Very disappointed with size of chimichanga (wanted to share with someone at home) - smaller than I have seen chimichangas before. Also, I should have checked my bag. I ordered rice and beans and I only had rice. Salsa opened in the bag. I paid extra for sour cream and I thought I had two containers. One was salad dressing (I think. It was not sour cream). I have been here twice before with my husband. I really like their margaritas. Last time I think I ordered a quesadilla. It was pretty good. They had live music the last time, which was nice; however, it was too loud for the space. We could not have a conversation. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. read more

I was staying at the nearby Ramada Inn and I love Mexican food so I decided to give a try. The staff was really nice and the chips and salsa were excellent. Some menu items might be good, but since I'm a vegetarian I went with the Burrito Maya that was supposed to be filled with rice, beans, zucchini and onions, but it was 90% onions and 10% zucchini and rice...no beans at all. I pulled most of the onions off but that left me with a relatively expensive tortilla if you go don't order that! read more

This was the second time we were there and we remember having a better experience the first time. But this last time wasn't great. First the good. We actually liked the meal. Other than the bland guacamole, the food was decent. Our waitress was good and very nice but it looked like they were understaffed which made the service slow. Place wasn't even half full. The worst part was our glasses and plates. They use mason jars with handles which I know are hard to clean. The first set we received were dirty (which can happen) but the second set were dirty as well! (suggest they stop using mason jars...). Plus our appetizer plates were also dirty. It's a good place, clean, chips are good, the drinks are better. My wife got to practice her Spanish with the waiter. Honestly it's prolly the best Mexican food in the Lehigh valley. Remember you're not in a Mexican border state or a high population center and you won't be disappointed. After eating the food, the Mexican rice is moist and fluffy, the duck tacos were amazing and my wife's Enchiladas suprema were delicious. Also we got the traditional guacamole and asked for more jalapeños for added spice, we were afraid the entire meal would be without spice. Our waiter brought out red sauce with my duck tacos, it was very spicy but very flavorful. My doubts of not enough heat in the food were quickly squashed. I would say that this Mexican restaurant was better than 70-80% of the places I've eaten in Phoenix, Dallas/Houston area and Southern California. This is not the kind of place I want to patronize. A week ago, I posted a comment on their FB page, about my husband inadvertently tipping an additional $70 on a $288 bill for 7 people, because he didn't realize the tip (@$57) was already included. I questioned the added gratuity & fact that the additional $70 tip wasn't questioned as a mistake. My sister is a server & has questioned an unusually large tip. I don 't know about you, but how many people leave $130 tip on a $288 check? That's unusually large. Miguel, the manager, posted that he & is employees are very honest & asked that I email him details. I emailed details to him TWICE, with no response. I also called, as did my husband, and though we were each told to hold, the person who answered the phone came back to each of us, to say he wasn't there. I highly doubt that was the case. No email response, not taking our calls (yes, we gave our name, which he had from my post). As much as we planned to return again, the rudeness by the manager requesting details, then refusing to acknowledge the email or phone calls is inexcusable. Over cooked chips, I asked for a new batch... server came with more nearly burnt chips. ASK for the margarita pitcher price because it's not listed and at $56 it would have been nice to know before hand. The food was good as always, I had the surf and turf molcajete which was a little salty but definitely good. I split the bill between me and a friend signed off my credit card receipt and gave the server a cash tip, the next day or so I checked my bank account for a totally separate reason and noticed that the charged amount for the restaurant had changed by almost 6 dollars. I was confused so I called the restaurant they said a manager would call me back... never happened. I waitresses another day for a call back with no answers so I went in on my lunch break to get this sorted. The hostess went and got the owner for me I immediately showed him the receipt and the charge on my banking app and he proceeded to try to convince me that it was something wrong with MY bankGUVE IT A COUPLE OF DAYS, that the servers would never steal there had to be some sort of glitch... why would you assume that automatically something was wrong on MY end you can clearly see that the receipt I had and the charge on my account were completely different, he kept trying to over talk me and convince me that it had to be some sort of system error. He offered no other solution besides to give me the difference and just kept repeating that his servers wouldn't steal. Had I not went on my app and checked it would've slipped by me ,I wonder how many times this happened to other people!!! Make sure if you go to this restaurant you take a picture of your signed receipt and definitely check your banking account later at some point. I will never go back to this place because of that. I wonder how many times I've been there before had this happened???!!! So, the first time getting a to go order there and ordering with Alejadra was fantastic everything for the order was there and in perfect preperation for the to go order as well as the taste of the asada and carnita corn tacos, that we usually do on a taco Tuesday we have been ordering there now for over a month and each time has gotten worse... the carnita the last time where waaay to salty and never enough condiments for 2 orders of tacos as well as for chips and salsa. The guacamole was always so good as well this time last night was disgusting it was runny and waaaay to much lemon added turned my stomach sour. I gave them over 3 tries to keep a tradition for my friend and I and Lilly who also works there was amazing with her helping but just was not what we first experienced. This place was recommended to us by somebody who works nearby, but we were not terribly impressed. The white cheese sauce is delicious, but too expensive for the serving size. Chips were good, but when she refilled them we did not get salsa and it took a while to get anybody's attention. The most disappointing was the mole sauce on the enchiladas. I'm not an expert, but compared to other mole sauces I've had around the US (and in Mexico) this might've been my least favorite. My ice tea glass also sat empty for way too long. Only come here if you have time to kill! Like massive time to kill! We arrived at 5:30pm and no one even came to greet us or ask for our drinks until 6:02. It was like we were invisible. The server who finally came to our table wasn't even ours and the only reason she came is because she overheard me say "I'm going to leave a yelp review". She told us she wasn't even sure who our waiter was but She took our drink order and ran off. The drinks were brought to our table by our server who didn't even introduce herself or apologize for the wait. The best part is that the restaurant wasn't even busy!!!! We actually witnessed one table get up and leave because they waited so long to be served. The table behind us tried to get a waiter 2-3 times and was ignored. He actually had to go to the front of the restaurant and ask for someone to come over to his table. It's a shame for two reasons. The first because this was our second time back that the service was terrible. We were actually here a couple months ago and walked out because we never got served or acknowledged. We were giving it another shot for redemption and it did not live up. The second reason is because their food is pretty good. Although my daughters quesadilla came out a little too crispy for her liking. We talked to someone who came around and was asking each table how everything was and when we told him the service was slow he responded "my service is usually slow." Probably not the best thing to tell your patrons. Overall, we probably won't be back. read more

And was told this is the new managers policy is a mason jar glass, great for Hill Billys I guess! Got a replacement maragretta in a glass but the taste was quite disappointing . I can make better drinks at home! The Yellow Fin Tuna Tacos once great have become a victim of portion control, the fish in the taco is barely visable. Tried desert the fried ice cream is a ball of ice cream rolled in stail cornflakes. Sad to say we will not be back. read more

Being from Colorado, I have always struggled to find good Mexican food on the east coast. Most of the Mexican places are really mild and lack that flavor we get in the Southwest. However, I really really like this place. I got the combination with a taco and enchilada, but had them put the green sauce on it instead of the usual sauce. Let me tell you. The green sauce is SPICY. Since I've been pregnant, I have been craving spicy foods like nobody's business...and this was almost a little too spicy for me. Which is shocking because I've had a difficult time finding spicy Mexican food in the LV..without venturing into a neighborhood that I wouldn't feel comfortable walking alone in, anyway. Their presentation is pretty nice - but as a result they're REALLY stingy on my rice. I'd say that's my biggest beef with this place, because I LOVE Mexican rice. I would eat it every day if I could, and they just give you this little pyramid of it. Oh well. Anyhow, food is great, service is pretty good and the staff are friendly. The food was authentic and delicious food! The guacamole is very good and fresh! I had a hard time choosing what to get because they have a good variety of choices.The molcajete is a big plate and definitely feeds two! I love, love, love this place.. I travel over an hour because the food is soo yummy! Everyday they have a different drink special for $3.99... Like sangria, margaritas, mojitos ect... Out of the three Fiesta Ole locations I've tried (Emmaus & Bethlehem), this is by far my favorite. I went with my father about a week ago, and we will definitely be back! There was only one waiter on staff during our visit. He greeted us, promptly seated us, took our drink orders, made our drinks, took our food orders, and quickly brought our food out to us- piping hot. When he wasn't busy with us, he was wiping down tables and counters, being sure everything was properly set in the restaurant. It's hard to find that level of service, even in high end restaurants. My dad, who is extremely critical of service, actually tipped him well over 20%- that says a lot. The food was good! As I said before, it came out really hot and the portions were perfect. The prices here are reasonable, as well. Our drinks were great too- good prices and they had a nice fresh fruit taste and a good bite to them, unlike some other places that seem to have more sugar than anything else! My only negative is that the restaurant is just a little dark for me. I like mine a little bit brighter, but it's nothing that would keep me from returning here! read more
