was prepared table side which is nice. All the ingredients looked fresh and tasted fresh as well. My only suggestion, and maybe it's just my personal taste, more cilantro and more lime. I haven't been to Fiesta Ole in awhile, but from what I remember I always had an enjoyable experience. A lot has changed since I last visited, and it's unfortunate to say, this place really went downhill. Service was super slow from the time I got there, until 2+ hours when I left. Even though our waitress was nice, she was overwhelmed and it took forever to get anything. The food was good, but nowhere near satisfying as it used to be. Prices went up and portions got smaller. 0 stars if I could. Gotten the birria tocos, they put no cheese which it says it comes with. It also had no flavor at all. Forgot my fried iced cream. We were very impressed with the food and how everything had the traditional Mexican/Hispanic tastes. The food was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. My wife being from Mexico is very picky about US places serving Mexican food being too Americanized but this place is now on the top few of her list that she's had in the US. A bit pricey, but what restaurant isn't these days... Everything from the chips and homemade salsa to the tacos, to the parrillada were incredible. Sat there for 30 minutes and no one ever came to greet us or serve us. Hell, we weren't even asked if we wanted drinks from the host that seated us. We always wanted to try it as we heard good things about the food. But if no server will come to the table how do you try it? Several servers walked by us. Mind you we were in the front corner of the room so passing us was nearly out of the way for a server to walk by. None of which stopped to ask us if we'd been helped, but they all did see us. We had a wonderful time celebrating my best friends 30th birthday yesterday. Our waitress, Cindy, was wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious & filling & the Patron Burdeos & Patron Guillermo Del Torro were perfect additions for the celebration. The food here is extremely overpriced! To the point where you feel like a sucker for supporting their business I was there last night ... The guacamole had no salt or lime juice! I was just thinking okay they are busy ill just eat it. Then she arrived with our carnitas tacos that had been basically glued on to the metal pan they use to serve it in ... Lord Jesus i was still like ok no biggie... she pops back up with my chicken fajitas and she served me a slice of a chicken breast on a bed of vegetables! I ordered a Mango Mojito. This is a drink that should be light and refreshing, but this one was heavy flavor was OK. I also had the Enchaladas Verdes. Unfortunately, they did not have much flavor. I went here twice and walked out twice. Yesterday I sat at the bar and had 3, again, THREE waitresses come to the front of the bar not even acknowledge me. 1 was looking directly at me. Didn't ask if i needed a menu or a water. Didn't say someone would be with me shortly. Nothing. 1 was in the corner saw me and just went on her phone. I told the man at the host stand that all these waitresses did was look at me and do nothing. His response was literally "Why do you think that is?". When I explained they just ignored me he went into the whole "we have a rotation the servers have to do yadayadayada". I said yeah ok and left. Very bland. Tropical Guacamole- Came directly from the kitchen and not the usual guacamole station or table side. The chunks of mango were pretty hard & large which made it difficult to pick with the chips. I added some fresh jalapeños to make it flavorful. Hibiscus margarita- this was nice but not refreshing as the usual floral margarita's I have had at other restaurants Chipotle pineapple margarita- couldn't taste the pineapple at all. I've dined here a few times. The food is usually good but damn, $17.00 for a chimi that is mostly peppers and onions??? I can get very good chimi, packed with actual meat, for less than $15 at Cactus Blue or On The Border. The empinadas although very good are a lil overpriced at 2 for $10.
